Chapter 331: Chapter 189: Advancing to Level 2 Crystallization, a Higher-Level Realm of Truth

Pei Ze stepped out of his room and into the underground hall. With a mere thought, Silver Star instantly melted off his wrist, forming a ball of liquid metal that hovered in the air before him.

After his breakthrough to the Level 2 Crystalization Stage, Pei Ze had immediately supplied the final standard unit of the metal combination, successfully evolving Silver Star into a Tier Four Witchcraft Artifact.

At his current Spiritual Power level, he was already capable of using a Tier Four Witchcraft Artifact as a conventional weapon.

After all, the vast majority of Level 2 Crystalized Wizards could, at most, only use Tier Three Witchcraft Artifacts.

Even a Wizard like Yin Xue, who cultivated a top-tier Advanced Meditation Technique, could only control a Tier Four Witchcraft Artifact for a short time during the Level 2 Crystalization Stage.

Among Second-level Wizards capable of using a Tier Four Witchcraft Artifact as a conventional weapon, besides a few exceptionally gifted direct descendants of Rule Wizards, there was only him—the one who was basically cheating.

He had long since calculated the metal combination required to evolve Silver Star to Tier Five.

A single standard unit of the new metal combination cost 100 Magic Crystal Stones, equivalent to one hundred thousand Magic Stone Coins.

And for Silver Star to evolve into a Tier Five Witchcraft Artifact, it needed to absorb a total of fifty-five standard units of the metal combination, which came out to 5,500 Magic Crystal Stones.

Pei Ze was taken aback when he calculated this price.

After all, 5,500 Magic Crystal Stones was over five million Magic Stone Coins!

But on second thought, if he could get a Tier Five Witchcraft Artifact for 5,500 Magic Crystal Stones, it would be well worth it.

At an auction house, that many Magic Crystal Stones might not even cover a fraction of a Tier Five Witchcraft Artifact’s final sale price.

’5,500 Magic Crystal Stones... It would take a very long time to earn that much just by selling potions.’

Pei Ze mused to himself.

No wonder not a single one of the Level 3 Wizards he had met so far possessed a Tier Five Witchcraft Artifact.

Few of them even wielded Tier Four Witchcraft Artifacts.

Ultimately, it was because high-tier witchcraft artifacts were too expensive and exceedingly rare; most had a price tag but were impossible to find on the market.

If he hadn’t started cultivating and evolving Silver Star back when he was a First-level Wizard, even finding a Tier Four Witchcraft Artifact now would likely be difficult.

Pei Ze ran a test. The evolved Silver Star could now handle a load of more than 130 Lightning Runes. On top of that, his breakthrough to the Level 2 Crystalization Stage had greatly enhanced his physique. Now, when fused with Silver Star, he could withstand more than three hundred Lightning Runes.

If he activated his Silver Body, the number of Lightning Runes would soar to over four hundred.

To say nothing of what would happen if he burned his Silver Body.

’Before the Battle of the Holy Ring, I should strengthen Silver Star to the critical +54 level.’

Pei Ze made his decision.

An ordinary Level 3 Crystalized Wizard could only barely control a Tier Five Witchcraft Artifact.

Even he would have to advance to a Level 3 Wizard before he could use a Tier Five Witchcraft Artifact.

To use it as a conventional weapon, he would have to wait until he reached the Level 3 Liquefaction stage.

Until then, strengthening Silver Star to Tier Four +54 was the best choice.

’All that’s left is to wait to enter the Realm of Truth.’

...

Just as Mo Weng had said, the Council’s notice reached Pei Ze only half a month later.

He could now enter the Realm of Truth.

The moment he received the notice, Pei Ze went to the very center of the Inner City, to a magnificent complex of buildings situated at the base of over a hundred Wizard Towers.

Led by an officer from the Wizard Management Department, Pei Ze soon arrived before a tall, spire-shaped building.

Before he could even step through the entrance, a figure flashed before his eyes, and Mo Weng appeared out of thin air.

After dismissing the officer with a wave, Mo Weng glanced at Pei Ze, then turned and walked into the building.

"Follow me."

Pei Ze immediately followed.

One after the other, they passed through the gate and onto a spiral staircase. They climbed for a good ten minutes before arriving in a spacious grand hall.

The grand hall was constructed entirely from blue-gray rock. There were no visible seams between the stones, making it seem as if the entire hall had been carved from a single, massive block.

There wasn’t a single Magic Stone Lamp in the hall. The only light source was a silver Light Gate standing in the center, within which a silver vortex slowly swirled.
