Ge Dong looked at all the men from the Xia family. He did not know who Xia Yuan was. Ge Hong had never introduced them before!

“Of course I know him!” Ge Dong hesitated for a moment before pointing at Xia Wen and saying, “That’s him! He’s Xia Yuan! Of course I remember him!”

“Oh this. I lost it some time back and had already made a missing item report to my workplace. It was lost four years ago. My report should still be in the archives now. So it was stolen by someone from your family,” Xia Wen said.

“Nonsense! You clearly gave this to my daughter!” Ge Dong said hesitantly.

“I think you should stop being so unreasonable here. There’s no benefit in doing this. Since everyone is here today, I might as well make things even clearer. It’s absolutely impossible for Xia Yuan to marry a member of the Ge family. From now on, the relationship between our Xia family and the Ge family is over. Let’s go our separate ways and not contact each other anymore,” Qiao Mei said firmly.
