Her body had become leaner and far sleeker than her previous bulkier form, though that didn't mean her hide was any less soft. No, it maintained its obsidian reputation, all the while having faint violet marks appearing across her body that perceptibly flowed and glowed in the darkness whenever she allowed them to.

She had become a superior form and a perfect hybrid between an Obsidian and Voidfang Panther.

Leo opened his eyes when he was done getting a picture of things from Shyra's eyes.

Phew, I can only imagine what kind of assassin she would become at Royal Bloodline…

Leo suddenly realised that if this Voidfang Panther flag kept sending them panthers every hour, he might be able to increase Shyra's bloodline to Royal barely!

Damn…

Wait, isn't she kind of a progenitor now? I don't think such a hybrid might exist in this world unless someone happened to have a talent similar to mine or that impossibly small chance of a natural birth…

Leo tried asking the system about some things, and it provided no better answer than what Brant had already informed him. So he could only try to look into it on his own in the library when he got back.

"What the hell happened?!" people exclaimed after seeing Shyra's form change in front of their eyes.

The beast in question pretended as if nothing had happened and continued to eat the Panther's corpse.

People were not bothered by the fact that Shyra was technically committing cannibalism because every other beast did the same. They were shocked that she had transformed to look almost the same as the panther she had killed and eaten, except for the long fangs and the natural body armour she already had. She was almost the same as the Voidfang Panther—but more dangerous and menacing.

And they were even more shocked to see that when the next Voidfang Panther came at the 4-hour mark, Shyra dealt with it alone within 5 to 10 minutes without even requiring healing from Sylrael, all on her own.

"What the fuck…" Uraan and the others were baffled.

And just like that, the final hour of the flag capture came, and at Leo's snowfield flag, the capturing was already complete as the spirit beam in the centre died down and the stony hut began to shine, as if it was beckoning Leo to come and claim the rewards.
