Additionally, the chitinous exoskeletons, fangs, and various sacs of Red Soldier Insects could also be used as enchanting materials, giving them a certain value.

A complete Red Soldier Insect corpse was worth at least thirty or forty Magic Stone Coins, and could even go for as much as a hundred.

He tossed a Dark Stone into it, and Tining’s figure quickly appeared on the surface of the water.

After the transaction was complete, Tining immediately picked up a bottle of Wood Spirit Potion and waved toward the distance.

Accompanied by the sound of hooves, a creature resembling an elk staggered into view on the water’s surface.

Its back, flank, and hind legs bore shocking wounds, as if torn by the claws and teeth of some wild beast. In some places, the wounds were so deep that pale bone was visible.

This Ancient Tree Deer Spirit couldn’t help but let out a pained whimper after taking only a few steps.

Tining’s expression filled with heartache. She knelt down and gently stroked her companion’s head, whispering, "Don’t worry. It will be alright soon."

A joyful smile instantly spread across Tining’s face as she watched.

Tining was taken aback. "That’s enough?" she asked in surprise.

"It’s enough," Pei Ze replied with a warm smile.

At his words, Tining’s expression grew even more joyful. "Then I’ll go have my kinsfolk bring them over right now!" she said hurriedly.

The second trade ritual commenced. To Pei Ze’s surprise, more than five hundred insect corpses came through, most of which were completely intact.

This gave Pei Ze a newfound respect for the strength of the Ancient Tree Deer Spirit Race.

’To have this many intact corpses... that means the Ancient Tree Deer Spirit Race must have killed at least three or four thousand Red Soldier Insects. They’re certainly not weak.’
