Abby and Violet (Yuri Light Novel)
Vol. 4 Rewrite, Chapter IX — Toys Monkeys and S*xy Librarians
After Abby sent me that text last night, she had gone radio silent, making me slightly worried, but not too worried. I was sure that if things had gone bad, she’d have come running to me, her girlfriend, for some cuddling and comforting. Let’s call that progress on my part and ignore the fact that I had some trouble sleeping due to the heat and missing Abby.
I mean, I did miss Abby…
Not having her happy noises and breathing tickling my neck or chest sure can be tough once I realise it.
Still, could be a lot worse were it not for that feeling that things had gone all right between those two, but I could only be sure once Abby arrived to pick me up. As soon as she opened the front door, I’d know for sure.
A completely silent door opening and closing followed by quick, dragging steps, and things went bad.
A slightly noisy door opening and closing followed almost silent steps, and it was just another day.
A silent but quick door opening and closing followed by hopping, quick steps that are being as silent as possible, and it was a great day to be alive.
“Fufu! Speak of the devil.”
The door opened and closed with barely a second in between the two sounds, and Abby sounded like an overweight sparrow rushing to get some bird feed on the floor.
I stayed how I laid, belly down, and with the back fully exposed, along with my feet. I just took a quick check on my phone to see what time it was. She came a bit earlier than usual, so she likely wanted to play and talk a fair bit before we—I—had to start getting ready for another school day.
“Hi there, lover!” she sang as she opened the door and saw me staring at her.
“Hi Abby!” I greeted back, grinning like an idiot. “How was last night?”
As she approached, I noticed that her eyes were kinda puffy, but she still looked overjoyed.
“Hehe, so, listen, listen!” she said, still melodically talking as she hopped on me, straddling my butt and starting to work her magic fingers on my nape and working her way down as she told me all about it.
At first, I wasn’t understanding how she could possibly be this happy because what she was describing sounded an awful lot how Abby was when I went to get her out of that hotel room, but it became clear once she told me that the two slept together and chatted most of the night.
Then…
“Still, I need to apologise to you…”
“Hmm? About what?” I asked, moaning as she pressed hard right below my ribcage, hitting a spot that was popping under the pressure.
“…I told her that you and I… make love.”
“H-Huh!? Why!?”
“B-because… she asked because she’s trying to understand our relationship and I thought it’d be best to tell her the truth…”
“…”
“…You think I did wrong?”
“…Haah… who can say for sure. You said what you thought was best at the time, and I can’t fault you for that, can I?”
“…I’m really sorry though…”
I pushed my torso up to bend it around and look at her. She was looking regretful—obviously, but also kinda adorable as she locked eyes with me, them glistening like precious gemstones.
“May I turn around?” I asked her while tapping her butt with my heel.
She lifted her body enough for me to get on my back, and once she sat back down on me, I stretched my arms to call her for a hug while calling her a silly bean sprout.
“Is that something you should be calling your girlfriend when she’s about to cry?”
“You’re not about to cry and you are a silly bean sprout,” I told her as I made sure her head was well nested against my neck. “Well, you’re also a lovely shortcake too, so it balances out in the end.
“…Tiny, but extra sweet and mouthwatering?” she asked, nuzzling my jaw.
“Fufu! That’s right.”
“…Could I play with your boobies?”
“Don’t call them that. And why are you asking?”
Our relationship was at a point way past that. If one of us wanted to touch the other, they could simply go for it with the other deciding if they’d let it continue or not.
As she started fondling me one handed and still nuzzling my jaw, she explained that while she slept with her sister, she realised how much her chest got in the way of hugging or sleeping in certain positions.
“Aah, is that so?”
“Hehe, you jelly?”
“Why should I? You’re pretty much saying that I have the perfect chest size, aren’t you?”
“Hehe! I guess I am,” she giggled as she started to nibble my jaw. “Say, won’t you play with mine too?”
