Chapter 2395: Chapter 606: The Strongest Is Already Among Us

"Hey, Tin Man, don’t joke around with kids."

Huang Kaiwen said with a playful scold.

Green Arrow might as well be called Green Hat; his girlfriend got together with his best buddy, and he still looks heartbroken about his girlfriend while caring for his bro.

That’s one of the more pitiful superheroes out there.

Cech didn’t mind and asked, "What’s your superpower?"

"I’m rich."

Huang Kaiwen replied.

Cech followed with a hearty laugh.

Then Cech said, "You won’t believe it, that punk Cole was hanging with Inzaghi. They both got drunk yesterday and actually crashed at Cobham overnight. Both got booted to the youth team by Carlo."

"Filippo too?"

Huang Kaiwen asked curiously.

"Yeah, but Carlo later admitted he forgot he wasn’t the Milan coach. Inzaghi took off afterward though."

Cech said with a grin.

"That’s why Filippo looked so messed up in the stands today."

Huang Kaiwen observed.

Modric and Bale came over to join the fun.

With more people, George wasn’t quite ready.

Kids don’t handle pressure well; trying to show off in front of adults can lead to stuff like this.

"Kevin!"

Terry waved and walked over.

George immediately drew his bow aimed at his dad.

Terry raised his hands with a laugh and said, "Ease up, Robin Hood, the strong should protect the weak, not bully them."

"Not bad, John, you actually quoted ’Robin Hood’!"

Huang Kaiwen whistled and said.

"Don’t think I’m that simple-minded." Terry chuckled.

At this moment, George couldn’t hold the bow anymore and released the string with his right hand.

Swoosh—

The arrow sliced through the air with a sound, accompanied by Terry’s scream.

Everyone rushed over immediately.

Terry lay on the ground wailing, "I’m done for, I’m done, I don’t want to live anymore."

The pain near his thigh made Terry extremely distressed, as it was his most vital area.

Huang Kaiwen reached over, touched it, and just pulled the arrow out.

As Terry howled, Huang Kaiwen snapped, "It just grazed your thigh, George’s shot didn’t hit that spot at all."

Terry quickly pulled down his pants to check, touched it, and realized it just scraped the skin off his thigh, and he breathed a sigh of relief.

Turning to George, he yelled, "Kid, you’re not allowed to touch such dangerous things again!"

George looked pitifully at Huang Kaiwen.

Huang Kaiwen shrugged and said, "Your dad’s right. If luck wasn’t on your side, you wouldn’t see his tabloid stories anymore."

Terry punched Huang Kaiwen playfully and said, "I gotta go put on some ointment."

"Toni’s upstairs, let her help you out."

Huang Kaiwen replied.

"Hey, I’m injured, you know."

Terry complained.

"So what? Want me to call Jordan to help you?"

Huang Kaiwen asked.

"Shhh!"

Terry immediately put a finger to his lips.

Huang Kaiwen rolled his eyes.

A casual mention turned out to have real connections.

He really admired Jordan; she seemed to have gotten involved with any somewhat famous footballer.

Huang Kaiwen wondered if a situation might arise.

Like one night, Jordan suddenly saying: you’re way worse than XX from XX team.

But the private lives of these England internationals are indeed quite chaotic.

Terry had even mentioned when smartphones with cameras first came out, he and a bunch around Ferdinand recorded videos to share with each other.

When Terry left.

Huang Kaiwen pulled George aside and said, "Kiddo, you almost hurt your dad."

"I’m sorry."

George softly said.

Huang Kaiwen rubbed the top of his head and said, "That’s an apology you should be giving to your dad."

"Humph!"

George turned his head away.

Huang Kaiwen pulled him to sit down and said, "Your dad is a bit... unique, but that’s no reason for you to shoot him with an arrow. You’re already eight years old; think of those kids who don’t have enough to eat. You have a very blessed life, and it’s all thanks to your dad."

"I understand, Uncle Kevin."

George pouted and said, "I’ll apologize."

"Now that’s what a responsible man would do."

Huang Kaiwen smiled and patted George on the back and said, "Go on, have a good talk with your dad."

"Maybe you should be an elementary school teacher. If my elementary school teacher was like you, I might have gone on to be a scientist."

Cech chimed in.

"You wanted to be a scientist as a kid?"

Huang Kaiwen asked.

"No, a hockey player."

Cech said, "I didn’t have a big star dad to buy me fancy gear, so I went with football instead."

"But playing hockey wouldn’t have made you this wealthy."

Huang Kaiwen remarked.

"Exactly, so I don’t regret it."

Cech said, "Football changed my destiny."

"Let’s get ready for the barbecue. With your height, not taking charge of the barbecue would be a waste."

Huang Kaiwen stood up and said.

Cech promptly flipped him the bird.

He realized one thing: eating with Huang Kaiwen, the guy never lifts a finger.

Once it was cooked, Huntelaar quickly carried a plate over to Huang Kaiwen.

"Thanks, mate."

Huang Kaiwen said.

Standing by the grill, Cech rolled his eyes and playfully shouted, "Turkish kebabs, Turkish kebabs..."

A lot of people burst into laughter.

Mention that country, and people always think of kebabs.

Terry, holding a wine bottle, sat down next to Huang Kaiwen, "George is really rebellious these days."

"Maybe you’re not a great role model? You can’t blame all the issues on the kid."

Huang Kaiwen suggested.

Terry, not wanting to dwell, switched topics, "This season’s tough to play, Carlo wants midfielders, but Kenyon’s ideas for signings are quite different from his."
