Chapter 1684 - 1684: Let's Make It Three
Nefertiti was about to grab Archer’s hand until a horrible aura washed over the floating island, and she knew what it was. Still, it was too late as her husband’s power exploded all around them as he let out a roar that shook the ground, forcing the women to balance themselves before he shot into the air like a rocket.
‘The Terravians are targeting you girls!’ his enraged voice echoed in their minds. ‘Now they’ll learn what a God Killer can do!’
Seraphina couldn’t help but let out a fierce roar as she zoomed after him, red wings cutting through the weather as she went to fly with them, but Brooke stopped her. ”Stay here, Nefi. That realm is poisonous to our kind.”
”Can’t we go with our Dragon forms?” she retorted.
The brunette nodded. ”Yes, you can, but we need your help here, holding back the swarms that will attack now,” she explained, green eyes locked onto the portal the two entered.
Following that, Nala pointed to the distance. ”Looks like we’ve got company still, it’s a two-way attack to try to trick us.”
The six got ready to fight to incoming monsters who looked to destroy the fortress and kill them all. Nefertiti noticed Alexa using a crossbow Dellah made for her; she could harness Archer’s mana to use as powerful bullets. She watched the navy-haired woman fire into the horde.
Seconds later, the projectile struck one of the monsters and detonated in a blinding flash, incinerating everything in its blast radius, shocking the watching soldiers. The creatures were reduced to ash in an instant, yet more surged forward relentlessly, compelling the defenders to unleash their magic.
A barrage of spells erupted from the wall, joined by the Draconian Mages, annihilating over half the incoming swarm. Nefertiti hurled Mana Blasts that killed dozens with each strike before shifting into her Dragon form. She swelled to the size of a manor and plummeted into the horde like a living battering ram.
Talila mirrored her, transforming and charging in the Succubus’s wake, with Elara close behind. All three women fully embraced their draconic power, tearing into the Terravian Swarm until the creatures fell in heaps beneath their claws. Nala changed into her Primal form and started dealing with the creatures that managed to get through the others.
Brooke stayed behind, commanding the defences as she used her powerful magic to deal with any monsters that attacked the Draconians.

In the meantime, Archer and Sera appeared in another Terravian Realm, causing them to smile as he raised a hand, casting an old spell. Meteor Swarm appeared high above him as he aimed it at the closest fortress in the distance. The Violet glow lit up the world as the rocks streaked toward their target.
When the massive projectiles connected with the fortifications, a cataclysmic explosion erupted that would’ve sent the redhead flying, but he cast a shield around them as the enemy was wiped out within seconds. Sera’s eyes widened in shock. ”I haven’t seen that in years, sweetheart.”
”Decided to use some of my old magic,” he answered, a wicked smile crossing his face. ”Now watch this.”
Archer clicked his fingers, activating the spell, Crown of Stars, and several violet motes appeared around them. Seconds later, the magic started firing tiny bolts out as a monster swarm headed in their direction. Explosions erupted all around them, causing panic to flow through the enemy’s veins.
Sera couldn’t just sit by and watch, so she began casting fully charged Mana Blasts into the swarm, killing hundreds. The watching Terravians didn’t know what was happening, so they tried to flee. He sensed this and sent Mana Birds swarming all across their realm, locating every fortress, hideout, and deep caves the enemy were hiding in.
When Archer realized this, his grin grew wider as he descended toward the ground, and the Dragoness stayed in the air, going wild with her magic. He chuckled at her excitement as he opened a portal to the Domain, announcing. ”Come forward, my Swarms! Feast for a lifetime and slaughter my enemies!”
This caught Sera’s attention as millions of Nightmare Ants, Dark Termites, Chull, Giant Cave Spiders, Venomwings, Broodmaw, and Honey Bee Warriors poured out. The monsters washed over the Terravians’ realm. The Dragoness was shocked by the sudden appearance of the hordes.
She glanced at him with wide eyes. ”Why did you bring them out? We could’ve cleared this place ourselves, handsome?”
