Chapter 359: Chapter 197: The Limit of Level 3 Crystallization, the Path After Legendary Knight
Gu Yi: "..."
For a moment, he didn’t know what to say.
Although he wasn’t a Tier Nine Legend yet, his strength as a Tier Seven on the verge of becoming a Tier Eight Legend was still utterly shocking.
Most Wizards focused on strengthening their bodies while researching Magic, so they rarely had any weaknesses. However, someone like Pei Ze—a Level 3 Crystalized Wizard who was also a Knight about to break through to Tier Eight Legend—was completely unheard of.
It seemed that not even the Chosen could reach such a level.
Gu Yi couldn’t help but marvel inwardly. ’Mo Weng’s disciple really knows how to surprise people.’
"It seems you’ll be able to attempt your advancement soon," Mo Weng said, a gratified expression on his face.
Pei Ze offered a slight smile and said nothing.
’My physical constitution alone shocked Mo Weng and Gu Yi this much,’ Pei Ze thought. ’If I told them my Spiritual Power has already reached the limit for a Level 3 Crystalized Wizard and that I’ve mastered the Heart of Elements, they’d probably jump out of their skins.’
Pei Ze considered this for a moment and decided it was better to keep a low profile.
Mo Weng cleared his throat and continued answering Pei Ze’s question.
"After a Knight reaches Tier Nine Legend, if they wish to advance further, they must undergo physical elementalization."
"Physical elementalization?" Pei Ze was taken aback for a second. "Isn’t that similar to igniting the Elemental Fire?"
"Indeed, it is," Mo Weng said with a slight nod. "However, when a Wizard ignites the Elemental Fire, their Spirit’s elementalization drives the elementalization of their body. It’s an example of the spirit influencing matter. A Legendary Knight, on the other hand, undergoes a pure physical elementalization. The change in power brought about by these two methods is on completely different levels."
Pei Ze grew thoughtful. ’I didn’t expect the advancement method for a Legendary Knight to be so similar to an Elemental Mage’s.’
’Then again, it makes sense,’ he mused. ’There are countless power systems in the Multiverse, but once you reach a certain level, they all converge toward the same end.’
’For instance, above the sixth level, no matter which power system one cultivates, it ultimately falls within the scope of controlling principles.’
Mo Weng continued, "A Knight who has completed their physical elementalization gains a massive boost in their control over elemental power. They become immune to most physical damage, and their resistance to Magic, especially to corresponding Elemental Magic, is also significantly enhanced."
"In terms of strength, they can’t match an Elemental Mage, but they far surpass an ordinary Level 3 Crystalized Wizard."
"And this type of Knight is known as a Dawn Star Knight."
Pei Ze nodded in understanding.
’A breakthrough into a new major realm always means a massive surge in power.’
’A Tier Nine Legendary Knight’s combat strength is roughly equivalent to a Level 3 Gaseous Wizard. But once they advance to become a Dawn Star Knight, their strength surpasses that of a typical Level 3 Crystalized Wizard. It’s the same principle.’
Suddenly, a question occurred to Pei Ze.
"Teacher, when a Wizard ignites the Elemental Fire, their body also completes its elementalization. Does that mean they have effectively become a Dawn Star Knight?"
"You could say that," Mo Weng replied. "In fact, every Elemental Mage is also a Dawn Star Knight. And because of their elementalized advancement, their control over elemental power far surpasses that of a regular Dawn Star Knight."
"However, this doesn’t mean that strengthening your body before igniting the Elemental Fire is unimportant."
"The stronger your physical body is when it undergoes elementalization, the higher your chances of successfully igniting the Elemental Fire. Moreover, your future progress in elementalization will also be faster than other Wizards. The benefits are numerous."
A look of realization dawned on Pei Ze.
’So, it’s very beneficial to strengthen my body as much as possible before igniting the Elemental Fire.’
’Looks like I should focus on breaking through to Tier Nine Legend before I consider igniting the Elemental Fire.’
At the same time, Pei Ze couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder.
’Even if a Wizard doesn’t focus much on strengthening their body, just by igniting the Elemental Fire, they can achieve the physical elementalization that Legendary Knights dream of.’
’This must be one of the reasons why the Wizard system is said to crush the Knight system in terms of growth and potential.’
