The Bone Blade was aimed straight for the monster’s face, but the impact felt like it had cut through empty air.

The monster before her blurred into a double image. It let out a piercing shriek and lunged at Feng Ling!

Feng Ling realized instantly that the poison from the scale powder had robbed her of her precision.

There was no time to think. The monster had already charged!

’I appreciate the thought,’ Feng Ling thought, ’but I’m really not good at fighting in a crowd!’

Unable to use her Spiritual Suppression and wary of the monster scattering its scale powder again, Feng Ling summoned all her strength, thrusting all her appendages toward the monster before her!

This time, she felt a solid impact!

Where the wings connected to its spine, the Teeth and Claws tore open two deep gashes. The wounds were wrenched wider and wider with every movement.

Crimson blood streamed down the tattered wings.

It could have prevented the wounds from widening by simply stopping or crouching down.

And yet, as if it had lost its mind, it just kept backing away!

Feng Ling’s mind reeled with shock and doubt. Her four Teeth and Claws were pulled taut, their internal structures groaning under the strain.

She could only watch as she tore the two wings completely off!

The monster had lost its wings.

With a final, agonized wail, it staggered back several meters, vibrant red blood splashing across the ground!

’To Feng Ling, it looked like a suicidal retreat. ’Could it have retained some shred of reason? Was it deliberately trying to die?’

Feng Ling released her Teeth and Claws, watching with a stunned expression as the monster writhed in agony before her.

At this point, there was hardly a patch of intact skin left on its back; raw, red flesh was exposed to the open air.

A torrent of blood gushed out, soaking its long hair and obscuring its features.

Even the melted snow had been vaporized by the fire.

The gigantic, terrifying monster stood on the scorched earth, its gaze fixed on Feng Ling.
