Shi Lang spent his time contemplating the ways of time, and guiding the rest of the sect disciples to elevate their own understandings of Dao and spiritual cultivation. After reaching the level of Saint long ago, Shi Lang found the amount of spiritual energy or true essence his dantian and body can hold was limited, and this could not be changed.

The only way to seek a path to the higher level was to comprehend the Dao Rules. Only then can he advance to the ranks of a true saint.

The saint realm had three layers, Seeker, Acolyte, and Priest. After these three layers what lay ahead was covered with a fog of uncertainty. To increase his level, he would need to go through some data and it wouldn’t be easy for him to find that data.

It had been ten weeks since the incident in the arena, and today, Hao Mei appeared outside the pavilion. Shi Lang turned his head to look at her with a smile and beckoned her over. Hao Mei approached and said, “Baba, The Warring Princess of the Jewel Eye race, Naomi Kar is here, along with the Young Chief of the Sun Archer Race, Nishan.”

Shi Lang raised his brow and asked, “Any idea what calls them to visit?”

Hao Mei smiled and shrugged her shoulders, before she said, “Shall I let them over?”

Shi Lang nodded as he thought, ‘What could these two want from me?’

As he was pondering over the issue, two figures appeared in the garden and they approached the pavilion. Shi Lang looked around and said to a service disciple, “Xiao Xue, can you get two chairs for the guest?”

The Disciple was mainly tasked with the duty to look after the flowers in the garden and she rushed out quickly after hearing the instruction. Naomi and Nishan appeared in the pavilion and Shi Lang greeted them with cupped fist, as he said, “Long time no see, Brother Nishan, Princess Naomi.”

Naomi smiled and replied, “Indeed, it has been long since we have seen you up close, Master Shi. However, your skills in the Tournament definitely will go down in the historical records of the myriad races.”

Shi Lang shook his head and asked, “You flatter me too much.”

Xiao Xue returned in a flurry and then quickly placed two chairs and a small table with a pot of tea. Shi Lang smiled and said, “Xiao Xue, you can take the rest of the day off. Also, come back tomorrow, I will teach you.”

Xiao Xue was so excited that her blood rushed to her cheeks, at this moment Hao Mei appeared and said, “Baba, how many times I have told you not to be so generous? Poor Xiao Xue, look she is going to explode from excitement.”

Shi Lang smiled wryly, and Hao Mei patted a few acupoints on Xiao Xue’s body and told her to go and rest. The disciples cared a lot about getting tips from Shi Lang. Xiao Xue calmed down and left the pavilion hurriedly. Hao Mei personally brewed the tea and served to the guests.

Shi Lang said, “This is a special brew, Soul Lily Tea, it nourishes the soul energy. My daughter doesn’t bring these out usually, you two should come often.”

He closed his eyes to take a sip and ignore the glaring pair of eyes from the side. The two guests smiled and Naomi Kar said, “From the last meeting till now, Princess Shi has become very gentle.”

Shi Lang raised his brow and asked, “What do you mean? Mei is the gentlest person in the whole Asura Hall. I am not exaggerating.”

Naomi was surprised and she hesitated, but Nishan went on to give Shi Lang the brief of how Hao Mei directly beheaded Naomi’s cousin and almost killed him. Shi Lang smiled and replied, “That is because the Princess’s cousin tried to attack her. I have always taught them to stand tall and protect themselves in the face of danger lest the people try to harm them.”

Naomi nodded and said, “It was indeed my cousin’s fault for acting the way he did and troubling her.”

Shi Lang nodded, he asked, “So, what can I do for the two of you?”

Nishan said, “Brother Shi, we are here this time with the intention to have a deeper connection with your Asura Hall.”

Shi Lang raised his brow and prompted him to go on, and Nishan said, “Brother Shi, many of the elders in the Sun Archer Race reached out to various forces of the human race to obtain a few resources that are hard to find in our realm and traded with them, however, we discovered that none of these forces are truthful, they always try to play tricks on us. Although, we prefer to not have conflict but repeated actions will brew nothing but hatred in the minds of the elders and once they exceed the limit, it would be conflict.”

The Terran nodded and said, “Give me the names of these forces and I ensure you a proper explanation behind this will be provided to you and your elders.”

Nishan thanked him and then the Terran turned to look at Naomi who said, “I have come over this time to exchange a few techniques and comprehensive records in exchange for your soul comprehension.”

Shi Lang agreed and replied, “I am much obliged but I only want to know about the path that lays ahead of the Saint Realm. I know that it is not the peak limit, or we might not have such a big difference in strength from the Realm Lord.”

The two guests exchanged gazes and the young lady said, “Indeed, the saint realm is not the peak, but if I am to share this information with you, can we ask for a strategic exchange of disciples? We would like some of our disciples to visit your sect and study here and you can do the same.”

Shi Lang looked at Hao Mei and said, “Call Tao over, this is her department, I would rather not interfere to get scolded.”

Hao Mei chuckled and said, “Just one minute.”

Naomi frowned and Shi Lang said, “These things are handled by my eldest daughter, she will be coming to discuss the feasibility with you in detail.”
