Achieving Demon Godhood from Unlocking Talents
Chapter 512: Talent Fully Unleashed, Prodigy Severely Wounded!
WHOOSH!
Without a second thought, Lu Chao abruptly threw a punch and dashed forward in pursuit.
The enhancement brought by [Barbarian] had not been digested at all; it merely left his body brimming with extraordinary strength, making him want to vent his fury more than ever before.
In contrast…
“Hah!”
THUMP!
The Silver-armored Man, half-lying on the ground, let out an angry shout. Slapping the ground with a single palm, he used the momentum to flip back onto his feet. The liquid exhaust flames on his elbows suddenly flared. Instead of dodging, he chose to meet the attack head-on with a punch of his own.
BANG!
The impact erupted, sending streaks of white air trails blooming between their fists. A shallow crater exploded into the ground once again. The Silver-armored Man’s expression shifted as his legs plowed through the earth, sliding backward.
Witnessing this, Lu Chao pressed his advantage. The muscles on his half-naked upper body pulled taut like steel cables, and his thick thighs bulged against his pants.
With a loud THUD, he stomped the ground and closed in on his opponent in an instant, his breaths conjuring two streams of mist. Fully entering the focused state of [High-Efficiency Skill], his eyes grew exceptionally profound.
In that split second…
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!
Lu Chao unleashed over a dozen punches. The afterimages of his strikes seemed to appear all at once, detonating the air and tearing through the lingering shadows.
THUD THUD THUD THUD THUD!
The Silver-armored Man’s face looked grim as he was beaten back step by step. To his shock, he found himself struggling to keep up with his opponent’s movements. Several Fist Seals smashed directly into his chest, triggering overload warnings within his armor.
BANG!
Soon after, he was knocked back by another Fist Seal, crashing through a stone building.
“Get lost!”
RUMBLE!
An intense gravitational fluctuation suddenly burst forth, far stronger than the shockwave of an air explosion.
STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP!
Caught in the blast, Lu Chao slid back several steps. Looking over, he saw the Silver-armored Man standing in the center of the stone building’s ruins. The surrounding air quivered and distorted, while the stone debris cracked and crumbled into dust. Quietly, a slender, silver object resembling a sword hilt materialized in his hand.
“I never expected a mere native to push me this far.” He stared fixatedly at Lu Chao and flicked his silver-armored wrist.
HUM!
The silver hilt in his hand spewed forth blue light, transforming into an Energy Lightsaber. The black and gold patterns traversing his armor glowed continuously with blue light, as if a special energy source had been activated to achieve a higher stage of charged release.
SWISH!
In the blink of an eye, the Silver-armored Man charged fiercely. With the piercing whistle of wind in his ears, Lu Chao’s dynamic vision swept the area like a hawk. Empowered by his focused state, he accurately tracked the blue trajectory.
HUM!
He ducked out of the way, narrowly avoiding the lethal strike. Catching a glimpse from the corner of his eye…
SLASH!
The concrete wall behind him was sliced in two like scrap paper. Amidst a loud crash, the wall collapsed. Lu Chao’s pupils contracted. He stared intently at the blue Energy Lightsaber, slightly alarmed by its cutting power.
Before he could fully process this…
HUM!
A sudden gravitational fluctuation bloomed once more, distorting his vision and vibrating the air as it enveloped him. It felt as if he were carrying a massive mountain on his back, his body emitting a series of groans under the strain. A sensation reminiscent of entering a gravity room back when he was weak washed over him. The pressure was even greater this time, causing his heartbeat to slow for a fraction of a second and freezing him briefly in place.
As his vision refocused, the Silver-armored Man spun and darted right in front of him. Gripping the Energy Lightsaber tightly in his right arm, he swung it horizontally, aiming to slice Lu Chao in half at the waist.
THUMP THUMP!
THUMP THUMP!
His heart pounded wildly like the beating of a drum. Lu Chao could clearly hear the rush of his own blood. For the first time since activating all his talents, he found himself in a truly thorny situation.
“It’s over!” the Silver-armored Man sneered, completely closing the distance between them. The invisible gravitational waves expanded frantically, forcefully suppressing Lu Chao and locking him down.
The moment their eyes met, Lu Chao let out a sudden, explosive roar!
“Hah!”
A potent Spiritual Shock erupted, instantly piercing through the silver armor and striking directly into the man’s mind.
BUZZ!
In that instant, Lu Chao’s body relaxed. He could clearly feel the surrounding gravitational waves turn chaotic and fail. Seizing this momentary window of opportunity, he took a step to the side and twisted his body, dodging the residual momentum of the Energy Lightsaber’s horizontal slash.
His focused gaze was dead set on the staggering Silver-armored Man, who was reeling from the Spiritual Shock. The muscles in Lu Chao’s left fist, chambered at his waist, drew tight and instantly swelled by half their size.
SWISH!
SWISH!
It sounded like the flow of blood, or the surging of ocean waves. This was a fist infused with the four-layered Stacked Force, concentrating all of his might. At the same time, he channeled the gravitational impact he had previously intercepted with his Locking Power, fusing it into an even more devastating, surefire killing technique.
