The Council Elders were following the updates as well. They were happy about the medic center news.

They had been worried that the injured warriors might have less of a chance to survive, because none of them had been in any condition to walk.

But the healers did their work. Though the serious injuries needed long-term recovery time, the healers were able to save their lives.

On the other hand, the Council Elders were also worried that another battle might occur, as it had been a few days. If the enemy side attacked, it could become dangerous.

They didn’t have Red Mark Warriors to send. They didn’t even have the minimum number of Red Mark Warriors.

It didn’t take long for them to learn that they were worried for nothing. Quasi-God Jane had sent them a message.

The Foreign Creatures had broken many rules by sending Elite Creatures to the Non-Elite Red Mark Battlefield. Because of it, the human side had suffered massive damage.

So, the human side’s Quasi-God Powerhouses had taken action against the post of the foreign creatures.

After hearing the news, the Council Elders were all happy. They knew that a battle wouldn’t happen anytime soon. The foreign creatures had really angered the human powerhouses.

Over 500 Red Mark Warrior lives had been lost in the past few battles. This news was good news to them. In the meantime, they could recruit more people from the Tier-5 Region.

Though the strength of the Red Mark Warriors varied, they decided to assign a strict training plan to them.

Training Camp No. 1

I had once again entered the Puppet Hall to fight against the puppets. This time, I selected Hell Mode. I planned to use the attack techniques I knew to fight against the puppets.

I didn’t want to rely on the overwhelming power of the dark purple lightning and other inheritances.

It didn’t take long for the first puppet to appear. The Red Mark Puppet charged at me right away. I drew the black sword and readied myself to fight.

In a flash, both came into contact with each other. Just as the puppet’s punch was about to hit me, I evaded the attack and swung the sword at the puppet.

The blade struck the shoulder of the puppet.

A metallic noise sounded. The impact of the blade forced the Red Mark Puppet to take a few steps backward. A small scratch appeared on its metal body.

A quick gleam appeared in my eyes. Then, I grabbed the hilt tightly and started fighting fiercely.

As time passed, the metallic clashes continued to occur. I had previously only used the sword as a medium to release lightning power, but I thought it was time to focus on real sword skills.

A real sword skill could injure an opponent without elemental power. As time went on, I used this real-time target to practice my sword skills.

Slowly, the number of scratches began to increase on the puppet’s body. Seeing that, I continued to strike at the same spot. As the blade strikes continued to hit it, the scratches became dents, one after another.

In the meantime, a few of the puppet’s punches landed on me. There was heavy force behind the punches, but I was able to withstand them because of my strong body.

I blocked the following attacks successfully without taking a hit. The puppet’s movements were also slowing down.

One hour later,

The Red Mark Puppet’s body was covered in many dents. The puppet’s movement was restricted; it could not move easily like before.

There were dents on its arms and legs. From beginning to end, I didn’t use the power of the dark purple lightning or any other elements.

It was pure damage caused by the sharp blade. Finally, the puppet couldn’t move its body anymore and collapsed to the ground.

I raised my eyebrows. I could also feel some improvement in my sword skill.

Not long after, the second Red Mark Puppet appeared. It started to attack me right away. I gripped the broadsword and countered the attacks.

As time passed, I relied more on my natural senses to fight. I didn’t even use the power of perception. If I had used the power of perception, it would have been too easy to predict the attacks.

Time passed.

The second puppet suffered the same damage. But this time, I figured out its weak spot earlier and continued to target that area.

As time passed, the number of dents increased in a short time. The puppet’s movements were quickly restricted. I dispatched it with repeated strikes, just like the previous puppet.

On the other hand, the ancient spirit was watching the development. It was aware that the young man missed the battlefield.

The second, third, and fourth puppets went down in a similar fashion. But I knew this Hell Mode had a total of 160 Red Mark Puppets to clear.

As time went on, a number of small wounds appeared on my body, left behind by the punches of the puppets. But I had already defeated more than 20 puppets.

A few hours later,

[You have cleared the hell mode.]

A mechanical voice sounded. Hearing that, I put away the sword inside my storage ring.

Creak!

The next second, I heard the sound of the door opening. I turned around and walked toward the exit. I exited the Puppet Hall and started heading back toward my residence.

If anyone had seen me in this state, they would have been surprised. There were bruises all over my body-obviously left behind by more than a hundred punches.

I could have avoided most of the punches, but I had traded taking hits to land critical strikes. After walking out of the training camp, I reached the street.

There were vehicles passing by. I hailed a cab and hopped inside, then gave the address to the driver.

At the same time, the news of Zack Lockwood clearing Hell Mode reached the administration office and the Council office.
