“Wild Instinct Level 1, activate!”

A layer of armor quickly formed and covered Grimm’s body with scales; there was a wild and barbaric breath within his body that had been released to the surroundings. Suddenly, the wild natural instinct had replaced the noises in Grimm’s head.

Immediately, Grimm had a strong pulse on his dual-colored eyes under his mask—both his eyeballs had turned toward different directions to look and observe the surroundings.

“One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine… twenty-seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine, there were twenty-nine Wolfspiders in total, and twelve of them pounced toward this direction.”

Grimm captured the dynamics of the sight, and took advantage of the differences in terms of speed in sighting between him and the spider; he narrowed down the differences and looked toward the team of Demon-Hunters.

The small team of Level 2 Demon-Hunters, Alxa, and another sorcerer seemed to be less affected and had already summoned their elemental creatures.

Two tall and huge sized creatures were summoned.

One of them was a giant water creature about eight meters tall. It stood up like a standing fountain without any limbs or head and its body was surrounded by sparks of electricity. Water splashes were also frequently heard along with shiny electric arcs that struck across the surrounding area and it seemed to fulfill the characteristics of a Level 1 creature.

Another creature was a treant surrounded by countless rattan randomly covering its body; however, it was not similar to those traditional giants that would usually be hugely sized and slow in physical movement.

Stripes were all over the body of the giant, full of spiky thorns that represented wildness, as if there was an explosive energy accumulated within its body and it seemed to possess the qualities of a Level 2 creature.

Both sorcerers were commanding their giants to face the enemy, while they prepared for other sorcery attacks and during the last moment of their battle, they looked toward Grimm’s team of Demon-Hunters.

The remaining two Level 2 Demon-Hunters seemed to be slightly affected; however, they remained under battle mode and cast a defensive spell to protect themselves.

On Grimm’s end, there were only four of them that remained in battle mode.

Nairo was still affected by the Thought Echo although she had been covering her head with her hands. However, the mysterious black chains around her were still unaffected and seemed to be controlled by a separate consciousness.

After Grimm had activated his wild instinct, the interference of the Thought Echo was perfectly cast away. Suddenly, a loud booming sound was heard. A Savage Flame Giant that was nine meters tall was raised and stood up slowly before Grimm—covered with black and golden flames. It immediately absorbed the earth-elemental energy from the surroundings to form a layer of Lava Armor for protection, along with a Lava Greatsword.

Both the sword and armor were dripping with boiling lava, while covered with red flames.

Roar!

The giant let out a deafening roar. Two faces appeared on the body of the giant, one was covered with explosive golden flames, while another was filled with mysterious dark flames and both of the flames were blazing hot. There were also two giant mouths that were on the chest and the back of the giant, one was smiling and another was crying, both were extremely shocking!

According to the segmentation of the Sorcerer World, the giant was approaching the threshold of a Level 1 creature. In less than two hundred years, it would reach Level 2.

Alxa and another Level 2 sorcerer that had reserved energy, felt slightly relieved when they saw what Grimm had summoned.

There was no doubt in Grimm’s ability, being a Demon-Hunter that was highly recognized by Black Isotta, combined with another three sorcerers were also going against the Wolfspiders, and along with the Level 3 Thousand-eyed Carcinus. With the number of Wolfspiders that were barely Level 1, they did not pose much threat to the team of sorcerers.

On Grimm’s team, there were also two sorcerers that had reserved full battle energy, they were Lou Linman and another spell sorceress that was slightly overweight.

Initially, Lou Linman was about to fall asleep; however, as soon as Leafie entered her ear, her magical power spiked up by folds as if she went through a bloodline transformation. There were a pair of giant parrot wings extended from her back, and then she was not affected by the Thought Echo anymore.

Lastly, the spell sorceress, a Dark Demon-Huntress that had been focusing on discovering soundwave sorcery, shouted. “I need a living Wolfspider as a prime tool, and with that, I would have more than half a chance to form a tool that could disrupt the Thought Echo.”

As the sorceress was speaking, a Wolfspider that was half a meter long quickly faded into shadows and jumped toward her.

The sorceress immediately murmured a sorcery curse and pointed toward the spider with her magic staff—an invisible destructive sound wave pierced through the spider that was merely half a meter long.

Poof!

The spider exploded into tiny pieces in the air and its liquid splashed all over the surroundings. It was similar to what had happened on the cruise when Fake Faceless Nilmar only took a wave of a hand to kill the sailor.

