All My Summons Become Divine Girls
Chapter 630: The Honest Diagram
Chalk dust settled over the planning bench as Ferra flattened the captured route book against the drafting board.
Lantern light reflected off the brass calipers in her hand as she compared the ink lines with the drained reservoir walls.
Beside her, Hajin and Taren leaned over the layout, studying the intricate network of drainage culverts.
"Look at this primary overflow junction," Ferra muttered, tracing a sharp bronze stylus across the parchment grid.
"The imperial blueprint shows an open bypass pipe running straight into the lower rehearsal cavern."
"Is the bypass blocked by debris?" Hajin asked, crossing his arms as he analyzed the schematic lines.
"Worse than blocked... it is an engineered discharge trap," she answered with a grim scowl across her soot-stained face.
"If our strike team charged down that culvert as drawn on this map, five thousand tons of pressurized water would flush us into the abyss!"
"A deliberate lethal decoy left in the administrative archives," Taren remarked, his voice hardening with disgust.
"They anticipated someone might capture the official diagrams, so they left a false route to slaughter intruders."
Across the room, four conscripted maintenance workers stood shivering in wet tunics, clutching cups of warm herbal tea.
"You boys have worked these sluice gates for years," Ferra called out to the workers, waving them toward the drafting table.
"Come over here and tell me why this drawing does not match the physical pipe fittings outside in the corridor."
The senior mechanic, an older man with grease stained deep into his calloused knuckles, stepped forward hesitantly.
"The Choral architects changed the plumbing three months ago, lady smith," the old mechanic explained, pointing at a valve junction.
"They rerouted the high-pressure discharge through the secondary relief conduit to power their hydraulic siege pumps."
"If you want to reach the rehearsal chamber without drowning, you have to follow the dry inspection gallery along the eastern seam."
"Does the inspection gallery bypass their sentry posts?" Hajin inquired, leaning over the table to inspect the junction.
"It runs right beneath the guard barracks, but the acoustic insulation keeps the passage completely silent," the worker answered.
Ferra did not argue or attempt to defend the elegance of the original imperial blueprint she studied at the academy.
She handed her piece of chalk to the veteran mechanic with a firm, approving nod.
"Draw the real path," she told him firmly.
"An honest diagram that saves lives is worth ten thousand pretty drawings that lead to a graveyard."
The old mechanic took the chalk, marking the actual maintenance pathways across the board with steady, experienced strokes.
"This is the service valve, that section marks the emergency relief flue, and this line shows the expansion joint," the mechanic explained as he drew.
"The siege pumps generate immense heat during operation, so the foundation requires a continuous expansion joint to prevent cracking."
"An expansion joint running eighty yards along the bedrock," Ferra breathed, her eyes lighting up with professional awe.
While the mechanics detailed the hidden service catwalks, Hajin accessed his dimensional stream inventory to settle their scheduled logistics.
[ Stream store transaction: Routine field lot issued ]

[ 10x sanitation and comfort packs purchased: -300 Credits ]

Crates of hearty smoked meats, clean linen bandages, and folded wool blankets materialized onto the floor with soft thuds.
"These supplies are for you and your families," he announced, motioning for the conscripted mechanics to take the bundles.
"You gave us honest intelligence, and nobody under my banner leaves a conquered facility empty-handed."
The four workers stared at the abundant rations in stunned silence before bowing deeply with tears of relief.
"Thank you, lord summoner!" the senior mechanic choked out, clutching two bundles of fresh rations to his chest.
"We will guide our families through the mountain trail tonight and stay far away from the viaduct!"
"Take the southern trail past the old shrine," Taren advised them gently, "our scouts have already secured that crossing."
After the grateful workers departed into the shadows of the upper passage, Ferra tapped her stylus against the newly marked route.
"Look at where the inspection gallery intersects the main chamber," she said, her eyes gleaming with sudden technical realization.
"Right here along the eastern foundation... the Incarnation’s outer armored shell has an exposed structural seam!"
Hajin leaned in close, inspecting the exact geometric coordinates where two colossal foundation slabs met.
"A continuous exposed seam?" he murmured, a confident grin spreading across his face.
"A completely unshielded fracture line running eighty yards along the bedrock," she confirmed, tapping the chalk line.
"Their ward fields overlap everywhere else, but this single joint remains open to relieve thermal stress from the pumps."
"That is the exact physical geometry needed to unlock the Lever’s second seal," he realized, touching the artifact at his belt.
"If the Incarnation Wedge travels along that continuous seam, it can reach their primary fastening without touching foreign wards."
"Thirty seconds of continuous travel along an exposed seam," he calculated, feeling the artifact pulse against his hip.
"That gives me more than enough time to reach their primary hydraulic anchors and shatter them into scrap!"
"Exactly," Ferra grinned proudly, crossing her muscular arms across her soot-stained leather apron.
"You strike that seam tomorrow, shatter their hydraulic fastening, and open the gateway for the twins to raid the chamber!"
High above the subterranean cisterns, the celestial broadcast screen lit up with ecstatic cheering and a deluge of golden superchats.
[ Seoul_Tactician: "FERRA LISTENING TO LOCAL WORKERS! That is why she is the greatest craftsman in the world!" ]
[ StarlightScholar: "Hajin paying the mechanics with seventy thousand credits remaining. Our logistics king never misses!" ]
[ IronVanguard: "The Lever’s second seal is unlocked tomorrow! The continuous seam tactic is so brilliant!" ]
[ HearthKeeper: "Hajin has an eighty-yard seam and one wedge. Does he really need the whole length?" ]
[ ShadowMage44: "Rumi and Nari are waiting in the wings to blitz the rehearsal room, let’s go!" ]
[ NewViewer_02: "Eighty yards of unshielded bedrock seam... that is the cleanest infiltration vector possible!" ]
[ CringeSlayer91: "Smash those hydraulic anchors into dust! No mercy for the Choral puppets!" ]
The mechanics gathered their measuring rods and rolled up their reference charts, nodding with deep respect toward the summoner.
Rumi and Nari peeked into the maintenance room, their lynx ears twitching as they looked at the completed chalk diagram.
"Is the path ready, Ferra?" the elder twin purred, flexing her sharp claws with eager excitement.
"The path is ready," the smith answered, wiping chalk dust from her hands with a broad smile.
"Tomorrow morning, our summoner cuts their foundation wide open!"
"Are we going in with claws bared or sneaking through like alley cats?" Nari asked, adjusting her light bracers.
"We strike fast and clean," Hajin replied with a confident smirk, resting his hand against the Lever.
"Once the Wedge shatters their foundation anchor, you two seal their command officers before they can touch the emergency sirens."
"Consider them wrapped up in ribbons," Rumi beamed, purring with delighted mischief.
Hajin gripped the hilt of the Lever, feeling the ancient artifact hum with eager resonance in the quiet room.
"There is still a live conduit behind that wall," Ferra warned, circling a mark the captured plan concealed.
Hajin shifted the Wedge point away from the conduit, leaving enough stone around it to shield the workers evacuating the lower passage.
"Now the cut breaks their anchor without taking the gallery with it," he said, and Ferra checked the revised angle with her calipers.
The trap stood disarmed, the true path lay mapped across the board, and the strike against the rehearsal was primed for execution.
