A Pervert's Dream Land.
Chapter 70: — The Talk With The Dragoness.
Kael felt a shiver run down his spine at the sound of that dreadful, booming laugh, yet he couldn’t help but feel a surge of delight.
She was the one entity Kael truly trusted—the only one he believed could provide the answers he so desperately sought.
Before he could even offer a proper greeting, her voice rumbled through the void once more. “Brat, I believe you have your awakening ceremony tomorrow?”
Kael nodded, though his mind raced with questions. How could she possibly know the details of his life in the physical world?
He considered the possibilities: either she possessed the ability to peer directly into his memories, or she was somehow tethered to his physical location, capable of eavesdropping on the whispers of Korua.
He leaned toward the former; it felt far more invasive, yet somehow more plausible.
“Yes,” Kael finally replied, his voice steadying. “I do.”
“I have contacted you to give you two mantras. As always, learn them by heart,”
She said, her tone shifting from amusement to a sharp, instructive edge. “Also, I can see you have practiced the mana circulation technique I taught you. Very good, brat. Either you are a truly obedient kid, or you are more scared for your life than you are of us, hahahaha!”
She broke into that same exaggerated, booming laugh, the sound vibrating through the violet void like rolling thunder. Kael could only facepalm, his fingers pressing against his temples.
Even though he knew this ancient entity had only a limited window of time to manifest and connect with him, she still managed to waste nearly half of it laughing at her own jokes.
He waited for the echoes to die down, clearing his throat impatiently. “Ahem… Madam Dragoness, if you would allow me, I have a few questions I desperately need to ask you.”
“Okay! But ask quickly, I have very limited time. You can’t imagine, boy, how much pain I have to go through just to reach out to you. Hmm, hmmm…”
Kael cringed hard, the mental image of the dragoness nodding to herself—self-satisfied and grandiose—making his skin crawl.
It was painfully obvious that if he hadn’t interrupted, this ancient creature would have spent her entire remaining window just listening to her own laughter.
“Yes, Madam Dragoness,” Kael began, cutting straight to the point. “My question is related to the Demoness inside me. What is that entity? She overtook my body and created quite a mess.”
The emerald light hovering in front of him shifted, the sigil rippling and contorting as if she were frowning in deep thought. When she spoke again, the playfulness had vanished, replaced by a chilling, razor-sharp seriousness.
“Did anyone realize that the Demoness came from you?”
Kael felt his pulse quicken at the gravity in her voice. He carefully considered his response before answering. “No, as far as I know. No one actually saw that happen.”
“Hahaha, then there is nothing to fear.” She was instantly back to her boisterous, condescending self, clearly deciding the situation remained under her control.
“But the question is, who was she?” Kael pressed, his voice taut. “I swear, she didn’t have a shred of hesitation about killing those people.”
The dragoness let out a sharp, dismissive snort. “What do you expect her to do? She is a demoness, after all. And regarding who she is… hahaha, guhaha, that is also you, brat! Hahaha!”
Kael stared into the violet void, his expression hardening. Is this dragoness retarded? he thought, his frustration boiling over.
He took a steadying breath, suppressing his irritation to keep the conversation focused. “Can you explain that more clearly?”
“Hmm, there is a lack of time, so don’t put up any counter-questions and just listen,” she commanded, her tone shifting to a rare, grim gravity.
“It was our mistake—or rather, we had no other choice. We interfered with your birth to further our own goals, and the Heavens retaliated by branding you with this defect.”
She sighed, a sound like grinding tectonic plates, before continuing. “The only way to counter it will be to grow stronger and merge your ‘other self’ back into you. I need to provide you with a third mantra; the situation is dire, and next time, you may not be this fortunate. But be warned: that mantra can only help you pacify the demoness somewhat. Ultimately, it will depend entirely on your own willpower to keep her under control.”
Kael found he actually preferred the dragoness when she cut the nonsense and talked business. He had a million burning questions—the “why” behind his birth, the nature of their goals, the reality of his fractured soul—but he knew better than to push his luck.
He would hoard those inquiries for their next meeting.
“I had thought that this was not the time for her to surface,” The Dragoness asked, her voice curious. “What exactly did you do—or what happened—that caused her to emerge?”
He felt the heat crawl up his neck, his face flushing a deep, embarrassed red. There was no way he could admit to the dragoness that he had been so completely lost in the carnal act of fucking his mother’s ass that he had let his guard drop, inadvertently handing over the reins to the Demoness.
The dragoness sensed his hesitation, her emerald presence pulsing with amusement.
“Haha! Okay, keep your secrets, brat. Anyway, we are out of time for this chit-chat. Now, listen carefully. I will repeat each mantra thrice, so remember them well.”
She didn’t wait for a response. The dragoness began to chant, her voice resonating in a strange, ancient tongue that felt like it carried the weight of the stars.
It was a language entirely foreign to Kael, filled with guttural clicks and melodic, vibrating undertones.
Yet, as she spoke, Kael felt a strange, chilling relief. Even though the words were incomprehensible, they imprinted themselves onto his mind with supernatural clarity.
They weren’t just sounds; they were commands he could feel taking root in his very soul, making them shockingly easy to memorize.
Once the dragoness finished, Kael felt the heavy, draining silence of the void settle over him, identical to the exhaustion he had experienced during their last encounter.
“Brat, the first two mantras are for controlling the mana reserves in your body,” she rattled off, her voice rapid as if she were racing against an unseen clock.
“There is a seal placed on your body’s natural capacity to contain mana. I believe you will figure out the uses by yourself; use it if you are ever asked to reveal your mana reserves in front of humans.”
“One more thing: you will be able to utilize the gemstone on your neck after the awakening ceremony. So, familiarize yourself with that. And just one last thing… Don’t die, brat! Hahahahahaha!”
She managed to cram every instruction into a single, breathless stream of consciousness.
Toward the very end, the booming authority in her voice gave way to that familiar, manic cackle, but it trailed off abruptly as if she had been forcefully pulled away.
Kael was left standing alone in the suffocating darkness of his own mind. The brilliant, emerald dragon sigil that had been hanging in the air began to flicker, its edges fraying into wisps of smoke before fading into nothingness.
The void grew silent, and Kael felt his consciousness being pulled back toward the surface, leaving him with the weight of the mantras echoing in his mind and the impending weight of the ceremony just a few hours away.
