Ace Of Terrans

Shi Lang stood inside the office and the principal was pinned under his foot. The teachers and the guard robots all rushed over. The entire security system went to red alert the moment he crashed through the door. The Terran, however, didn’t bother at all.

The robots scanned his face and they determined that he was the highest ranking officer in the military and he could not be attacked unless the entire populace of the federation has been asked for a legislation.

The robots went back, and Shi Lang looked at the rest of the teachers who gathered in the corridor looking at him and shivering in fear. The Terran said, “Gather all the students in the assembly ground, and I mean, everyone.”

His last word made the instructors shiver and they all bowed quickly before they sent out multiple messages to the students. A few teachers actually ran away to grab their students in person. Shi Lang waved his hand and he grabbed the Principal from his throat raising him in the void like a dead chicken.

The principal was trying to speak but he was not allowed to. Shi Lang looked at Amelia and the latter said, “The principal has been trying to force the females into some sort of a cult.”

Shi Lang raised his brow and cast a gaze at the girl next to Amelia, she looked at Shi Lang and hesitated a little before she said, “Sir, there has been a rise amongst the people who had been exploiting the weak and the poor to gain some standing in the society.”

Shi Lang tilted his head and asked, “How do you know this?”

The girl stepped forward and saluted him as she produced an holographic identity card. Shi Lang narrowed his gaze and asked, “The shadow whispers. You have been here under cover, looking for leads to find these people from the cult?”

The girl nodded and Shi Lang asked, “What is this about, what cult? What is your name?”

The girl replied, “I am Spade Seven. While on paper I am a member of the Shadow Whispers, I am actually the member of the Ace Division. We infiltrated the school to keep an eye out, but around three years ago we found these men. Their motive is to get what they want regardless of the method they use. They are brutal and also very well connected. The investigation by my predecessors have determined that even some of the secret division officers are in cahoots with them.”

Shi Lang looked at the agent and asked, “Do you guys have all the evidence and the names?”

Spade Seven nodded and said, “Yes, Sir, however, the Ace Division had no central command officer and so we have to go through the commanding officers of the various Secret Divisions and some of them are protecting these people.”

Shi Lang nodded and said, “Can you arrange a press conference for me? Tell them that General Shi Lang has called for the attention of the entire federation. That I have come back from the upper realm and if they have any doubt, I am willing to prove my identity as well.”

Spade Seven was shocked and they she saw Shi Lang take out a card from his space ring. This was supposed to be a commemorating article, but the Terran didn’t expect it to have become so significant now. He flicked the card at the agent who caught it and then looking at the markings, she shivered and gulped, before saluting Shi Lang.

At this moment a slow paced metallic thud echoed from the other end of the corridor and Shi Lang spotted a familiar silhouette walking over. He didn’t say anything and just watched the spiritual puppet. The robot spoke, “Welcome back, Master Shi.”

Shi Lang replied, “Still as indifferent as ever, huh, 3PO.”

The robot replied, “Indeed Sir. Pardon my delay, a student fired my leg with the blaster, and I have yet to get the parts to complete my repair works.”

Shi Lang frowned even harder and the temperature dropped significantly before Spade Seven said, “Sir, I will arrange the conference right away.”

Ten minutes later, Shi Lang stood on the elevated platform and he looked over at all the students that have gathered in the assembly ground. There were around a thousand of them. Shi Lang said, “All the third year students, raise your hands.”

The students followed his command instinctively. They were fearful even thought they didn’t realize who Shi Lang was, they feared his presence. They had never felt something like this before. Even their teachers were not this intimidating.

Shi Lang looked at them and asked, “Look at yourselves. Your uniforms are out of order, is this the way a cadet should be dressed when crossing the gates of the so called ‘best’ school in the Federation?”

The people shivered, Shi Lang continued, “This institute stood the test of times, and is still here after thousands of years, however, the crop being cultivated in here is trash among trash. Had it not been for the fact that this property can be of some nice alternative uses, otherwise, looking at the sham that is being conducted here in the name of education, I would have turned this place into a parking lot!”

As he yelled, the clouds thundered, and the students shivered. The media had all been gathered as well, and then the people were shocked to hear such words. They had been running direct stories on the return of the Supreme General, and they were thinking that the condition of living would now turn even better because he was here. However, the constant criticism that was being served to them made it a little hard to keep up with the previous expectations.

Shi Lang grabbed the neck of the Principal who was laying at his feet and only now did the people see the face of the person, and Shi Lang asked, “So, how can this man, who has been trying to force himself on women inside the Principal’s office? Is the monitoring system not working anymore? Have the students been admitted in the course based on merit only?…”

His questions went on and on, and while the people were asking themselves how they fell so low, the media was shocked about how many things Shi Lang actually knew. The Terran took a pause and said, “The Ace Division had always been under my command, whether I was present or not. Today, I am using the Ace Division to take action against the people responsible for the corruption of the system.

If the members ranking above a General wish to seek redemption, then you are welcome to challenge my disciples. If you manage to win the battle, then you can live. However, if you fail, you shall die without an proper burial and all your achievements will be stripped. Or you can confess to your crimes and serve a term in the prison. As for my actions, they will be decided by the legislation of the people. Ace Division will hold a transparent legislation and the decision will be made within twenty four hours.

This is our federation and everyone shall be treated with equality. The strong must not oppress the weak. Go on and vote, I promise you, even if it is the prime minister who has done wrong, you will get the answer.”

His words shook the federation and it became obvious that there was going to be a blood bath, once more, just like the time mentioned in the history books when the secret division slayed every officer and official involved in a scandal and they hung the bodies of the officials flayed and naked on the various poles.
