Chapter 533: Happy Event

Watching their captain’s overwhelmingly powerful Attack Power, the morale of the Stellarys Team was completely ignited.

"I see. A combination of the Fire and Earth Element Superpowers?"

Adrian Paige had already stopped in his tracks.

For Dual Element Superpower Users, their two Superpowers usually had varying strengths and weaknesses, or were completely separate from each other. This was the first time he had seen a Dual Element Superpower User combine and transition between them so seamlessly.

"Tsk, I knew she must have improved a lot after coming back this time."

After Chester Pearson said that, he also condensed multiple Fireballs and joined the battle.

"It’s not just Nina Jacobs; the entire Stellarys Team has improved significantly."

Myra Lawson used an Ice Shield to block a Stone Spike for two rescue team members.

Elara Dolan was also a Fire Element Superpower User, and Nina had already taught her how to use the Liaoyuan Crystals.

Elara nodded, took out two Liaoyuan Crystals, and threw them along with her Fireballs toward two different directions below...

The city gates of the City D Base remained open all day.

People waited anxiously at the gates. It wasn’t until dusk that someone from the base’s Control Room ran over excitedly to make an announcement.

They were back.

"They’re finally back, oh my precious VIP."

Isaac Leopold breathed a sigh of relief.

"Mr. Leopold, you are being overly nervous."

Adrian Shaw smiled.

"You’re not nervous? Then why are you waiting here in this freezing weather?

"I’m on a mission. If anything happens to that guy, I won’t even need to go back," Isaac said.

"With our friend tagging along, your precious VIP definitely won’t run into any trouble."

The voice came from a person standing behind Adrian Shaw, wearing several layers of heavy padded coats, a trapper hat, and a thick mask.

"I say, Shirley, you’re way too weak, boy. What kind of grown man bundles up like you do? ACHOO!" Isaac sneezed violently after speaking.

The weather was so cold that opening one’s mouth produced white mist, which then condensed into ice and fell around them, making it feel like they were in an ice cave.

"And what amazing friend are you talking about? I’ve been at the City D Base for so long, how come I haven’t seen them?" Isaac rubbed his frozen, red nose.

Right at that moment, several vehicles directly entered the inspection area at the base’s entrance.

When Nina got out of the car, she felt a black, round ball rushing toward her.

Wayne Warner looked up and blocked the round ball for her.

The round ball could be heard screaming, "OW OW OW OW, Wayne, it’s me..."

"Shirley? Why are you here?" Nina also saw Adrian Shaw.

"I was worried about you guys." Shirley rubbed his aching forehead. He only found out today that Nina had returned and then immediately went out on another mission.

"Of course, but that will have to wait until everyone passes the inspection," Adrian Shaw said, pointing to the inspection room on the side.

The City D Base regulations mandated that no matter who entered the base from the outside, they had to undergo an inspection.

It was incredibly wise of Nina to have introduced a prodigy like Sherry to the Enforcement Bureau in the first place.

"With you working so diligently, how could I blame you?

"Actually, I have an item here. Take a look and see if you can keep it for your own use." Nina took out a Compass that looked extraordinary at first glance.

This was the Compass she had looted from Magnus York at Mornfell. Sherry knew some Arcane Gate Evasion Arts, but her original Compass was a broken one.

As soon as Sherry saw the new Compass, her eyes went wide.
