Chapter 1642: One Human, One Butterfly, Three Beasts

Vast and powerful energy fluctuations emerged from numerous locations throughout the Xia Kingdom, causing the clouds and wind to sweep across the lands. A mysterious humming sound rang out through the heavens and the earth. During which, numerous mountains collapsed and space ripped open.

Humongous figures of light appeared in the skies.

Upon closer inspection, each figure of light possessed fluttering six-colored butterfly wings. They were exceptionally mystical butterflies with runic patterns spread across their bodies.

When they flapped their wings, worldly natural energy surged along with them. A primordial aura unfurled from the butterflies as they flashed through the skies, each leaving behind a rainbow-esque trail of light.

The colorful butterflies flew in from every corner of the Xia Kingdom, headed towards a specific location.

The City of Southwind.

Whenever the butterflies encountered each other, they merged and fused, causing the energy fluctuations to become even stronger than before.

In the skies above the City of Southwind, Bai Mengmeng was fluttering in the air with the help of her butterfly wings. Her pupils had turned colorful and her usual, pure, gentle expression was sharp.

Multi-colored butterfly runes were dancing across her skin and cheeks. Her originally jet-black hair was now prismatic, spilling down her back like a waterfall, reaching her ankles. Her innocent temperament was now tinged with a unique charm. When those qualities were juxtaposed against each other, she was absolutely captivating.

A voice that did not belong to Bai Mengmeng came out of her mouth. "Mengmeng, lend me your body for a while. You are unable to control this power, so you might suffer from a backlash if you try to handle it yourself."

"Alright, Elder Sister Rainbow Butterfly. Take care... Those people seem to be coming here for you," Bai Mengmeng said, her voice reverting back to her usual warm tone.

"If the situation turns south, please take care of my older sister, Squad Leader, and the rest of them," she said sincerely.

Afterwards, Bai Mengmeng's consciousness fell into a deep slumber, and all control was passed over to Rainbow Butterfly.

When Rainbow Butterfly felt the body fall under her complete control without any reservation, a complex and helpless look flickered through her eyes.

"She truly is an innocent and foolish little girl. Why does she trust me so much?" she mumbled to herself.

Bai Mengmeng had voluntarily relinquished control of her body and allowed her consciousness to fall into deep sleep. If Rainbow Butterfly wished, she could wipe out Bai Mengmeng's consciousness and permanently occupy her body. If she did so, Bai Mengmeng would cease to exist.

However, when facing such a pure and trusting girl, Rainbow Butterfly was reluctant to do something like that. After spending so many years with her, she had grown to like this little girl.

Rainbow Butterfly's gaze turned gentle. When her consciousness first awoke in Bai Mengmeng's body, she was at her most vulnerable. Bai Mengmeng must have sensed her presence back then, but she never actively sought to hurt her. Instead, she curiously watched and allowed her to recuperate.

The little maiden never had any intentions to harm her; she was kind, and her intentions were pure. If the Sacred Void Resonance Sect were still around, she would definitely have accepted Bai Mengmeng as a disciple and nominated her as a Sect Master candidate... Rainbow Butterfly continued to float in the air. With the help of her wings, she moved to the Heavenly Demon Butterfly's head. The auras of the two began to fuse, eventually becoming one.

The aura that pulsed off the combined creature was no weaker than the aura of a Triple Crowned King.

Rainbow Butterfly's colorful eyes were cold. The Silkworm Molting Divine Transformation Art had allowed her to create countless silkworm pupae clones and enter a state of slumber, escaping the ravages of time. These mighty creatures were hiding in the depths of an ancient mountain range in the Xia Kingdom. However, looking at the situation, it was clear that they had fallen under the control of the Rainbow Butterfly.

As Rainbow Butterfly stood atop the Heavenly Demon Butterfly's head, the latter soared into the skies, causing the space around it to distort and warp. The auras of the woman and the butterfly merged into one as they zipped over the Xia Kingdom with terrifying speed.

Their destination: Xia City!

The three Beast Kings met her halfway there.

When they encountered her, the three Kings let out roars of worship and subservience.

Rainbow Butterfly nodded in approval.

The woman, the butterfly, and now the three beasts were enveloped by the crystalline dust, shuttling through the void. A few short moments later, they arrived at their destination.

Xia City appeared before their very eyes.

Everyone present was absolutely taken aback by the sudden appearance of the new group.

Rainbow Butterfly's eyes were filled with intense murderous intent as she glared at the Saturnine Hydra Devil King. Her bone-chilling voice rang out, containing a pressure that was capable of crushing layers of space. It swept unobstructed across the heavens and earth.

"This is like a weakened tiger being bullied by a dog. A puny Triple Crowned Devil King dares to lust over me?"
