Chapter 1088: Sun Archers.

Shi Lang finished treating himself and then he looked at the young men standing in a distance, respectfully looking at him. He sighed and waved the leader over. The young man came over. Shi Lang noticed that the skin of the young man seemed to be made of silver, however, his body was very close to the structure of a human.

Shi Lang noticed that the insides of there bodies were different. They seemed to be a species that extracted energy from the rays of the sunlight and then used it to function. They looked like human solar panels, well, at least that’s how Shi Lang classified them.

The Terran asked, “Who are you?”

His voice was calm and his tone was softer than before, however, the intent to kill in the surroundings was still the same. He was going to kill anyone who takes action against him without any hesitation. The young man bowed slightly and folded his hands together as he said, “Lord Shi, we are the Sun Archers. All these days, we have been hearing about your actions and also your strength. In our race we admire the strong, but we don’t believe in monopolizing it and then suppressing others. We saw you and wondered if we could be friends with you?”

Shi Lang almost let out a chuckle but he saw their calm and sincere expression and he asked, “What is your name?”

The young man smiled and said, “Forgive me, I am called Nishan.”

Shi Lang asked, “Nishan do you know how odd it feels to have someone come over and directly ask to become friends? How can I trust you like this?”

Nishan smiled and replied, “Lord Shi, we Sun Archers cannot lie. This is one of the biggest limitations set upon us by the heavens. The progenitor of our race was cursed by the gods because he destroyed three of the four suns in our realm. Later on, when he was confronted by the heavens, he decided to tell the truth that he did all this because of the gods commanding him. However, the gods were angered and they placed a combined blood seal on the progenitor that caused his body to turn silver before they were slayed by the heavenly laws. This is why despite having the strength high enough to counter many races set above us, we restrain from indulging with the other races.”

Shi Lang thought for a bit and he realized that what Nishan said was true. He sighed and replied, “Nishan, you can call me Shi Lang, I am aware of the situation of your race, however being friends needs a lot of time and effort. I am not sure how to be a friend to you.”

Nishan smiled and said, “Lord Shi, you don’t have to think this much. I am aware that you are looking for the way to the Ranking Tower. I have been there and we can lead you there.”

Shi Lang smirked and asked, “But…”

Nishan smiled and replied, “But, we would like you to share a design for a bow that would be silent and swift.”

Shi Lang frowned and said, “You all use the bows and arrows, right?”

Nishan nodded and after a minute, Shi Lang took out a sniper rifle and taught the man how to use it. Nishan was shocked to see this, but when he held the weapon he was fascinated by it. Following the instructions from Shi Lang, Nishan fired a bullet in the distance and when the small bullet of spiritual energy fired through, he was shocked.

The small bullet was faster than an arrow, and the impact it had on the boulder was shocking. Shi Lang said, “The longer you channel the spiritual energy inside it, the higher the impact. The best it can display is the impact equivalent to that of a Dao King. Depending on your energy quality and quantity that you have input.”

Nishan was shocked and he asked, “Can I ask you to produce this for my people?”

Shi Lang raised his brow and asked, “Your people?”

Nishan hesitated, and a young lady standing behind him stepped up and said, “Lord Shi, this is His Majesty Nishan Surya. He is the chief of the Sun Archer race.”

Shi Lang narrowed his gaze and Nishan quickly replied, “I am the young chief of the race, Asha. What do you mean by chief?”

The lady bowed her head and Shi Lang noticed that her skin turned slightly darker for a moment before she repeated Nishan’s words. He asked, “Those were the symptoms of hiding crucial information or forgetting some of it?”

Nishan nodded, and Shi Lang sighed as he remarked, “You sure are living a hard life. Anyhow, if you can get me to the Ranking Tower, I will give you my jade token. You can take that to visit a member of the Asura Hall and ask them to trade the Sniper Rifle with you for a price slightly cheaper than the rest of the races. How does that sound?”

Nishan nodded and said, “I agree, when would you like to rush towards the Ranking Tower?”

Shi Lang shrugged and replied, “Now?”

Nishan nodded with a smile and waved his hand. Asha opened a bag tied to her waist and seven huge horse appeared on the ground. The stallions were all blue in color and they had a fiery mane. The Terran commented, “Majestic.”

The horse seemed to have understood him and they all raised their heads slightly higher. Nishan said, “These are the Military Steeds of the Sun Archer race, Ashva Shreshta.”

Shi Lang realized that Sun Archers had a touch of Sanskrit in their language, and he confirmed his doubt by replying, “Ati Utam.”

Nishan was shocked and asked, “You know Devalipi?”

Shi Lang shook his head and replied, “Just a little, now shall we get moving?”

Nishan nodded and said, “You can ride this one.”

He patted the nape of a horse and said, “Be nice.”

The horse nodded and then Nishan told only five people to go along with him while the rest had to take the token Shi Lang gave them to make a deal with the Asura Hall.

Shi Lang hopped on the back of a Horse and asked, “What is she called?”

He could tell the beast under him was a she, and Asha replied, “Mahima.”

Shi Lang patted Mahima’s nape and said, “If you manage to take the lead of this group, I will give you a blood refinement pill, then all your hidden injuries would be healed.”

Mahima shivered and Shi Lang revealed a jade pill bottle and removed the cork on it. The fragrance alone was enough to help Mahima as she neighed loudly and stomped the ground. Shi Lang said, “Don’t worry, just run, I will make sure that you don’t suffer.”

That said, Nishan looked at Shi Lang shockingly and asked, “Why the hurry?”

Shi Lang replied, “Because I want to see someone.”

The answer was vague, but Shi Lang didn’t clarify and thus the ride began as the Ashva Shreshta vanished in the sky.
