Chapter 625 - 624: Heaven Will Fall
Chapter 625: Chapter 624: Heaven Will Fall
Bang!
Bang!
The two clashed rapidly as the Seventh Layer of Space trembled over and over, bright flashes appearing at intervals.
This was a layer of space where no light was supposed to exist. It was meant to be the beginning of nothingness, yet the two were fighting so fiercely that their attacks were creating light.
To the horror of the Quasi Rank 5 being, the more he fought with Void, the stronger Void became.
You see, entering the Seventh Layer of Space was a big mistake for him.
While in the Sixth Layer, he could at least control and bring the Sixth Layer into order. But the Seventh Layer was different. He couldn’t control it, and with that, he had lost his advantage.
Void was breaking through to Rank 5, and it was happening rapidly.
His Authority.
His Rules.
His being.
Everything was evolving.
Void’s fighting style became more relaxed, yet deadlier.
Shiaaa!
Crack!
Thud!
It started with just a cut.
Then came broken ribs.
Then his limbs were removed, floating through the Seventh Layer of Space.
One by one, his injuries accumulated, and with Nameless enhanced by the Prototype of the Fitel and the Authority of Fear, the injuries took almost forever to heal.
He was losing.
And he was losing badly.
He was practically being dominated by Void.
Their bodies were moving so fast that more than a billion flashes of light were created every millisecond.
That was taking into account the fact that their perception of time was completely different from that of other beings.
Their own time was far faster than that of other existences.
Bang!
Bang!
The tremors traveled from the Seventh Layer to the Sixth, then the Fifth, and slowly into the Abyss.
---
At the abyss
Linkir buried her fist into the stomach of a Rank 4 angel, whose divine armor was instantly shattered as he vomited blood.
She felt a slight tremor, and her expression changed.
Without a doubt, that should be Void and the Quasi Rank 5 angel fighting.
She smiled.
Space instantly compressed, and then massive cuts appeared as the Rank 4 angel’s body was sliced cleanly into tiny pieces.
The pieces were then separated into different dimensions before...
BOOOOOOM!
A loud explosion erupted.
But this was merely a warm-up.
The angel appeared a second later, anger evident on his face, as more than ten other Rank 4 angels joined him.
A massive History Node was created.
It spanned tens of millions of years as the eleven of them faced Linkir.
The same thing was happening with the other slaves of Void.
Each of them had to face five or more Rank 4 angels.
Yet even with such a disadvantage, they were still winning.
But without a doubt, the deadliest one among all of them was Sword Demon.
He was so crazy that he pulled fifty Rank 4 angels into a History Node war spanning almost five hundred billion years.
Within this History Node, explosions rang out as humans walked across the battlefield, each one created through Sword Demon’s power.
Their sword intents shattered stars, collapsed space and time, and were so powerful that they cut off aging for their race, meaning they could never die.
Actually, the older they became, the stronger they became.
And the humans had an ancestor.
He was the oldest one among them—and the direct clone of Sword Demon.
According to legend, it was said that when he moved, universes were shattered beneath his blade.
He was so powerful that he could cut time into two.
He could divide the past and present, shatter the River of Time, cut Destiny, and even Fate bowed to his will.
This was the number one taboo creature within this History Node.
The more than fifty angels watching the battle unfold were filled with fear.
How terrifying was this demon?
You must know that among them were Middle-level angels and even High-level angels.
Yet with their combined strength and numbers, they were losing to one demon.
It brought up the question:
How far had Sword Demon walked on the path of the sword?
The years passed.
One by one, all the civilizations formed by the angels were wiped out, while the human camp belonging to Sword Demon only kept growing stronger with age.
Finally, the five-hundred-billion-year war came to an end.
The victor was Sword Demon.
His clone stood alone within the History Node.
The fifty angels’ eyes were filled with shock.
"Impossible..."
They couldn’t help but say it.
Across all their faces was a small, tiny cut that had only drawn one drop of blood.
But that single drop was like a terrifying event to them.
That clone had been so strong that he not only cut everything, including the History Node itself, but was also able to cut them even though they existed outside of it.
Hence, the thin cuts across their faces.
This was a creature that was, at most, Rank 3.
One they could pinch to death with their fingers.
Yet it had actually wounded them.
How was this possible?
"The sword doesn’t know a realm..."
The clone of Sword Demon spoke calmly as he vanished from existence.
"You..."
An angel couldn’t help himself.
He immediately reversed time, and the History Node came back to life.
He stretched forth his palm as a gigantic hand that seemed to cover everything appeared within the multiverse.
The humans were brought back to life.
They all trembled in fear.
Even the races that were revived and belonged to the angel camp were filled with fear.
What was happening?
But the clone of Sword Demon showed no fear.
He raised his sword.
Then..
He slashed.
The remaining angels’ eyes widened in shock.
The attacking angel trembled.
He felt insulted.
How dare this pest?
How could a Rank 3 creature dare to attack a Rank 4 being?
But even knowing that he would die, the clone still attacked regardless.
BOOM!
The world was destroyed.
The angel smiled.
Although much of his anger still remained, some of it had been released.
"How interesting..."
Sword Demon spoke calmly.
"Come. Take it out on me."
The fifty angels were frightened.
How could they have forgotten?
That was but a clone.
"AHGGH!"
Screams were heard as all fifty angels were cut out of existence.
But just a second later, they appeared again, completely unharmed.
Yet fear was evident in their eyes.
Just then, the surrounding space quaked.
Void appeared within the Fifth Abyss.
Void snapped his fingers.
From the lowest Rank 1 angel to the Rank 4 angels, they were all killed.
His gaze turned toward the opened path between the Abyss and Heaven.
He grinned.
"Heaven will fall today."
Void opened his mouth.
In his hand was the head of the Quasi Rank 5 angel.
He was still alive.
Yet he couldn’t speak.
He couldn’t even move.
He was completely frozen.
A large throne appeared behind Void, filled with the bones of angels and all the races he had ever killed.
Void calmly sat on it.
He placed the head of the Quasi Rank 5 angel on the armrest, resting his hand upon it.
His crimson eyes looked toward the opened path connecting the Abyss and Heaven.
"I want the strongest angels to come."
His grin widened.
"I want to destroy you all."
"I want you to lay beneath my feet as I crush every one of you."
"And after that..."
His eyes narrowed.
"Heaven will fall."
He leaned back against the throne.
"So..."
A terrifying aura erupted from his body.
"LET THEM COME!"
