Achieving Nothing, I Can Only Be the Pirate King
Chapter 1238: Corresponding Fruits
Chapter 1238: Chapter 722: Corresponding Fruits
In the thriving development of O’hara, be it power, strength, or other things, there’s no longer a need to make too many plans.
There’s something called the great force, what is the great force?
Sage controls the high-end weapon sales between the Revolutionary Army and the World Government, so in the sea battles, he might not ensure which wins, but ensuring who doesn’t lose is absolutely possible.
Sage controls trade in the New World and even the West Sea and the North Sea, using trade and strength to indirectly control power in the West Sea and North Sea. If he wants a country to become strong, perhaps he can’t guarantee it, but if he wants a country to disappear, he can easily achieve it.
Sage has influenced half of the Underworld forces because the most resources are with him, from bread and rice to cutting-edge technology, all of which the Underworld needs, hence he can even affect covert trade worldwide.
The great force is when he holds the core strength and influences most of the world, there’s many times even he can’t stop this current trend.
More than twenty million, no, nearly thirty million people are under his rule, with two hundred thousand regular soldiers, two hundred thousand reserves, and one hundred thousand pirates in his hand. When every opened eye is these people’s livelihood, it’s hard for him to stop.
Moreover, Sage never thought about stopping this, just like his desire, it’s completely insufficient.
Even without Imu appearing, he would have launched an offensive no later than a year.
Now that it’s happened, it’s just an excuse.
These proud people who see the sea as their own possessions are too arrogant, believing everything in the world is still commanded by them. Except for the ‘Nika’, who once resisted and was remembered by that guy, they put nothing else in their eyes.
This alone is enough to make Sage angry.
He doesn’t understand why, whether it’s the World Government or the Revolutionary Army, none seems to have considered him as a major adversary, just given him some attention, while in contrast, the Navy has overly focused on him.
However, the Navy now can’t spare the effort, being restrained, without any power; focusing on him is of no use.
It’s not just them placing obstacles everywhere; he depends on CP9 and the Imperial Guard, gathering no small amount of information from the Navy, knowing that no matter how Akainu emphasizes his threat, those above remain indifferent.
All their intentions are on dealing with Nika and the Revolutionary Army that have directly confronted the Heavenly Celestial Dragon.
Like Sage, even with significant development, the current apparent threat is truly not him.
In the Government’s view, his control of the New World is a foregone conclusion. Rather than having one more enemy, it’s better to focus on the immediate issues; once the Revolutionary Army and Nika are dealt with, they’ll address him.
After all, Sage is just a Pirate, not one bearing the name of ‘D’.
That’s also what that Imu thinks, hence the descent to the Lower Realm, wanting to make Sage an immediate Heavenly Celestial Dragon… it seems everything in the sea, to Him, is subject to command and demand.
Even this time when they came, being driven away by Sage, the final result won’t change; at most, just draw some attention.
The World Government cannot spare this effort.
“Wondering if they’re lost in a beautiful dream, or remain so arrogant.”
Sage chuckled: “Both the apparent and the hidden aspects have been revealed; the one sitting on that Void Throne was indeed that guy. Even the leader has appeared; it’s time to compete.”
Currently, he is in the conference room, seated below are all the high-ranking officers of O’hara.
“Should we issue the mandate now?”
Lily asked: “Then I’ll order the preparation of material allocation.”
“Allocate the materials first, prepare the personnel. No rush for the others, we can wait a little more…”
Sage chuckles warmly, his fingers pointing on the world map spread out in front of him, colored over on the map.
Led by Sage with O’hara as the core, black and red cover the first half of the New World, while the latter half is stained in black, extending to and saturating the West Sea and North Sea in light black-red.
These belong to Sage and the forces he can influence.
Furthermore, there’s the Grand Line; the entrance area is covered in white, while the East Sea and South Sea form white shadow stripes, mixed with the blue and green representing World Government and Navy.
Then there’s the front half of the Grand Line, the blue and green amidst the black-red and white center.
The World Government and Navy, in the eyes of the people, are a single entity, but Sage can regard them as two forces.
Because there are quite a few former Navy members here.
If striving for dominance, the Navy is still usable.
After all, it’s all about ruling the world; whether Imu or Sage rules, it makes no difference to the Navy.
Fight the Pirates?
Better to say it’s about maintaining stability.
In his O’hara, Pirates are also a force protecting territories. Once he becomes King of the World, the Navy can still be used.
“Generally divided into three factions: us, along with chaotic Pirates. The World Government and Navy. The Revolutionary Army and Nika.”
Sage looked at the attending Prince of Merfolk, Fukaboshi, “Did your sister leave with Nika?”
“Governor, we couldn’t prevent…”
Fukaboshi puckered his lips, wanting to explain, but Sage waved his hand, completely unconcerned and said: “It’s everyone’s freedom who they follow. There are plenty in the Dragon Palace Kingdom dissatisfied with me; don’t worry about them. It’s not a time to hold you accountable; the current situation is each of the three Ancient Weapons has found its master.”
