Feng Yi laughed quietly at Ning Yan’s expressionless face, already knowing he was taciturn and thought recording two more data points was more efficient than talking.

"Here, these biscuits are for you, as a thank you gift for keeping me company?" Feng Yi took a small bag of handmade biscuits out of the paper bag.

Ning Yan stared at her coldly, wondering if this girl had lost her memory. Hadn’t he just told her that researchers shouldn’t randomly eat things? Didn’t she know that too?

Feng Yi placed the bag of biscuits in the robot Bo Bo’s palm and smiled, saying, "I know you won’t eat them, but putting them here is fine, you can just look at them."

Uncle Ning is quite a fascinating person. He indeed wouldn’t eat random things, but he’s quite happy to display received items prominently in the laboratory.

At first, Feng Yi couldn’t understand this behavior, but later she seemed to figure it out somewhat.

What he actually liked was that someone in the world still cared about him, and giving gifts was a way to show that.

"Take me with you, I won’t bother you. I’m very familiar with Zhongda, I’ve been there countless times, and I even have a reserved seat at the lectures. My brother isn’t here at this institute, and you ignore me, so I’m really bored."

Feng Yi went up and tugged at the hem of his lab coat, deliberately acting spoiled.

Seeing her seasoned display, one could tell she usually likes to act spoiled, practically a veteran at it.

Having never experienced anyone acting spoiled with him or needing him from a young age, Ning Yan was somewhat unaccustomed to it.
