In the Skardos Mountains.

Tap, tap, tap.

"I thought it was because you were anxious to find your master, but it seems it’s just something you always do," Celestia said, pointing at Xingyue’s finger, which wouldn’t stop tapping against the table.

At those words, the sound stopped. Xingyue looked at the elf with displeasure. "I’m still not with Master. Finding him is not the same as being by his side all the time."

The elf’s eyes lowered slightly as she thought. "Do you think the plan you came up with will work?" Celestia’s face clearly showed she didn’t like the plan.

But before the answer could come, a woman entered the meeting room. Her light red eyes, which held a slight rose tint, conveyed a very marked confidence and arrogance.

"You’re finally here!" the clearly impatient one exclaimed.

Two dwarves entered right after her.

"Don’t blame her, little one. We held her up so she could help us with the materials that need to be taken to Valvradis."

Lilith added, "Once we’re there, I hope you don’t talk too much. You’ll only draw attention. Even if it confuses them that I’m the one speaking instead of Raymond, it’s better this way."

Celestia’s cheeks puffed up in displeasure. Pretending to be a man didn’t suit her at all.

"Is it really necessary for me to go too?" she asked, looking pleadingly toward the star-eyed sister.

"You’re not expecting the dwarves to do it, are you? I’m not good with illusion techniques, so you’ll have to adapt. Anyway, it’s not too complicated." She paused for a moment, turning her attention to the unfamiliar woman. "Lilith. Just take me to meet the most important people in your organization."

"I’m afraid that’s not possible. The top leaders are unknown. I believe I already mentioned that."

Xingyue clenched her fists and then released them, feeling depressed.

She then observed the woman from Serphes, who was now cooperating with them, more carefully.

Lilith’s figure was too perfect—seductive.

She bit her lip and whispered, "Luckily Master never really met this succubus..."

Before, with the sisters, they managed to drive away all the women who approached him with those intentions, but now... Her gaze ground toward Celestia, who had clearly shown admiration for her master, and then toward this woman who exuded lust.

Hmph! She acts so arrogant, but if she ever met Jinghua or Siyin, I bet she’d be embarrassed!

...

Millions of light-years away, in the meeting hall of the Primordial Essence Sect.

"So there wasn’t any Immortal Emperor or any appearance of ’her’?"

"No, I already told you, Yuning. Things were resolved easily. There were no significant problems. And even if an Immortal Emperor had appeared, you know well that it would have to be at least a mid-stage or elder one to be a real threat," Liwei said for the nth time.

"Even so... with all the movements they’ve been making lately, I feel like they already know Master isn’t here. And if that’s the case, we need to be prepared. His original body is still with us. If he ever decides to return to it, we have to protect it."

"I understand what you’re saying, Yuning," Ruolan joined in. "But I don’t think he wants to return to that body, even though I hate that fact. Maybe we should do something with it. It’s too dangerous to keep guarding it like this." She stood up from her seat. "Therefore, I’ll go ask Master for permission on how he prefers us to handle his original body. He’ll probably leave it to me."

Jinghua moved her tail and frowned with amusement at those words. "I think you just want an excuse to go see him, Ruolan. Besides, you’re being arrogant thinking he’ll leave it to you. Master’s body will stay here as always. If he prefers the new one now, then we will too, but we’re not turning it into medicine or anything like that."

"I don’t know what you’re talking about, Jinghua. Don’t you have to go deal with Siyin’s punishment? I only suggested an idea. There were no other intentions behind it."

A short laugh was the only response she received.

Ruolan made a face, but her calmer and more discreet attitude soon returned, causing her to sit down with a slightly lost look in her eyes.

"Luowei and I will go see Master. We don’t care if it’s right or not, right, Luowei?" Liwei interrupted.

The sister beside her, though a little confused because she had been asked for her opinion, nodded immediately. "That’s right! We don’t care!"

"You cause problems and now you want to leave us to deal with them," Yifei said sharply.

"Come on, come on, I think we all need to calm down a bit," Lanying intervened, trying to ease the atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Siyin had been suspiciously quiet, arms crossed and eyebrows slightly raised. The sisters began to notice this. The lively and slightly confrontational mood among them gradually died down.

"Sister..." a whisper, varying between shy, low, and even a slightly playful tone, came from each of the seven sisters.

An exhausted sigh escaped from the eldest.

"Liwei," she paused for a moment. "Luowei. I won’t stop you if you want to go, but you have to promise me one thing."

The two sisters listened attentively, their eyes burning as they heard what they had to promise. A slightly crooked and completely determined smile began to form on both of their faces.

"Mmm, Sister, you don’t have to worry! We’ll definitely take care of it!"

...

For his part, Cassian went straight to where Elizabeth had fled. Although he had told her he would see her later, he could no longer wait.

His serious and cold voice echoed between the walls. "Since Adela seems so willing to keep lying to me, I hope it’s not the same with you, Elizabeth."

"Master..."

"Master!!" Adela appeared as well, still in her maid uniform. "I’m not willing to lie to you! It’s not like that!" she came out to defend herself.

"Then what are you hiding from me? Both of you."

The maid began fiddling with her hands nervously, while Elizabeth—who always wore a poker smile—made a face of displeasure and took a few steps back, unsure.

"Recently..." Adela began.

"A report arrived from Pradiles," Elizabeth continued.

"From my sister?" His eyes began to darken, an icy cold filling the entire room.

"Yes... but it’s not what you think."

"And what do I think, Elizabeth?"

"We’re handling it with Adela. You don’t need to worry."

"WHAT DID IT SAY, ELIZABETH?!"

The marquise bit her lip, clearly aware that dragging it out any longer made no sense. She rubbed her head in anguish, her hand trembling.

"Your sister has disappeared."
