Silence returned to the room, broken only by the sound of heavy breathing. Kyro rested on the floor, his mind swirling with the intensity of what he had just witnessed. When he saw his mother lying still and saw the damp patch on the floor, a smirk tugged at his lips.

"She’s passed out," Kyro noted, moving over to help Kael shift her to a more comfortable position. "You really pushed her, Kael. She couldn’t even handle it."

Kael wiped his brow, the adrenaline starting to fade into a slight nervousness. "We have to clean this up immediately," he said, his tone shifting to one of urgency. "If she wakes up and realizes what happened—or sees the state of the room—there won’t be any mercy for us."

Kyro’s laughter died in his throat as the reality of the situation set in. "You’re right," he muttered, shaking his head. "Stupid, I was being stupid."

They moved with practiced efficiency, scrubbing the floor and restoring the room to order before Suna began to stir.

By the time she regained consciousness, Elara had already slipped away, and the room was once again serene.

Suna sat up slowly, clutching her head as a dull pleasant ache throbbed behind her eyes. She felt hollowed out, her body aching with a strange, lingering Pleasure.

Kael and Kyro were waiting for her with a tray of fruit and milk. She accepted the offering without a word, devouring the food to replenish her spent energy.

As she finished, a look of profound satisfaction crossed her face, her limbs stretching as if she had just woken from a long, restful sleep.

"Come here, Kael," she said, her voice smooth. She opened her arms, beckoning him into a hug. "I need to thank you properly. It’s been far too long since I showed you how much I appreciate your... efforts."

Kael and Kyro looked at one another, a cold dread washing over them. Suna’s tone was warm, but her eyes held a sharpness that belied her words.

The "thank you" was short-lived; within moments, the room echoed with the sounds of their discipline. Suna had remembered the game of control he had played, and she was more than happy to reclaim her position of authority, leaving both boys to face the consequences of their audacity.

Kael was returning home from his aunt’s house, walking with such an awkward, stiff gait that he drew the gaze of every passerby. Had anyone caught a glimpse beneath his pants, they would have seen the distinct, reddened handprints marring his butt cheeks.

’Aiiyo,’ he winced, every movement a fresh sting. He had been hurt badly by Suna.

’I swear, Aunt... I will take my revenge for this. In my own time.’

Had anyone warned him that his prank would lead to this, he certainly would have reconsidered, but it was too late now.

He finally reached his home, the pain of his bruised skin rubbing against his pants feeling almost unbearable.

A harsh downside of this world, he reflected, was that it lacked any real concept of child rights.

He pushed through the fence and limped toward the main door. "I’m home, Mom," he called out, his voice tight with discomfort.

When Amber saw Kael limping toward her, her expression shifted to one of immediate concern.

"What happened to you, Kael? Did those bullies hurt you again?"

"No, Mother. It was all done by Aunt," Kael replied, his eyes burning with resentment.

Amber let out a dry, knowing laugh.

"Haha. You must have really set her off this time. What happened?" she asked, prying for details.

"Nothing happened, Mom. Tell me this first—do you still have that medicinal paste that idiot chief gave you?"

Amber frowned at the the mention of him, her brow furrowing. but for now, the priority was the obvious pain he was in.

Amber moved to help Kael ease the pain.

"You lie down there, Kael," she instructed. "I will bring the paste and apply it for you."

Kael pulled his pants down and lay face-down on the bed. Shortly after his mother carefully applied the cooling, medicinal salve to his bruised skin, he drifted off into a deep, exhausted sleep.

His rest was broken hours later by his mother’s voice. It was already night. "Kael, wake up. It’s time for dinner."

While Kael was eating, Amber sat across from him and steered the conversation toward the upcoming event.

"Kael, I hope you are at your absolute best for the ceremony in two days. You know as well as I do that it is the single most important day of your life, so I hope you are fully prepared."

"Yes, Mother, I am," Kael replied with unwavering confidence.

He had been dedicating himself to his training, increasing his meditation time significantly over the last few days.

The mana circulation he had mastered in his dreams had become as effortless as breathing to him. Even now, he was able to manipulate mana without any external guidance or assistance.

With these factors combined, he felt certain about his chances of developing a high degree of mana affinity.

"It is good to see such confidence in you," Amber said, offering him a warm, proud smile.

She paused for a moment before continuing. "Since you decided that you wanted to see your sister, Ruby, I will make sure she knows tomorrow. If everything goes according to plan, you will be able to visit her the day after tomorrow."

She leaned back, her expression softening.

"To be honest, I truly thought you would choose me over anyone else. I’m glad you chose Ruby instead. I was worried you might always be a mother’s boy, preferring to stay in my shadow, but you’ve proven me wrong."

With a chuckle, she reached over and gave Kael a light, affectionate kiss on his cheek.

"You don’t need to worry about anything," Amber said. "Ruby has plenty of experience with sex. You can leave everything to her; she will handle it well. You just need to follow her instructions."

Kael found her words amusing. He wondered, if his mother saw how he had just fucked her sister, would she still treat him like a naive child?

Kael smirked to himself, but he kept his expression neutral and replied, "Yes, Mother, I understand," though he didn’t give her advice much thought.

Later, he helped Amber with the dishes and then went outside to take a walk. He spent the time practicing his breathing and the physical exercises he remembered from his previous life, aiming to improve his overall strength and stamina.

He was careful, however; ever since that accident with the garden grass, he made sure never to circulate his mana while he was in the garden.

It was too risky to practice outside, so he decided he would always perform his training on his bed.

He finally understood why the accident in the garden had occurred; his magic was linked to plants, which was why the grass had reacted so strangely when he practiced there.

That explained why nothing happened when he trained inside the house.

With a peaceful Smile, he lay down and fell asleep after finishing his daily mana cultivation routine.
