Chapter 191: I’m ’Hungry’ Too

Hu Yan just smiled faintly, then slammed the door shut with a BANG.

Sang Mo didn’t seem to mind. After staring at the door for a few seconds, he stuck his hands in his pockets and slowly walked away.

Hu Yan then entered Bai Zhi’s spirit sea directly. He used his spiritual power to weave a net, blanketing the entire room so no sound could escape or enter.

He was completely cutting off any possibility of being disturbed.

Bai Zhi jumped at his sudden voice, her body instinctively recoiling. Hu Yan reached out and pulled her back.

She tumbled right into his arms. The moment she looked up, she met his light blue eyes, which were filled with amusement. Realizing what he had just asked, she felt the acute embarrassment of being caught and stammered, "Wh-when did you wake up?"

Hu Yan smiled. "Before you did."

Bai Zhi: "..."

’In other words, he knows everything I did after I woke up.’

Bai Zhi: "If you were awake, why didn’t you open your eyes?"

His voice was laced with laughter. "I was about to, but you seemed so interested in my face. I was afraid that if I opened my eyes, you’d get shy and stop looking. So, I just kept them closed to let you get your fill. It’s a shame, though. All you did was look. I was rather hoping you’d..."

Hu Yan’s expression was one of slight regret. Before he could finish, Bai Zhi had already clapped a hand over his mouth.

’I never knew Hu Yan could be this wicked!’

She didn’t need to think to guess what he was ’hoping’ she would do!

Bai Zhi quickly changed the subject. "I’m a little hungry."

She started to get up as she spoke, but before she could even sit up, a figure loomed over her.

Hu Yan braced his hands on either side of her, his light blue eyes filled with lust. "I’m hungry too," he said, his voice deep and raspy.

Bai Zhi saw his intention and frantically pressed her hands against him. "That’s not the kind of hungry I meant—"

But she never got to finish her sentence before her words were smothered.

Around noon, Yue Junxiao asked doubtfully, "Aren’t Bai Zhi and Hu Yan going to eat lunch? Why aren’t they up yet?"

Lang Qiu glanced upstairs. "I doubt they’re coming down to eat. Let’s eat first."

Yue Junxiao sat cross-legged on the sofa, propping his head in his hand. "I heard knocking several times last night. Don’t tell me you guys went looking for Bai Zhi too?"

Sang Mo looked at him. "Is there a problem?"

Lang Qiu glanced over as well.

Yan Yichen nodded sheepishly and looked at Sang Mo and the others. "I figured since it’s the weekend, I’d give it a shot. What if she said yes? I didn’t expect everyone else to have the same idea."

Seeing this, Yue Junxiao said in surprise, "You all went?"

Once the food arrived, Bai Zhi caught a whiff of the aroma and had no time for other thoughts. She immediately started digging in.

Just as she was halfway through her meal, a series of BANGS and the sound of things breaking suddenly came from outside.