I explained that I wouldn’t for the exact same reason I didn’t start at the same time she did: because I didn’t trust myself to not go any further than that and we didn’t have all that much time for it.
She let out a low hum before stopping fondling me and sat up at the edge of the bed.
“Why did you have to go and say that?” she whined in a low tone, her face looking more flushed than the heat should be responsible for and rubbing her knees together. “Now I won’t be able to hold back either…”
Shamefully, I lunged at her like a wolf to a lost lamb, pulling Abby by the shoulders and setting her in the middle of our bed. She meekly put up a make-believe fight, moaning and giggling my name as I removed her uniform.
Unfortunately, our talk and her massage took longer than either of us had realised and when I was done unbuttoning the last button of her shirt, my alarm started ringing.
I shut it off and looked back down to the mess that was my girlfriend, red-faced and panting with all her front discovered, her half-open eyes sparkling as she looked at me.
She was looking too erotic for my brain to be able to reason with reality.
“…Let’s skip the morning class,” I said as I lunged at her again.
“Ah! N-no! We—Ah! We can’t!” she said, now putting up a real fight as I tried to get rid of what was under her skirt and nibbled her neck and ear. “Math! It’s Math!”
“Math?”
“Yeah!” she panted. “Math.”
“…Haah…! I hate school…” I lamented as I collapsed on her.
“There, there,” she panted as she patted my back. “We can always continue this later.”
Except we couldn’t.
Just now, we got too excited and were making too much noise, so we could never do something like this at her place. Hell, even if we were to do it quietly, it still was risky because a noise could escape one of us, or the bed could creak or… something else entirely.
My place was a bit better for that, but we could only do it in the morning because once we came back from school, the place was too hot, and at night, it wasn’t all that better either. Even so, if we were to do it in the morning, we’d have to jump straight into it to be able to get at least a round in, and even then, we might have to cut it short, fully skipping setting the mood, which to be real, was the best part, and my favourite moment in making love. We’d also probably have to cut short the cuddling, that also being the best part of it, and Abby’s favourite moment in making love.
That left us with the weekend. I guess that was the reality of many couples—the married, adult ones—but it hadn’t been ours until school and her sister living at her place started.
You see, it wasn’t just the physical urge of doing it, it was also—arguably, mostly—the emotional and spiritual side of it. The connection we feel as we… form a “Oneness” of sorts.
“Babe? You need to get moving,” Abby softly spoke, probably knowing exactly what I was thinking.
“Don’t wanna,” I whined as I dug my arms under Abby to hug her gently but tightly.
“I know, babe,” she said with a squeak as she embraced me back. “I know.”
“What happened?” Mathilda asked us as soon as she saw us, completely skipping the greeting. “You look awful.”
I understood why she’d say that about Abby. Her eyes were still a bit puffy and red from crying last night, but me?
“You look like you’d slap a bear to death if he looked at you funny,” Abby told me when she saw my confusion.
It was good to know that I looked how I felt. Maybe that way people would leave me in peace. Not that our classmates ever bothered me anyway.
Abby explained that we had a bit of a hiccup in our morning, but things were fine between us and in general too.
“Hmm… one of you couldn’t get it up?”
“Oh, go put hot sauce on your eyes!”
“Sorry, I’m just trying to brighten the mood.”
“Why are you girls always so cranky?” Mathew asked as he took his seat.
He and Mathilda started a dumb argument as usual and me and Abby got to set things up on our desk. Once it was done and the two others were still hurling insults and dumb jokes at each other, Abby rested her hand on mine and leaned closer so her face came into my field of view. It was a gentle gaze she had on me that was asking how I was doing.
I told her that I was better despite a voice in my mind starting to shout again about how much I wanted to just drag Abby into a hidden corner and do indescribable things until either of our bodies gave up and couldn’t do it any longer.
Was I always like this?
It was like having a bunch of monkey toys slamming their cymbals and running amok inside my head. How was I even supposed to focus like this?
“Hmm?”
She kept staring at me, making me fear that she was reading me like an open book. Let’s be real here, she totally was. I could see it in her eyes.
