After a Flash Marriage With a Billionaire, My Brothers Are Begging for My Forgiveness!
Chapter 217: Give Me a Kiss
Chapter 217: Chapter 217: Give Me a Kiss
As the man suddenly leaned in close, Sienna Everett’s long lashes trembled, her eyes shimmering with a crystalline light. "I could tell the man in the photo wasn’t you, so why would you be jealous?"
"And before you could tell?" he asked, staring into her eyes.
Sienna Everett thought back. When she first heard the rumors about Julian Forrester and another woman, she had been a little confused, but she hadn’t suspected him.
"I trust you." Sienna Everett raised a hand and patted his shoulder, her expression exceedingly sincere. She even gave a solemn nod.
’Julian should be pretty touched to hear that,’ she thought.
’After all, who doesn’t want to be trusted?’
But instead, Julian Forrester gave a slow, deliberate glance at the hand patting his shoulder before his gaze returned to her face. His tone was enigmatic. "Actually, I’d rather you keep a tighter leash on me."
Sienna Everett: "?"
For some reason, she found herself asking blankly, "How tight?"
The man raised an eyebrow, his casual, seductive tone making it impossible to tell if he was joking or serious. "Call to check up on your husband at least five times a day."
Sienna Everett: "?"
"Five calls? Isn’t that a bit much? Should I also check you for hickeys and strands of other women’s hair?"
"Of course, you can," he answered without a hint of hesitation, even looking forward to it.
Sienna Everett: "..."
Just as she was at a loss for words, the man suddenly bent down, slipped his hands under her arms, and lifted her up to face him.
Sienna Everett’s body was suddenly airborne. Startled, she instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck. "What are you doing?"
The moment she asked, she clearly felt him firmly part her legs and wrap them around his waist.
He drawled lazily, "Going upstairs, so you can check me for hickeys."
"...Who wants to check you? Put me down."
This position was just too embarrassing.
Her legs were wrapped around his waist, making her feel like a koala clinging to him.
Julian Forrester had no intention of letting go. He simply carried the woman in his arms and started up the stairs.
Just then, the old butler led a few servants in from outside to clean the living room. Upon seeing the Master and Miss Everett in such a position, they immediately lowered their heads and politely averted their eyes.
Sienna Everett was so mortified she felt like steam was coming out of her ears. She squirmed in Julian Forrester’s arms, trying to get down, and protested in a hushed voice, "Put me down! Hurry up!"
Her squirming stirred the man’s blood. His steps halted abruptly, and he raised a hand to give her bottom a light swat. "Don’t move."
Sienna Everett froze. Her face flushed crimson in an instant, and a tingling numbness shot through her. She didn’t dare squirm anymore, burying her entire blushing face in the man’s shoulder.
Julian Forrester glanced down at her. The girl had shyly buried her face in the crook of his neck, and her long, soft, raven hair cascaded down, tickling his skin and sending faint shivers across his neck.
He couldn’t help but let out a soft laugh. "What a good girl, Sienna."
Sienna Everett: "..."
Annoyed, Sienna Everett ground her teeth and bit his shoulder.
The man didn’t cry out in pain. He just gave her a casual glance and continued carrying her upstairs. "Go on and bite. My Sienna can bite however she wants."
Hearing this, not only was Sienna Everett not moved, but she opened her mouth and bit down again.
Harder this time.
Julian Forrester arched an eyebrow, his voice drawing out slowly in an indescribably casual and indulgent tone. "You’d better leave a mark. It can be a matching set with the one on my wrist."
At his words, Sienna Everett stopped biting.
She blinked, then looked up as realization dawned.
Because she had just buried her face in his neck, a few strands of black hair were stuck messily to the side of her face. Her voice was soft as the delayed realization finally hit her:
"Julian Forrester, that bite mark on your wrist from when I bit you as a kid... you never got rid of the scar. You left it there on purpose, didn’t you?"
She had suspected it before. If he had used scar removal cream, how could the mark possibly still be there?
A look of sorrow seemed to cloud the man’s features. "You hated me so much. You only liked Maxwell Sawyer. You fought with me over him, broke things off with me... I guess I was just too detestable. All I could do was secretly keep this one thing that connects me to you."
Sienna Everett: "..."
’Why does that sound so manipulative?’
"Just talk normally!"
Julian Forrester couldn’t help but chuckle. He had just reached the second-floor bedroom door while carrying her.
He stopped and looked down at her with his dark, jade-like eyes.
Because her whole face had been buried in his neck, fine beads of sweat dotted the girl’s fair forehead. The skin around her eyes was flushed red, and the corners of her eyes held a rich, enchanting allure she was completely unaware of.
The man lowered his head, his nose gently brushing against her cheek. His voice was low and earnest.
"Yes. I left it there on purpose."
"Your bite mark."
His deep, sexy voice slipped into her ears, accompanied by his searing breath. Sienna Everett’s heart suddenly skipped a beat. Her fingertips curled slightly as a tingling, burning sensation washed over her chest.
She lifted her shimmering, watery eyes to meet the man’s intense, profound gaze. It was like a whirlpool, pulling her in, and for a moment, she was completely lost in it.
The amorous tension in the air mounted, layer by layer.
The man’s deep, mellow, magnetic voice broke the silence. "Shall we start checking for hickeys now? Hmm?"
Sienna Everett blinked once, then twice. Only then did she catch a glimpse from the corner of her eye that they had reached the bedroom door.
She immediately jumped down from him like a cunning, fleeing cat, spun around, ran into the bedroom, and SLAMMED the door shut, even locking it from the inside.
Julian Forrester, locked out of the room: "..."
He tried the handle. It didn’t turn.
"..."
He took out his phone and sent her a text: [Why are you running? Open the door.]
Inside the room, Sienna Everett sat at her vanity, looking at her reflection in the mirror. Her fair cheeks were tinged with a faint, rosy blush from embarrassment. She couldn’t help but raise her hands to pat her face.
Her phone DINGED with a message from Julian Forrester.
Sienna Everett let out a haughty hmph. ’Open the door? As if.’
’No way!’
A few seconds later, another message came from him: [Sienna?]
Sienna Everett still didn’t go to open the door.
’Who wants to inspect his body!’
Two seconds later, another message from Julian Forrester arrived: [If you don’t open this door, you’re going to get it.]
Sienna Everett: "?"
’He dares to threaten me?’
’Fine. I’d like to see just what he’s going to do to me!’
But in less than two minutes, Julian Forrester opened the door with a spare key.
Sienna Everett’s eye twitched violently. ’How could I forget about that!’
"So, um, you just got back from the office. Are you tired? Have you had dinner? Do you want something to eat?" she asked, quickly changing the subject.
The man strode over to her, a dangerous, ambiguous smile on his face. "My Sienna is so impressive, locking me out."
Alarm bells screamed in Sienna Everett’s head. Knowing when to yield, her eyes crinkled into a syrupy sweet smile. "Julian, are you hungry? How about I cook something for you myself?"
"..."
"Why aren’t you saying anything? Are you saying my cooking is bad!"
Julian Forrester helplessly raised a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose, then turned and sat on the edge of the bed.
Sienna Everett followed him closely, blinking at him, her lashes fluttering. "Are you really mad? It’s not like I really locked you out..."
Before she could finish, the man suddenly grabbed her wrist.
With a slight tug, he pulled her down to sit on his lap.
Sienna Everett’s earlobes grew hot again.
The man wrapped his arm around her slender waist, his tone unreadable as he said, "Mhm, I’m really mad."
"Then you..."
"So," Julian Forrester interrupted, leaning his face in slightly, "give me a kiss and help me calm down."
