Chapter 376: Chapter 202: Deeply Hidden, Endless Trump Cards

BOOM!

A piercing sonic boom marked the start of the battle.

Fei Xian instantly closed in on Pei Ze, his claws descending with a ferocious intent to shred everything in their path.

Calm and unhurried, Pei Ze threw a punch of his own.

Fist and claw collided violently in mid-air, unleashing a visible ripple of shockwaves that spread out in all directions from the point of impact.

The ground beneath their feet instantly sank, forming a crater nearly three meters deep and over a hundred meters in diameter.

The dislodged rubble was blasted into charred dust by lightning before it could even fly outward, then sliced into even finer particles by an invisible tearing force until it vanished from sight!

SHING!

Fei Xian’s tail shot out from behind him, stabbing toward Pei Ze’s head like a bolt of lightning.

However, just as the spike at the tip of the tail was about to hit Pei Ze, a dark shadow appeared silently, blocking it in the nick of time.

PFFT!

After a faint, strange sound, the shadow shattered and dispersed as if it had been sliced a thousand times in an instant. The tail, having lost its power, retracted.

Sensing something was wrong, Fei Xian glanced over and saw that a section at the tip of his tail had turned a dull gray, as if it had been corroded.

His heart skipped a beat. He immediately looked toward where the shadow had dispersed, just in time to see it reform into a pitch-black raven.

’A demonic pet? No, that’s not right. What kind of demonic pet is this powerful? It actually took that last hit head-on!’

’And this feeling... It’s the Power of Death! No, it feels a bit like the Power of Shadow, too!’

Fei Xian was filled with shock and uncertainty.

He had never seen such a bizarre creature. Its aura was complex, as if it commanded multiple types of power, yet they were all fused together perfectly without any conflict.

’What in the world is going on?’

Unfortunately for him, Pei Ze had no intention of explaining. With a raise of his hand, countless metal spikes detached from his body and shot toward Fei Xian, crackling with lightning.

Fei Xian’s heart went cold. Not daring to be distracted any longer, he fearlessly charged forward to meet the attack.

BOOM! BOOM!

Deafening roars echoed endlessly. Both fighters had tacitly chosen to clash head-on without any finesse—power against power, brute force against brute force. They fought like two prehistoric beasts in a ferocious struggle, the sheer scale of it astonishing.

Outside the Tower of the Holy Ring, the crowd of eliminated Wizards watched, their eyes wide and their jaws agape.

They had never imagined that a battle between Level 3 Wizards could be this terrifying!

’Even Elemental Mages probably aren’t much more impressive than this, are they?’

"Are those two really Level 3 Wizards?"

"This is just too exaggerated."

"If I were up there, I probably wouldn’t last a single exchange."

The crowd gasped in endless amazement, yet they couldn’t bear to look away for even a second. They stared at the screen without blinking, subconsciously holding their breath as if afraid to disturb the fight.

Gong Quanhai stared blankly at the screen, his heart filled with dejection and disappointment.

’I thought I’d already seen the full extent of Pei Ze’s power, but I still underestimated him.’

’This level of strength... I’m no match for it at all!’

’Looking back now, my presumptuous thoughts back then were truly laughable.’

Beside him, Yin Yao saw the expression on his friend’s face and sighed inwardly.

He could understand Gong Quanhai’s earlier thoughts. After all, any normal person would find it impossible to believe that a Level 3 Wizard who had just advanced not long ago could be this powerful.

’It’s truly unbelievable!’

"I wonder who will win?"

"They look evenly matched."

"Fei Xian’s bloodline manifestation form consumes a lot of energy. Pei Ze’s is probably similar. Now it’s a matter of who gives out first."

"That’s right. Whoever can last until the end will be the winner."

It sounded like a pointless statement at first, but the logic was solid.

When opponents are of similar strength, a battle often turns into a war of attrition. The contest then becomes about who can endure the longest.

While the crowd was buzzing with discussion, the battle in the arena only grew more intense.

Scorching lightning and the invisible tearing force raged against each other, reducing the massive arena to near rubble.

The longer Fei Xian fought, the more alarmed he became. He never expected that even after going all out, he still couldn’t defeat Pei Ze.

’I was saving this trump card, my bloodline manifestation, for Wen Huachun.’

’I was confident that even Wen Huachun, who has mastered the Heart of Elements, would be no match for me in my bloodline manifestation form.’

’But for all my careful planning, I never expected a dark horse like Pei Ze to show up out of nowhere.’

’My bloodline manifestation form consumes too much energy. I can only hold out for about ten more minutes at most.’

Fei Xian grew anxious.

But just then, Pei Ze, who had been locked in close combat with him, suddenly pulled back and retreated.

Fei Xian froze for a moment, then his heart leaped with joy.

’Is he finally at his limit?!’

Seeing this, the spectating crowd erupted in a commotion, all of them widening their eyes to get a better look.

’Could it be that Pei Ze is about to lose?’

’In the end, I’m still the one who wins!’

A flash of delight crossed Fei Xian’s eyes. Unwilling to give Pei Ze a chance to catch his breath, he charged forward in pursuit without hesitation and let out a laugh.

"It’s time to end this!"

"Indeed. It is time this came to an end."

Pei Ze’s eerie words floated out from beneath his Thunder Armor, making Fei Xian’s heart pound as a bad feeling suddenly washed over him.

Before he could figure out the source of his unease, he saw a silver light flash from beneath Pei Ze’s Thunder Armor, a gleam that even the brilliant lightning couldn’t completely conceal.

In the next instant, a brilliant blue-white light flared from Pei Ze’s body. The already imposing and majestic Thunder Armor instantly swelled, growing even larger.

The uniquely violent aura of lightning spread out, so intense that even Fei Xian could feel his skin tingle, and his heart filled with terror.