Maybe, because of that, she pulled my notebook and opened it to write something.
“Imagine our old math teacher in tight swimsuit trunks asking you to apply sunscreen on his back,” read Abby’s message.
“Works like a charm,” she told me in a hushed tone with a mischievous snicker.
That it did. For the first time since Abby stopped me from going any further, I could hear myself think as the monkeys were mostly gone to the depths of my mind.
“So girls, about this week’s sleepover, I was thinking…”
Mathilda had noticed that Abby and I weren’t looking at her while she spoke and followed our gaze, that being the reason why she grew quiet.
By the door stood Stephen and another classmate, a female one. The two were chatting jovially, and that soured Mathilda greatly.
“Well? What are you waiting for?” Abby said to egg her on. “Kill!”
It was said as a joke, but for a moment it looked like that was exactly what Mathilda was about to do. Luckily, she just loudly said “good morning Stephen” with tiny hop as she latched onto his arm, squeezing it between her considerable chest and making him get a bit flustered.
“She messed up!” Abby gasped with a hand covering her mouth.
I couldn’t see why Abby said that, and I didn’t ask right away because I was curious watching the thing unfold.
I think he returned the greeting and asked her what was up, but I can’t be too sure since the only time tried reading lips was as a waitress when people were asking for the bill or placing an order. Her face was also quite red as she shrugged and said something back to him before coming to sit with us, grabbing her chair and setting it perpendicular to us.
“I messed up so badly!” she said, her face hidden behind her hands.
I was still unaware what the big fuss was all about, but once she told me with a hushed voice coming through clenched teeth, the second-hand embarrassment was almost deadly.
The execution had been almost flawless. The approach and attitude were perfect, of that, there can be no doubts. Problem was, when she did her pounce, the skirt rose up a bit against his wrist and… well, she ended up squeezing his hand between her thighs and her underwear touched his skin directly during their entire exchange.
“I knew I should have worn some cuter ones today!”
“T-that’s your main issue!?”
Our friend was just as huge of an idiot as I could be too, of that, no one could deny either.
◊◊◊
By the time we went to have lunch at the school cafeteria, us girls had mostly calmed down.
Mathilda wouldn’t look at Stephen in the face, so we three were eating away from them.
Violet would only sometimes dwell on us this morning, her pretty face getting hard not to look at, then she’d notice me staring, turn adorably even redder, look away to think about the image I had described for her and…
“Erm, babe? Did you erase what I wrote on your notebook?”
She stopped midway through pushing into my plate what food she thought was too much for her with her eyes locked on me, making sure in her mind that she had indeed erased it before handing it in for Miss Maple to check her homework.
“I didn’t…” she sighed, finishing pushing my share of her food.
Another thing to add to our messy day. It was also being a very fun one, especially when taking account my girlfriend’s and our friend’s expressions any time the embarrassing stuff popped up.
“Anyway girls, about our night-over, I was—”
“Abby, don’t push all the bell peppers into my plate!”
“But they are yucky!”
“What do you mean ‘they are yucky’!? Just a couple of days ago you ate the ones I prepared without kicking a fuss!”
That was because the way Violet prepared them made them taste somewhat good. At least that was what I told her, but she frowned in confusion and said that she didn’t do anything special to them. I then said that she bought some special ones, but again, she said that they were normal ones. In fact, she got the cheapest she could find.
Mathilda jumped, giggling as she had an eyeful of us bickering, and suggested that what made me able to eat the ones Violet prepared was the love she put into it.
“Anyway, our night-over! I was thinking that—”
“Sorry to interrupt, but I want to say something to these two.”
The second interruption was coming from Miss Maple. She was walking by us with her tray of food and having noticed us, she remembered to tell me and Violet not to doodle on each other’s notebooks and that she’d deduct half a point from today’s evaluation for that as a warning.
“Other than that, you’ve done an outstanding work! Keep it up!” she said, giving us a cheering smile before walking away.
