Thank you for 100 chapters!

We have finally reached 100 chapters! This is such a massive milestone for the novel. I want to thank everyone who has followed the story, whether you've been reading quietly or commenting your thoughts. Special thanks to the other authors who gave me feedback—it helped me improve my writing so much.

Sadly, there won't be any extra illustrations like during the 100k words celebration because my laptop is broken... Though I don't even know if people even like AI illustrations I make to begin with; I just make them for my own entertainment.

​It would be a lie to say that I haven't been envious of other successful authors along the way (I mean, I'm a self-centered, prideful fucker, so I guess it's not very surprising). I'd be looking at stories from people who started after me skyrocket while mine just stays still, reloading the dashboard like a goddamn idiot.

​But after having enough of being envious, I went back to the original reason I started writing a novel in the first place—reading other stories, getting annoyed when they didn't go how I wanted, and creating a story of my own where I get to decide where it goes. Plus, publishing it lets me talk to other people about it while I enjoy the ride myself. This might be the main reason why the novel is light-hearted, and why I try to make so many illustrations just to satisfy myself.

​Fun fact: back when I first started this, I hadn't even read a single light novel except for the Tensura light-novel. Everything else came from manhwa and manhua shit. My fight scenes are inspired by my favorite manhua, I'm an Evil God.

​On that topic, another author actually reached out today and told me to look at feedback from readers and adjust the novel according to them, saying I won't be the ones reading the story, but them. Adjust some minor things in the writing style? Sure. Adjust the story? Nah, fuck you guys. I just wanna say to those people: go read another story then; this one isn't for you.

​Anyways, I have some news: I've started learning digital art! I'll be adding some of my own drawings as I learn, but not all illustrations will be hand drawn cuz, as you can see, my dumbass spams them. I'll also be making designs for important characters in this arc, like Sylene, as the story progresses instead of dumping them all into one chapter.
