Chapter 104 - : Did Something Happen to Mo Qiu?
Chapter 104: Did Something Happen to Mo Qiu?
“Alright.”
Mo Wen wanted to say something, but looking at his condition, he could only send Wu Hao to the hospital.
“Brother Chen, please be careful.” Wu Hao held his injured hand and looked at Moh Yanchen with a pale face.
“Okay.” Moh Yanchen turned around. Wang Chenghao had already parked the car beside him.
“What happened?”
“Let’s move on first.” Moh Yanchen got into the car and drove off.
Mo Wen drove the car and took a detour to go back. Wu Hao seemed to be deep in thought. He held his injured hand and lowered his head to scan the phone fragments that had fallen on the car.
“Mo Wen, quickly check if our system has been invaded by a virus. If not, it’s safe to assume that something has happened to Mo Qiu. If my guess is right, the other party will start with him.” Wu Hao’s expression became more and more unsightly as he spoke.
No one wanted this kind of thing to happen, but if it was the case, it would bring them even greater trouble.
“I’ll send you to the hospital first.”
“The job at hand is more important,” Wu Hao, who was sitting in the back, said in a deep voice.
“If your hand is crippled, then you can only be useless.” Mo Wen’s words were cold. He continued to drive recklessly.
Wu Hao didn’t say a word. Meanwhile, Mo Wen made a call to get in touch with his informant.
In the suburbs, Wang Chenghao was driving along with Moh Yanchen.
Shen Chengjing woke up quietly in the luxurious apartment. By the time she woke up, it was already afternoon. The light from the setting Sun was shining on the glass windows. It resembled a halo that enveloped her body, making her look dazzling.
Zhou Yuncheng had been smoking a cigarette. He flicked the ashes away from his pants out of boredom. The moment he raised his head, he was a little stunned to see Shen Chengjing waking up beautifully in the sunset glow. She looked around in a daze, as though she didn’t know where she was.
“Where am I?” Shen Chengjing sat up quietly and rubbed her eyes, looking around dazedly.
An unfamiliar place, an unfamiliar environment and an unfamiliar man!
She looked at Zhou Yuncheng for a long time before she remembered who he was.
“Sister-in-law.” Zhou Yuncheng heard her voice and suddenly came back to his senses. He laughed dryly to cover up his embarrassment.
Setting the wine glass aside, he put his hands in his pocket, saying, “Brother Chen is out on an errand. He probably won’t be able to make it in time. I’ll send you back.”
Shen Chengjing sat up quietly and tidied her clothes. Then, she remembered the reason she was here.
“I’ll have to trouble you then.” She wanted to refuse, but beforehand, Moh Yanchen had been the one who drove her here. Besides, it was bothersome to get a taxi, so she might as well use him as much as she could.
She could see that Zhou Yuncheng was a little awkward around her. It amused her, as she recalled the day he tried to flirt with her.
“Haha, it’s not a problem, no problem.” Zhou Yuncheng held the car keys and laughed loudly. All of a sudden, he came closer. Shen Chengjing was shocked by his approach.
Before she could ask him what he wanted to do, Zhou Yuncheng spoke, “Sister-in-law, you haven’t told Brother Chen, have you? If he comes to know about what happened last time, he would definitely break my legs.”
“You’re afraid of him?” She was surprised. This person who looked like he was playing with the world, like he was a spoiled rich kid, was actually afraid of Moh Yanchen.
Zhou Yuncheng’s handsome face darkened slightly, and his voice deepened a little. “Of course I am. Even if Wang Chenghao and I combined our forces, we wouldn’t be able to beat him!”
Shen Chengjing found it funny, the way he acted so carefully around her. But she forced herself to contain her laughter. She took her scarf and walked out, speaking coldly, “I have a bad memory, so I often end up saying the wrong things.”
“Sister-in-law, hey, sister-in-law!” Zhou Yuncheng no longer had the playboy attitude with which he interacted with women. He eagerly and anxiously chased after her.
