Leo pulled himself from the spiral of his thoughts and looked down to see territory members looking up at them, more specifically, at the 50-meter-diameter water sphere above the Eagle.
He looked around, and it seemed Virat and the 3 girls had gone somewhere else, so currently only Lily, Kaelion, Miho, Veronica, and the elves were in the territory.
“You go and create a place where I can put this. Meanwhile, I will stay up here to hold the fishes.”
Just as Brant finished saying that, Leo found himself mid-air and slowly descending to the land. Looking up, he saw Brant had used some kind of wind magic to create an elevator effect, and he softly landed on the ground, dust blowing away as the wind dissipated.
“Leo! You are back,” Lily cheerfully welcomed him.
“So quick, let’s go, you need to rest now,” she insisted, but Leo stopped her.
“I still have some work to do. See that water sphere that Professor Brant is carrying? I need to make space for it to keep. This will permanently solve water issues in our territory.”
Lily curiously looked up to see some creatures floating inside the sphere.
“Are those fish!?” Lily asked excitedly.
“Yes,” Leo replied, looking for a good place above the plateau to build the pool.
“Not fair, Leo, you had fun alone,” Lily said grumpily.
“The place where they were caught is very dangerous. We might get killed in a split second if we go alone. Let’s become strong, and after that, we will roam the whole world together.”
As Leo finished speaking, Sylrael hesitantly approached him from the side.
She was wearing a green matching outfit, like that of her hair and eye colour, light armour above that, and a white cape signifying that she had special authority over other elves who looked similar.

“Lord… For those fish… do we need to construct wooden tubs? But for such a large volume, we might need multiple, and it will take a bit more than 4 hours to finish it.”
Seeing Leo’s unresponsive expression, Sylrael quickly added,
“We can construct a large tub also… but it will take more than a day to do so. I am sorry…”
Leo was taken aback.
Are they expecting to get toiled on their very first day? Leo thought, confused.
But in reality, Sylrael just wanted to be useful as quickly as possible so that Leo would see them in a good light. And doing this regularly would prevent any bad treatment from happening to them, especially for the weaker elves and the ones that were not assigned any work by Lily currently.
Leo looked towards Lily, confused, and she just shook her head in defeat.
“Sylrael, focus on making the houses that I have said, and don’t worry needlessly about having a few elves on standby. Put them on shifts so that the working ones get time to rest. Now go. Leo will handle everything related to the fish.”
Leo nodded.
“Yes, don’t worry about it. I am not as powerless as you might think I am.”
“Ah no—” Sylrael panicked, thinking Leo took her suggestion as if she thought he was not strong enough to handle things on his own.
“You think too much. I will say it again, you and your sisters will not be treated badly just because of your status as slaves. You might have seen many things in your dreams, but I promise you, Lily and I are nothing like that. But yeah…” Leo gave a smile that sent a slight shiver through Sylrael’s body.
“I can never tell what will happen to our enemies and those who betray me.”
Lily came from behind and lightly hit him on his shoulder.
“Stop it, don’t scare her.” She turned towards Sylrael.
“You said the house will be ready by night, right? You also join and finish it earlier, and in the extra time, decorate it. That’s what you will do today. Now go and don’t think unnecessary things,” Lily said, her voice steady and authoritative, yet calm enough not to pressure Sylrael much.
Sylrael nodded and, after a small farewell, departed for her work.
“So where do you plan to build whatever you have in your mind?” Lily asked.
“Right here, where we are standing.”
Lily looked down, confused.
“It’s the centre of our whole territory… what exactly—!” Lily suddenly found herself getting lifted by a vine that was wrapped around her waist, which gently placed her on a tree branch 60 meters away.
“Stay there and watch.” Saying that, Leo slammed his palm on the ground as it started to shake.
Grrggrgrgrrr!
The surroundings shook as the trees and shrubs shifted from their places, moving aside until a whole 60 meters of the region was cleared. Bigfoot and the elves were startled as they quickly came running to the location, thinking an enemy had attacked. Even Miho and Kaelion halted their training to see what was happening.
But they only saw Leo crouched down on one knee, his eyes closed and his palm firmly pressed on the ground.
Leo instructed Howl to remove any dirt and rock that Leo shifted from its place. And thus began the formation of the pool.
In front of everyone’s eyes, a circular region of 60 meters in diameter was hollowed out with a slanted depth of 4 meters originating from the sides. Soon after, the flooring started to get polished as the dirt compressed together, hardening and forming polished marble.