”Yes, but I want the Terravians to know that I have my Swarms that can match theirs,” he answered. Sera nodded in agreement as a bright smile appeared on her face.
Following that, the Swarms killed everything the enemy sent in their direction. Archer trailed behind as the Dragoness joined in on the fighting. She used her Dragon form to tear apart the bigger monsters. Her claws tore through them with ease, sending blood flying everywhere.
Days passed, the slaughter grew so bad that the Swarms had to start taking the bodies back to the Domain and fill up their Food Chambers, then the outside of their colonies, thanks to the number of corpses. By the time the Terravians started to retreat, trillions lay dead, every mutated human or strange monster they sent against the endless tides of monsters.
Archer was happy as the Swarms could eat for years after their workers processed the bodies, making all the queens happy. By the time they were pushed back, he noticed there was one last fortress being guarded by one of the Terravian’s Gods. This news put a smile on his face as his tail swayed back and forth in excitement.
”Looks like we can wipe out this realm as well,” he commented. ”This is the last place the creatures are hiding; they have no more swarms, and the last survivors are being picked off by the Broodmaw Hunters.”
”Good, those creepy humanoids gave me the shivers,” Sera responded, her tail speeding up as she laughed.
Following that, Archer decided to terrorize the Terravian God and cast another Meteor Swarm, but this time he infused it with Light Mana, causing the bright white rocks to light up the realm before slamming into the shield. Many explosions later, it was cracked and on the verge of breaking.
”What! Shouldn’t it be destroyed!” the Dragoness exclaimed, shocked.
”Look,” he pointed as the shield repaired itself seconds later.
Sera’s jaw dropped, making him laugh as he reassured. ”That’s the point, my love. I want to drain the God inside, then devour him.”
When the woman heard this, her ruby-red eyes widened, and a bright smile appeared on her pretty face as he cast another spell. A violet orb materialized above them, and mana seeped into the thing. Moments later, a loud boom echoed out as it shot a large Mana Blast at the shield.
The projectile slammed into the barrier, cracking it once again, forcing the Terravian God to pour more of its power. Archer’s grin sharpened, equal parts mischief and menace. He flicked his wrist, and the air around his fingers shimmered, threads of violet mana weaving with threads of silver lightning, then laced with a ribbon of crimson flame.
He listened as the elements tried to join together, refusing to blend, until he snapped his fingers. A low, hungry growl rolled from his throat as the three magics fused into a single, unstable sphere that shook thanks to the growing power. ”Mixed bag,” he muttered. ”Let’s see how you like this.”
Sera’s laughter rang like crystal bells. ”Show-off.”
He hurled the sphere toward the Terravians. It spun wildly, crackling, spitting embers and arcs of lightning as it streaked toward the shield. Where the last blast had struck like a hammer, this one screamed a living storm into a fist-sized comet. The barrier didn’t just crack; it shattered in a spiderweb of glowing fissures.
Violet light bled through the fractures, lightning danced along the edges, and tongues of crimson fire licked at the Terravian God’s divine essence. The enemy roared as the shield buckled inward, siphoning power in frantic pulses to hold. Archer was already moving. He dragged a circle in the air with both hands.
Mana poured from his palms in a torrent of gold and shadow. The circle flared, then *folded* into a lance of pure, hybridized magic: starlight solidified into a blade, edged with void-black decay as the enemy shield reappeared, covering the fortress in another desperate go at defending themselves.
”Again,” he said, voice low.
The lance shot forward, punching clean through the shield. It lodged deep, pulsing. The shield convulsed. Cracks raced outward like lightning frozen in glass. The woman stepped beside him, eyes blazing. ”One more?”
Archer cracked his neck. ”Let’s make it three.”
He planted his feet, boots grinding into the scorched earth. The air around him warped, heat and frost blooming in alternating rings as he pulled from every corner of his soul. Violet mana spiraled up his left arm; silver lightning crackled down his right. Between them, a third strand rose.
The woman’s hand brushed his elbow, steadying. ”Don’t tear yourself open,” she warned, voice soft but edged.
”Wouldn’t dream of it,” he lied.