We weren’t getting a full twenty score, but a nineteen-and-a-half. Still just as good if you ask me, but Violet might have felt different if she wasn’t so done with the day by now. Instead, she shrugged, choosing indifference to save her energy for the remaining half of the day.
“A-ny-way!” Mathilda repeated for the third time, hammering down each syllable, before stopping out of her own volition. She looked to her left, then to her right, then leaned back and repeated the looking around. Finally, she got to finish what she had been trying to say for the past few minutes.
The plan she had was simple: Violet and I would head to her place in the early morning so that we avoided the heat. Once there, we’d change into our PJs, do our homework until lunch, and after that, we’d “have girly fun” as she put it until dinner. After that, it’d be movies until it was bedtime. Those meals would be ordered, so we didn’t have to worry about cooking at all.
“Hmm… I’m ok with that,” Violet hummed, her opinion being the main deciding factor in us accepting Mathilda’s suggestion or not. “Still, I’d rather at least have a home cooked meal at least. Abby and I can help or even do that.”
“Hmm… a home cooked meal, you say?” Mathilda thought out loud. “Sure, why not! My current nanny usually cooks the same stuff over and over, so I’d appreciate some variety.”
I was reminded of a rumour I had heard once about Mathilda’s home life. Supposedly—and by what she said, it was a fact, her parents hired a new nanny every one to two years. I remembered it because mum said that it was likely because Mathilda was a bad girl and for me to not be like her for a number of reasons she probably came up with just to make me behave a certain way. The reasons she pointed out didn’t stick with me, but I still reminded myself to avoid her if we ever came across each other in a public event mum was also attending. It very rarely was proven that the people mum wanted to keep away from me were actually bad, Mathilda being a great example of that. Sure, she had her quirks, and sometimes said some jokes that were a bit naughty, but so what? She was fun to be around, and a great friend that was always willing to lend an ear, and even when saying dirty stuff, she always respected our boundaries. Maybe I was a bit lenient about the latter “complaint” due to my interactions with Marcus, but even Violet didn’t seem to mind them enough to get really mad at Mathilda. I think that, most of the times, Violet was just showing performative anger to disguise her own embarrassment.
“She really has grown up a lot, hasn’t she?” I wondered to myself as I admired my girlfriend talking with our friend.
Violet was having a somewhat cheerful conversation with Mathilda about what the menu could be. It sure was nice seeing her interact with others with an inner smile, even if on the outside she was her usual cool looking self.
“Shall we take care of the groceries after school?” Mathilda asked as we walked out of the cafeteria, headed to our usual meeting spot with the boys.
“Sorry, we already have stuff that needs doing after.”
“Yeah, we have therapy and need to buy groceries for tomorrow’s family dinner.”
“You two go to therapy together?”
“Yeah, erm, it’s been a while since I joined Abby in one of her sessions, so we thought that it’d be a good idea for me to join today,” Violet explained, her attention being caught by a billboard. “There was also the huge mess I caused last weekend.”
“Hmm… you two sure are a great role model for how couples should act,” Mathilda said, stopping with us and losing herself in her own thoughts.
Violet was looking pensively at an announcement from the school library about looking for people interested in lending a hand. It sounded right up Violet’s alley, so I asked her if she was going to join.
“…Nah, I don’t think I will,” she said, still sounding deep in thought as she resumed walking.
I asked if it was because of me or that it’d cut down our time together, but she assured me that it was only a small part of the reason why she wasn’t joining. She was sure that after two weeks, whatever openings they had, they’d be filled, and that since it was the library, they weren’t that many to begin with.
“I don’t think they’d oppose you sitting with me at the desk anyway,” she said, sounding like she was already dismissing the subject.
Maybe next year she’d join. I’d tie up her hair to give her the sexy librarian look if that came to fruition. We could maybe even go between the shelves with the excuse to put some books back into their place and make-out in a hidden corner?
“…”
Yeah, I’d sure remind her to check for an announcement like this next year.
