Shen Qingqiu nodded without saying anything else. She could tell Xu Yingjun wasn’t interested in that.

Shen Qingqiu didn’t think much of Cheng Shukai tutoring Xu Yingjun.

They were all young university students. If feelings blossomed during the tutoring sessions, it would only interfere with her graduate exam prep.

’This guy knows English, too?’

"He’s the teacher you found?"

"No, but Brother Jiang does."

"Knowing English and knowing graduate entrance exam English are two different things. Jiaoda gets to set its own cutoff scores, you know. Why don’t you let me do it? I’m a bit more familiar with this area."

"Brother Jiang’s English is very good. I won’t trouble you, senior."

Xu Yingjun smoothed down her hair and looked at Shen Qingqiu.

"It’s a book I picked out for you two. I think the content is pretty good."

"This one’s way too difficult. It’s not right for them."

"Not right for them? I think it’s fine."

"Let me be honest with you, I’ve seen this book before. I’ve already been accepted into a graduate program, and even I can’t understand a lot of the content. It’s definitely not suitable for them," Cheng Shukai said.

"You can’t just pick a book because it looks advanced. This is why specialized tasks should be left to the experts. Teacher Shen and I should be the ones to choose."

"I didn’t pick it because of the title. I actually looked at the content."

"Are you sure you can understand it?"

Cheng Shukai’s expression was disdainful. "Even I can’t understand it, and I’ve already been accepted into the grad program."

"Did you get accepted into Jiaoda’s graduate program?"

Cheng Shukai puffed out his chest. "Of course."

"I find that hard to believe. Jiaoda is a top-tier university. You got accepted into your own school’s grad program and you still can’t understand these problems?"

Cheng Shukai, who had been so arrogant just a moment before, suddenly paled.

"You can understand it?"

"I had some time to kill, so I already finished one of the tests."

As he spoke, Lin Jiang opened the book and said:
