Chapter 1952: Return To The Trial Lands/True Dawn
Chapter 1952: Return To The Trial Lands/True Dawn
Grey stretched his hand towards the Gnome, a wave of space essence was pushed towards the Gnome.
If the Man was shocked by Grey’s previous attack, this one almost made him run away. Right before his eyes he saw the Gnome’s body slowly disintegrating.
‘What’s happening?’ The Man was taken aback, dumbstruck by the scene before him. How could such a vicious move be possible?
Although he was unfamiliar with the space element, he had used a few teleportation arrays and could sense the ripples of space coming from whatever technique Grey was using. The darkness element was the only element he knew that could achieve such a result, so seeing Grey use the space element in such a manner flabbergasted him. He did not know the space element could be used in such a manner. The number of Space Elementalists in the Aurora Continent was too small, making it difficult for others to know too much about it compared to the other elements.
In a matter of seconds, the body of the Gnome completely disintegrated before the eyes of the Man. He took a glance at Grey, seeing his emotionless eyes, he unconsciously shuddered, feeling pity for his potential enemies. Grey was young, yet he could take a life without any form of remorse or hesitation.
Grey finished dealing with the Gnome, turning to the Man he said, “Thank you for your assistance.”
He knew the Man used a secret technique to momentarily increase his strength so as to be able to compete with the Gnome. If he was not trying to use his fusion orb, the Man would not have gone that far.
The Man had canceled the secret technique and his aura showed clear signs of weakening, he waved his hand and said, “Don’t think too much about it. It’s great we were able to kill off such a powerful enemy.”
Grey did not speak any further, returning to his friends, they rushed back to Red City. He had not forgotten about his Teacher asking for help. If even his Teacher and the people there could not deal with whatever trouble they had, there was no way only the four of them could help. His objective of rushing to Red City was to get more help.
It took only a few minutes for them to arrive in Red City. When they got there, Lucas asked them concerning the explosion since they felt it even from this distance. When he found out that it was an attack used by Grey, he was dumbfounded. He wanted to make more inquiries concerning it, only for Grey to tell him about his Teacher’s predicament.
Knowing how important Chris was to Grey, Lucas took the matter seriously. If not for his wife still in a critical state in her cultivation, he would have volunteered to go with them. Unfortunately, he did not trust anyone except Grey and himself to safely watch over his wife. He called over two ten Peak Sovereigns, there were very few Half God Plane experts in the area, and including him there were just three. The other Half God Plane experts were scattered all over the Azure Continent, and given the short notice, there was no way to call them over. The two Half God Plane experts here agreed to go with Grey. They had heard of this place from Chris, and they were quite curious about this ancient Faction.
From what they knew, this was one of the very first ancient Factions to act, even before the event of the Tomb of Gods, True Dawn Faction had been making moves. They heard the expert who helped save the Human Race the last the Gnomes invaded was from True Dawn Faction, making this a Faction they all wanted to visit. Now that the opportunity presented itself to them, they naturally wanted to make sure they took it.
The location of the entrance to True Dawn was hundreds of kilometers from Red City, luckily Grey had set up multiple teleportation arrays across the Continent during the time they were traveling searching for Gnomes to kill, and one of them could at least cut their journey by more than half. Without delay, they all rushed to the teleportation array Grey had set up in Red City. It has been around thirty minutes or so since Grey received the news, killing the Peak Gnome as well as getting his father to summon this many experts took a few minutes. Even with the teleportation array, it would still take them about an hour or so before they would get to their destination.
The Half God Plane experts were all amazed by Grey’s resourcefulness, having multiple teleportation arrays made traveling easier. The toll it took on Grey was serious though, having to ensure he protected this number of people in the void was by no means easy. If not for Void and the Bunny Leader, he would have never dared to do something like that. A Peak Sovereign was okay, but Half God Plane Elementalists contained too much essence making it even more dangerous to travel via his teleportation arrays.
An hour and thirty minutes later.
Grey and his group arrived at the familiar forest where the entrance to True Dawn was located, it has been a long time since they last came here, yet the towering trees still looked the same. The only difference compared to the last time they came here was that there was no portal waiting for them to use.
The Trial Land was the first small world Grey and his friends entered, and it was a very significant part of their growth as it was the place they found the Great Earth Essence Liquid which helped boost the grade of their elements. It was also the reason they became wanted by all four Empires since they could become too powerful for the rest of the Continent. Thinking back to it now, they could not help but shake their heads at how naive the Empires were.
