Almighty Summoner System

Swoosh! 

A transparent and glass-like object made its way towards Belle at extreme speed. 

Ban noticed that immediately, he was taken by surprise but before he knew it, his body had already acted on its own. 

He pulled Belle towards him instantly as he swiped the Noble Moth Cloak in front of them to cover them from the incoming object.

Boom!

Although it was only a small object, the size of a fist, the strength it brought was not the same. 

Even though Ban had successfully blocked the object with the Noble Moth Cloak, he could still feel the pain on his arms as he was pushed back a few meters backwards. 

He gritted his teeth as he glared at Delo and his Barrier Turtle, Tori. 

That object came from Tori. Sending out a compressed barrier to attack the opponent. 

"Hehe- what if you're strong? I can still defeat you!" Delo exclaimed with a frenzied voice. 

Tori seems to be quite reluctant and regretted the attack it made, but unfortunately, he could not disobey the order of his owner. 

"What are you even talking about?" He frowned hearing his statement.

  Did he already lose it? Is this his true color? 

'Why am I not even surprised…' Ban thought as he shook his head.

'Even still, how could he attack Belle, the person that he should be protecting?' 

"Are you okay?" He asked Belle who was in his arms at the moment. 

Belle was startled at Leon's sudden action but after hearing that explosive sound, she immediately understood that Leon might have just saved her from something dangerous. 

She was in his arms at the moment but she was not in the right mood to cherish it. Her heart was still in turmoil due to what happened to her Summon and now, she even experienced getting attacked by Delo. 

She did not reply to Ban but based on her expression, he could tell that she was alright, at least physically. 

Delo laughed maniacally seeing their actions. He could not stand it anymore so he immediately ordered Tori to attack them again. 

Tori hesitated for a moment but after seeing his owner's crazy expression, he does not have any courage to go against him. After all, he was just his Summon. 

Tori shook his head lightly before opening his mouth. A glass like object materialized outside his mouth a while later and without any notice, he immediately shot it rapidly towards Leon and Belle. 

Delo laughed crazily after seeing the projectile that Tori just blasted towards them. If you won't go down in the first try, how about a second?

Grrr! 

Eva growled upon seeing that second attack, she flapped her wings and went in front of Ban to shield him from it. 

However, Ban did not think the same.

"No- come back!" Ban was taken aback by Eva's action. Unlike before, she was no longer in her peak state. 

All of her skills were in cooldown except for her Royal Ant Guard who still had a few minutes left for the entire day. Even Ban's Skill, Reinforce, that he used on her earlier had already ended. 

Even though her carapace armor was strong, it was not very suitable to tank for heavy attacks, especially just like the one that Tori just blasted towards them.

Ban knew that she would be in trouble if that attack landed on her.

It was fortunate that Eva was already tired at this time, Ban managed to get a hold of her foot at the last moment. 

Just like what he did to Belle, he also pulled Eva to his arms before he covered himself with the Noble Moth Cloak. 

The same thing happened again, he was pushed backwards for a few meters while his arms started to sting a little from the impact. 

He knitted his brows tightly as he inspected Eva and Belle's state. Fortunately, they were alright as the Noble Moth Cloak managed to shield them from the attack directly. 

Ban no longer waited for anyone's explanation. The first time can be an accident, the second time can be a coincidence and the third time can be intentional. 

Ban was not willing to try his luck and waited for the third time, he decided that he should counterattack. He was hoping that it wasn't the case at first as he knew that fighting at their current state was hard as their skills were mostly in cooldown. 

However, it seems that it wasn't the case. He no longer has any choice. 

Only one choice was left for him in order to defeat Tori and Delo. 

Use the skill Possession. 

The Possession skill was his trump card. It could turn the tides of the battle quite easily if it was used at the right time.

And this time was clearly the right time he was talking about. 

"Stay as far away as possible!" He said as he pushed Belle away from him lightly. 

He took off the Noble Moth Cloak and used it to cover her. He was afraid that she might be hit with stray projectiles while he fights, so it's better to let her use the Noble Moth Cloak for now. 

It would also just hinder his movements as the Noble Moth Cloak was actually a little heavy compared to normal cloaks of the same size.

Seeing that, Eva did not question anything as this time, they were already at the Perfect Harmony state. She fully understood what Ban was trying to accomplish. 

Ban knew that Tori could only use that projectile attack two times before it went into cooldown. It was strong and like any other Singular Realm skills, it had limitations. 

He doesn't know if Tori had already learned more attack-based skills but if he didn't, then this battle would not be that difficult. 

His only problem would be Tori's barrier skills that are hard to penetrate. However, he already has the Possession to counter that, so the only thing left for him to do right now was to close in towards their location. 

Eva switched places and from his shoulder, she was now riding on his head while clutching the two antennae of the Ant Mask so that she wouldn't fall. 

She extended her two upper hands forwards as she growled with the 'grrr sound while pointing towards Delo and Tori. 

Ban smiled after seeing her actions, "Alright, Let's go!"