Stacked Counterattack: Five-layered Stacked Force!
BOOM!
The punch connected! Dead center on the chest!
A white shockwave exploded outward in a perfect ring. The Silver-armored Man’s body shuddered violently, his legs sinking into the ground as he was momentarily pinned in place.
Amidst the faint, crackling sounds, his exceptionally sturdy silver armor began to show hairline fractures. The diamond-shaped node on his chest, responsible for projecting the electromagnetic kinetic waves, caved inward slightly, emitting a dense, ear-piercing string of CRACKS.
Without a moment’s hesitation…
BOOM!
Lu Chao threw another punch, striking the exact same spot. The shockwave blasted open, and the cracks widened.
Following closely…
SPLAT!
Blood seemed to spew out from within the silver armor. Lu Chao had forcefully smashed right through the opponent’s silver armor protection, penetrating the chest and abdomen of the body inside.
The atmosphere fell dead silent. Everyone was frozen in shock. Before they could react…
“Argh!”
Pain snapped the Silver-armored Man back to his senses. Beneath the visor, his eyes were bloodshot, and the scale patterns on his forehead suddenly flared with light. He had actually been severely injured by a native!
The [Warmonger] mech was over thirty percent damaged, and his own vital signs were plummeting uncontrollably. Locking eyes with Lu Chao once more, he saw an exceptionally cold gaze—one that intended to seize this chance to obliterate him entirely.
HUM!
A burst of blue light erupted, charging and converging along the various patterns across the silver armor’s surface. In a mere fraction of a second…
BOOM!
A powerful electromagnetic kinetic wave was unleashed once again. Like a pillar of blue light, it pierced through several concrete buildings a dozen meters away, leaving near-vaporized, hollow holes in every wall it touched.
STOMP!
Planting his feet firmly, Lu Chao reappeared seven or eight meters away. Catching sight of this terrifyingly destructive strike in his peripheral vision, he withdrew his gaze and looked back at the spot he had just vacated.
The Silver-armored Man staggered. Although interwoven blue electromagnetic light flickered across the chest of his armor, the metal plating itself was shattered, and blood oozed from a fist-sized hole. Meeting Lu Chao’s eyes, he unexpectedly retracted his faceplate, revealing a humanoid face with glowing scale patterns on its forehead.
“Cough, cough…” He let out a light cough, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth. Though his eyes remained icy, there was an obvious trace of weakness in them.
“I will remember you… native.”
HUM!
The metallic sphere hovering in midair suddenly spewed a beam of blue light, enveloping him. Lu Chao’s eyes narrowed. He stomped the ground and dashed forward, throwing a killing punch.
BOOM!
The shockwave of his punch tore through the air, shaking the earth and sending explosive echoes resounding for meters around.
CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK!
Fissures spread across the ground. Even an armored vehicle several meters away had its chassis dented, skidding sideways across the dirt.
However, the Silver-armored Man vanished completely. It was as if he had teleported away, or been transported through space. The blue light projected downwards also rapidly shrank, turning from a towering pillar into a mere thread of light.
Frowning, Lu Chao clenched his fist and lowered his arm. He looked up at the sky.
WHOOSH!
Spewing liquid exhaust flames, the silver metallic sphere sped through the air, ascending rapidly. In just a few breaths, it disappeared into the high heavens, shielding itself from all electromagnetic surveillance and vanishing without a trace.
Witnessing this scene, Fortress Mountain City descended into a brief, dead silence. Inside the hovercar high above, the personnel from the Superpower Bureau had shifting expressions. Glancing at one another, their eyes were filled with sheer defeat. They had been completely unable to intervene in the previous battle, and in the end, they couldn’t even intercept or track the target.
“Sir…”
“Forget it.”
The Peak Transcendence Level expert surrounded in the center rubbed his temples. The method of disappearance used by the Clare People was far too bizarre, completely surpassing their understanding. Coupled with the influence of the Klar Civilization and the impending war… this matter was already beyond his jurisdiction.
At this thought, he forcibly pulled his mind back and looked down at the earth of Mountain City once again. That half-naked man had actually defeated a trial genius of Clare in head-on combat. That was Non-human Level combat power—of this, he was absolutely certain. Such existences were exceedingly rare in the entire Alliance Country; you could count them on two hands.
HUM!
As if sensing something, the man below looked up. His cold, hard face was utterly impassive, making even this Peak Transcendence Level expert’s heart skip a beat, nearly missing a rhythm.
The next second…
WHOOSH!
The man vanished from his spot, leaving no trace behind.
“Sir, should we…”
“There’s no need!” The man in the silver-gray combat suit quickly waved his hand, cutting off his team member’s intent to investigate, and shook his head. He dared not try to track down these Non-human Level experts.
Moreover, looking down at the utter devastation and ruined buildings of Mountain City below, he couldn’t help but shake his head with a helpless sigh.
Clare’s civilization trial… and another emergent Non-human expert. He didn’t know whether this boded well or ill for the Alliance Country’s upcoming war.
