Chapter 1250

Chapter 1250: Chapter 1253: The Supreme Seat of Authority_1 Chapter 1250: Chapter 1253: The Supreme Seat of Authority_1 Influenced by Lin Zhen’s impressive display with Wan Ren Mountain, Baozi had conceded to addressing Lin Zhen as his older brother.

Following their transformation to a chubby child, Baozi now obediently followed behind Lin Zhen.

“What should I call you, Brother?”

“Lin Zhen!”

“Alright, Brother Lin, I will lead you to Illusion Town now.”

Baozi was sharp and after witnessing Lin Zhen’s striking display with Wan Ren Mountain, was convinced that Lin Zhen was no ordinary Quasi-sovereign.

Even Martial Artists who had reached the Quasi-sovereign level wouldn’t necessarily have such powerful arms, especially top-quality Domain Armaments, which not all Sovereign Strongmen possessed.

This demonstrated that Lin Zhen was indeed very formidable.

Following such a powerful figure, Baozi felt emboldened.

His round body straightened up and he started leading the way with big strides.

“Brother, we need to move quickly.

Illusion Town is quite far from here.

If you can’t keep up with my pace, just let me know…a slight slowdown is possible…Ah!”

Baozi was trying to flaunt his speed in front of Lin Zhen to prove that he wasn’t useless.

Being a planet in his original form, he had the innate ability to cover a planet’s span in a single step.

If he were to start running, his speed could approach the speed of light, a feat unimaginable in the Cosmic Forbidden Land where both Space Power and gravity are incredibly powerful.

Unless someone could use Space laws within the Forbidden Land, only light pursuers could match his speed.

But Lin Zhen is no light pursuer, so Baozi was confident that he could surpass Lin Zhen in speed and not let his ‘Big Brother’ look down on him.

However, before he finished speaking, he turned to see Lin Zhen walking casually behind him without showing any signs of strain.

This unexpected sight startled Baozi who prided himself on his incredible Energy and unmatched speed.

“Brother Lin, h-how…how did you keep up?”

“Just keep walking.

If even you can’t keep up, there’s no point in being the ‘Big Brother’.”

Lin Zhen walked past Baozi who hurriedly caught up.

Despite Baozi covering a planet’s span in each step, he still had trouble keeping up with Lin Zhen, whose movements seemed to resonate with an arcane Space law.

At this point, Baozi was completely bowled over.

Initially, Lin Zhen displayed strong arms, but that was external power.

His way of walking, however, was a direct manifestation of his true strength.

“Space Power, oh my goodness!

My big brother can actually use Space Power!”

Baozi followed behind Lin Zhen, his mouth ajar in awe and surprise, looking very much like a country bumpkin.

Their speed was so fast that before they knew it, they had already covered millions of kilometers.

As they continued to move, their surroundings gradually began to change.

In the sky, Auroras flashed in and out of existence while eighty-one planet-like celestial bodies floated.

“Brother Lin, these eighty-one small mountains represent the positions of the eighty-one Sovereigns and are the foundation of Illusion Town.”

Upon the closer inspection, Lin Zhen noticed the mysterious connections between these eighty-one mountains.

Under these little mountains, a misty veil was seen.

Within the mist, a small town shimmered like a mirage.

Even with Lin Zhen’s Spiritual Power, it was hard to differentiate if this town was real or simply an illusion.

“Does this town…actually exist?”

“No, it doesn’t.

Entering the town, one becomes an energy construct of their spiritual consciousness, supplemented by the power of the Sovereign’s positions.

Any Quasi-sovereign here will be unable to use their full power.

Anyone who enters will have their ability suppressed to slightly stronger than a normal person…Well…at most, they’ll be at War God Level.”

Lin Zhen nodded.

Upon closer inspection, he found the town to be incredibly profound and boundless despite its seemingly small size.

“Are there any requirements to enter the town?”

“Indeed, there are.

To enter the town once requires the payment of one High Grade Armament as an entrance fee.

If one is defeated and banished from the Illusion Town, they cannot retrieve the armament.”

Lin Zhen was taken aback.

High Grade Armaments were valuable.

If one were to lose a few more times, bankruptcy may be an actual possibility.

However, Lin Zhen had scored substantial gains in his last venture, donating most of the Armaments he acquired then, with the exception of the Eight Hammers from the Eight Great Hammers which he kept.

Now was a good time to put them to use.

At this point, Baozi was eagerly awaiting Lin Zhen’s decision, hoping to enter the town together with him.

Lin Zhen didn’t know much about Illusion Town, so having Baozi guide him was useful.

“Why don’t we see any other Quasi-sovereigns around?”

“They must be inside Illusion Town.

Upon entering, the Sovereign positions will automatically transport the Quasi-sovereigns to the God Realm.

They don’t exist in this space unless they are expelled.

It is rare to see individuals.”

As soon as Baozi finished speaking, a spatial flux occurred in front of them.

A tall man who looked incredibly fierce appeared, grumbling in vexation.

“Damn!

I have such bad luck; I ran into Crazy Dog Harry.

I’ve lost the armament for this round.”

As soon as the man finished speaking, he noticed Baozi and Lin Zhen.

“Hey!

How unusual.

Baozi, who is bullied every time someone sees him, dares to return to Illusion Town.

Do you have a new High Grade Armament?”

Initially, Baozi was a bit frightened upon seeing this man.

However, as soon as he saw Lin Zhen standing strong as a sword, his courage returned.

“Riggs, you also got expelled?

Hahaha!

Serves you right.

You and your friends never stopped bullying me.”

The Quasi-sovereign named Riggs rolled his eyes, “Stop blabbering, loser, and bring me a High Grade Armament immediately.

Otherwise, I’ll PK you right here!”

Baozi glared at him in defiance, “Dream on!

My big brother is here today.

If you’re smart, you’ll leave immediately!”

Riggs glanced at Lin Zhen, “Humph!

There are too many frogs in the well everywhere.

Which grade of ‘big brother’ is this whippersnapper?

Does he even qualify to rank within top ten thousand on the Heaven Stele?

I’ve never seen him before.”

The Quasi-sovereigns who had been here for countless years were familiar with the higher-ranked ones.

They cared little about new faces like Lin Zhen.

Baozi then leaned in to whisper in Lin Zhen’s ear, “Big brother, Riggs is bad news.

He ranks around 48,000 on the Heaven Stele and his strength isn’t bad.
