Chapter 320: Who needs a blade ?

Chapter 320: Who needs a blade ?

“Rees… You have killed over five hundred thousand humans ?” Leon asked with a serious expression as he looked at him.

“Yes, Sir… But I will be more comfortable to tell you this in private.” Rees spoke as he looked at Leon.

“I am not interested in knowing it anyways. I just wanted to purpose a deal to your dungeon master, Mr. Michael Jackson.” Dreulis spoke with a neutral tone.

“What type of deal ?” Leon asked with a confused expression as he looked at Dreulis.

“I was thinking of teaching you some magical spells that you can use in a real fight instead of just running away while fighting… Are you interested ?” Dreulis asked.

“In return ?” Leon asked with a suspicious expression.

“In return maybe you can help me increase my knowledge of magic.” Dreulis replied.

“Increase your magic ? How ?”

“By letting him see your spells.” Rees cut in between.

“So you have also noticed it… Don’t you ? Hehehe.” Dreulis asked as he looked at Rees and chuckled.

“Master… He just wants to do the same thing that I was asking you from the moment we met. He wants to understand your magic and write it down in his grimoire.” Rees explained.

“Well… I wonder if you haven’t done it already ?” Dreulis asked.

“No… I lost a bet and now I can’t ask questions.” Rees replied.

“Why do you guys even want to study my magic ?” Leon asked with a smile as he went back to the wooden chair and sat down.

“We are lichs… We became undead in order to gain knowledge and you have lots of it, I can feel it.” Dreulis replied.

“Yeah don’t fall for that feeling… The more questions you ask this man, the more confused you will become. ” Rees replied as he looked at Dreulis.

“Hmm…? Those words are the first I have ever listened from a lich’s mouth and believe me, I am even more excited now. So, do you accept the deal, Mr. Michael Jackson ?” Dreulis asked.

“Let me think… One two three… I think it’s zero…” Leon spoke in a low voice.

“What’s zero ?” Dreulis asked in a confused tone.

“The fucks I give about learning new spells from you.” Leon replied with a smile as he looked at Dreulis.

“Wow… Hahahahaha… I am pretty sure you never heard those words from a Human’s mouth too. Hahahaha.” Rees spoke as he laughed loudly and mocked Dreulis with his words.

“Is there something you want to change in the deal ? It’s negotiable.” Dreulis replied as he tapped his wand on the floor and a wooden chair that was sitting in one of the room’s corner came sliding under him as he sat down on it.

“I don’t really want anything…” Leon replied with a smile as he looked at Dreulis.

“Oh everyone wants something Mr. Michael… Power, Money, knowledge or Status. It’s just either you don’t know what you want or you just don’t want me to know the secrets of your spells.

So… Which one is it ?”

“Back when I was in the library… I readed this book called ’Magic research and spell Evaluation’, do you know how a mage conducts research on a spell ?

By casting it repeatedly and analyzing it’s mana pattern changes… Now you are purposing a deal in which you want to teach me some third class bullshit spell just so you can observe my mana patterns, isn’t that right ?” Leon asked with a smirk.

“Fine then… I will offer you something that you won’t be able to decline.”

’Hmm… A spell that works with a sacrifice and not mana. What the fuck is Ketons ?’ Leon thought with a confused expression as he continued to stare at the description screen.

“Umm… Are you looking at this ?” Dreulis asked as he showed a dark red blade to Leon.

“Hmm…? What’s this ?” Leon asked with a confused expression as he immediately used his skill.

“Burning damage to it’s opponents and kills them overtime. I don’t want it. I have my own weapon.” Leon replied with a neutral expression.

“Amazing… Did you figured all that out just by looking at this blade or did you use some kind of skill to extract information on this ?” Dreulis asked with a curious expression.

“I don’t want it… Dreulis.” Leon spoke as he looked at Dreulis dead in the eyes.

“Hmm… Fine, if you don’t want the blade. I will give you something else…” Dreulis spoke as the blade disappeared from his hand and he started to search for something else inside his robe.