“Take care of them and make sure they don’t die, and later on, each of you will be able to redeem a sorcerer essence from those that you have protected.”

As Grimm spoke, he referred to the Demon-Hunters that had not contributed any of their battle energy.

Before his sentence was completed, he was surrounded by three Fire Bats that were flapping their wings, and they quickly flew toward one of the black spiders.

At the same time, Grimm held his Sabbatic Goat Staff and took a high leap from the back of the Thousand-eyed Carcinus, and he dove toward the Wolfspider that was far behind casting the Thought Echo.

It seemed like the abdomen of the spider that had tear patterns was the hidden part that was used to cast the Thought Echo. From afar, they faced their back toward the others and perform their ‘Confusion’.

On the other end, Alxa, who was also leading her team, took the lead and rushed toward the pack of Wolfspiders that was casting the Thought Echo to interfere with the Demon-Hunters.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Three of Grimm’s Fire Bats exploded on one of the spiders. The explosion released a burst of fire elemental wave that shocked Alxa that was rushing toward the pack of Wolfspiders and she was stunned by the scene.

How could the offensive power of these three fundamental elemental sorceries exceed her offensive power?!

Being a Level 2 sorcerer that already had twice the amount of basic mental strength compared to a Level 1 sorcerer, but how could Grimm, as a Demon-Hunter still achieve such offensive power from the Fire Bats sorcery that he had just cast…

The offensive power was at a shocking level of 600 points!

It was unbelievable, how could this guy possibly unleash such highly destructive offense power from just a basic spell?

There were two main reasons why Grimm’s Fire Bat spell was highly destructive in terms of offensive power.

As a Level 1 elemental sorcerer himself, Grimm was able to deliver 20% from 100 points of mental strength, which was around 18 to 22 points.

For the Fire Bat spell, it had a range of offensive power between 180 to 220 points, combined with the basic spell being moved by Grimm using the rule of leverage to magnify the spell by tenfold.

For Grimm’s Body of Flame, it had not been effective in terms of basic ability and the influence had been growing weak ever since he had become an official sorcerer. Unlike the fire power boost that he used to have when he was still a sorcerer-apprentice, he could feel the draining effect on his mental strength; but for now, he could still have a boost of maximum 80 points of fire power.

As a low-level sorcerer, an added 80 points of fire power was undoubtedly impactful.

The Sabbatic Goat Staff that was held by Grimm was indeed overpowered, especially to a low level sorcerer. Its important feature was that the staff was made from the skull of the World Lord, embedded with the support of a mysterious seal from Black Isotta, and connected with the boundless magical power from Black Isotta.

It was truly an enhanced version of Body of Flame during the time of being an official sorcerer, as all of the offensive power of basic elemental spells were increased by 300, and also the consumption of magical power was reduced by half.

Of course; regretfully, the staff could only last for 7000 years.

Upon exceeding the time frame of 7000 years, the outer link between the staff and Black Isotta would be disconnected, and the inner mysterious seal from Black Isotta would start to disseminate, releasing the Nightmare Shadow…

By that time, the staff that was made from the skull of the World Lord and embodied with mysterious metals would still be considered as rare and superior staff. However, it would no longer perform the same way anymore.

The best advantage that the staff had was its multiplying effect on basic sorceries to produce a horrifying offensive power.

Any basic sorcery that was cast by Grimm would be overpowered in terms of offensive power; the significant amount of offensive power would be equivalent to a powerful Black Sorcerer.

Although Alxa the old witch was shocked by the offensive power from Grimm’s basic sorcery, she still let out a sneer.

Suddenly, a booming sound was heard, the elemental body of the old witch exploded into countless spots of dark green light, and covered the sky above the head of a Wolfspider that was about three meters in length. The light spots regrouped to reform the body of the witch, while one of her palms extended a large number of branches and rattans that covered the spider that was casting the Thought Echo. Without any defenses, the spider was twisted and captured by the witch.

The rattans were like highly agile tentacles that wrapped around the spider while the witch let out her cold sneer, the spider soon shriveled up after its vigorous struggle.

At the same time, the rattans wrapped around the spider began sprouting and filled the surrounding with lively energy.

Among the rattans of the witch that were interweaving each other, a second treant appeared.

However, the giant appeared to be much weaker than the one that was summoned earlier, and it appeared to not even be Level 1.
