Chapter 1350: Chapter 1347: Are You Resentful Toward Us?
Standing in place with a gloomy expression, Bi Xia removed his hand from his cut arm, looking at the blood covering it. After a while, Bi Xia chuckled lowly, "A diversion tactic? Well played! Well played!"
Han Fan, I. fuck. your. mother!
Lowering his starlit eyes to his palm, he thought about the crystal in his hand, and recollected the relationship between Han Fan and Qin Qing that Qin Zhan had mentioned before, and Han Fan’s recent reaction. Bi Xia curled his lips wickedly, Want it? I’ll let you see it but not touch it!
Thinking of the man he had just seen, Bi Xia pressed his lips tightly together, suddenly turned, and punched the wall heavily. A deep fist mark appeared there, his starlit azure and crimson eyes gradually darkened towards obsidian, almost grinding his teeth as he muttered, "S.P!"
"Little Nine?"
Ji Qiutang’s voice came from afar, clearly sensing something was wrong as he felt the spiritual power ripple and sought over. Bi Xia’s starlit eyes turned clear, expressionless as he straightened up, ignoring the blood on his arm and broken fist, casually flicked his hand, put one hand in his pocket, and walked out.
The starlit eyes met Ji Qiutang coming this way. Ji Qiutang, though seeming normal, felt something amiss, furrowing his brow as he looked at Bi Xia, "Did something happen?"
Starlit eyes slightly raised, his voice calm, "Nothing."
Clear eyes fell on the injured arm, "Then what happened to your arm?"
He glanced at it indifferently, with a cold smile, "Wasn’t careful and got accidentally hurt... Anyway, let’s go, I’ll explain the details later."
Ji Qiutang’s clear eyes slightly narrowed, turning to look behind, gazing into the stretching darkness. He paused, eyeing the already distant Bi Xia, suddenly speaking to the empty corner, "I had a dream, about Little Nine... Oh, there’s something I need to tell you..."
"...I like Little Nine."
Saying this, he ignored the interior and stepped up to follow Bi Xia. No one saw the flicker of a playful and somewhat narrow light in those clear eyes, though it was evident the pressure inside lowered considerably.
"Seems like our Little Nine is pretty popular."
The man’s face beneath the mask was unclear, but faced with Han Fan’s teasing, the exposed deep black eyes were obscure and unclear, showing cold glints. He lowered his head, looking at the wall with a small fist mark and faint bloodstains.
Han Fan noticed the man’s gaze and looked too. Upon seeing the blood marks, Han Fan opened his mouth, hesitating before saying, "I... seem really angry, forgot to cover up using spiritual power..."
The man didn’t speak, only retracting his gaze, resting it on his shoulder as if pondering something.
Han Fan’s elegant face showed confusion as he looked at the man, "What’s wrong?"
Suddenly, those eyes lifted to stare straight at Han Fan. An endless pressure bore down on him, making Han Fan cough up blood suddenly. The once serene face finally showed some change, a moment later he sighed with exasperation, "I didn’t mean it, the task was to injure Little Nine, I just cut her arm, not a big deal. You know, I wouldn’t really hurt her."
The man didn’t speak, just raised his hand, and black spiritual power surged up, the dagger in Han Fan’s hand came to his instantly. The man seemed almost obsessed as he looked at the blood on the dagger, lightly kissed it bit by bit, his thin lips stained with Bi Xia’s blood. Suddenly, his wrist flipped, the dagger deeply cut the clothes outside his arm, drawing a wound deep to the bone.
"You’re insane!"
That calm demeanor changed drastically, Han Fan gripped the man’s arm, his hand raising as light yellow spiritual power overflowed to cover the man’s wound, only to be thrown off. The black eyes suddenly looked at Han Fan pinned against the wall, the pupils lacking their usual color replaced by bottomless deepness, a cold and indifferent that made Han Fan’s heart sink, only to see the man with a teasing smile mercilessly smearing fresh blood from his wound and the blood from a girl’s lips onto his own, before turning and disappearing into the darkness.
Han Fan stared dumbfounded at the man who didn’t utter a word from start to finish until he disappeared, slightly stunned, not helping but laugh bitterly. You’re trying to show me through actions that my harm to her equals immense pain to me, yet most regretful is my failure to protect her, forced to share in her pain?
"Are you... blaming us..."
