A Journey That Changed The World

Chapter 1635 - 1635: Evening My Beautiful Wives

Archer spent time with all his children, making sure each one knew they were loved. He was leaning against the bed with the babies lying all over him as he told them a story about Earth. He used his mana to create animals that flew around the kids, who got excited at the scene.

Salina tried to jump up and grab one, only to fall off the bed, but he caught her using his mana. He lifted the blue-haired gremlin until she appeared in front of him. Her big blue eyes were full of love as he spoke. ”Be careful, Salina. What would’ve happened if I didn’t catch you?”

The little girl shrugged, earning a warm chuckle from him as he conjured more wonders to delight the children. Aslan and Tarek nestled close on either side, their heads resting against him. Ravena, forgetting her size, draped herself across his shoulders, but he didn’t mind in the slightest.

While they did this, Amelia, Elise, Evelyn, Kela, and Neoma lay on his sides. Freya, Antonia, Artemis, and Isis took the rest of the place, their heads using him as a pillow or their little hands grabbing his shirt. They loved the hot chocolate and were covered in the sweet drink, causing him to comment. ”You guys need a bath, don’t you? Let me create one now.”

Archer closed his eyes, waving his hand and creating, making the treehouse groan thanks to the new addition. Granting him access to a safe bathroom to clean up his little ones. He used mana to pick them all up, causing the group to giggle in amusement as they floated through the air behind him.

They stepped into the cozy bathroom, warmed by a nearby fireplace. At the room’s heart lay a shallow pool with thirteen small, secure basins for the babies. With a gentle wave of his hand, he magically removed their babygrows and began bathing each child, his magic attending to them all.

After ten minutes, Archer had made sure each child was clean, and he then put them into thick cloths so they wouldn’t get cold thanks to the Long Winter. Following that, he took the thirteen babies into his room just as Amelia’s belly rumbled, catching his attention. ”Are you hungry?”

She nodded, her pink eyes sparkling with delight and mischief. Stunned but quick to act, he carefully retrieved a bottle for each infant, his movements steady as he began feeding them using his magic. Just then, the bedroom door swung open, revealing Mary, Nala, and Ella standing together, their silhouettes framed in the soft glow of the hallway.

As their gazes fell upon him, surrounded by the cluster of babies, bright smiles spread across their faces, eyes alight with unbridled joy and warmth at the scene. The Primordial beauty stepped forward, scooping Antonia into a tight cuddle. The little girl let out a happy noise before hugging her mother.

Archer smiled at this and greeted the ladies. ”Evening, my beautiful wives, come to check on the children?”

Ella nodded, her blue eyes sparkling as she cradled Elise, the baby’s pointy ears twitched with happiness. Nala, the excited lioness, grabbed Aslan and began praising the white-haired boy. Mary approached him and spoke. ”The expedition is going well, we just located the first underwater world and will explore it.”

”Any trouble?”

”Not that I couldn’t handle, husband,” she answered, a knowing smile crossing her face.

Archer laughed at her words. ”Good, the others have run into problems but don’t need my help and keep insisting that I need to rest thanks to the ceasefire.”

”But then there’s the Long Winter,” the older woman continued. ”It’s causing chaos all over the world, even deep underwater. The captain believes it will get worse and go on for years.”

”Maybe,” he said, sighing. ”The coastal cities are at risk; waves have been hitting them for the last couple of months.”

Archer and the women lingered and chatted for a while, their voices a gentle hum in the cozy bedroom, until the baby’s eyelids grew heavy, one by one succumbing to sleep. With a tender smile, he carefully gathered the little ones, arranging them into snug cuddle piles, their tiny forms nestled together for warmth and comfort.

As he watched them inch closer, pressing themselves as near as they could to one another, a quiet joy warmed his heart, etching a contented smile across his face. With the room now hushed, he, too, surrendered to the pull of a peaceful sleep, the gentle breathing of the babies filling the air like a lullaby.

The next morning, Archer woke up as Edith and Meredith appeared in the bedroom. Just as he went to speak, the white-haired beauty interrupted him. ”We need to feed the children. Do you mind bringing them back to the palace?”

”Yes, sorry, I wanted to spend the night with them before I go exploring the empire,” he revealed, slowly climbing out of bed.

Archer stretched as Edith looked guilty. ”I’m sorry, husband. I didn’t know you were leaving again, considering you’ve been around the palace for months.”

”Enjoying the peace the ceasefire has brought me,” he honestly answered. ”I’ve spent most of my life fighting, running, or battling something. This time has been different and I’ve enjoyed it.”

”Can I come with you, please?” Meredith suddenly asked, a hopeful expression crossing her face.

Archer glanced at the blonde. ”Just so you know, I’m traveling on foot and not using teleportation magic?”

”Why” Edith interrupted.

”The peace won’t break for years, and I want to explore, I never got to do it properly,” he responded, an excited glint in his violet eyes.

When the two women heard this, their faces softened as Meredith nodded. ”I don’t mind, how about we invite Malakia? She’s been hanging around the palace for a week now?”

”Go ask her, I’ll bring the children to the nursery with Edith,” Archer said.

The blonde rushed off just as a portal opened and Demacia stepped out, frowning. He turned to the Necromancer and asked. ”What’s wrong, Dem?”

”Big sister took over the lab,” she muttered. ”Said my projects can wait thanks to the Death Tyrants she’s creating.”

”Do you want one of your own?” he offered. ”Or would you prefer to go on an adventure and get out of the Domain?”

Demacia stepped back, looking at him with curious blue eyes. ”Where are you going and who with?”

”Meredith, Malakia and myself,” Archer replied, smiling.

”I’d rather get a new lab, but I won’t have any test subjects,” the Necromancer said. ”There’s over a million at home that I cannot use.”

”We can go to Earth and take all the prisoners once again,” he revealed, smirking. ”I’m sure Anatoly and Ayrenn’s parents want empty prisons.”

The dark-haired woman giggled as she spoke, happy this time around. ”I’ll go pack up some things. Can I meet you at the palace entrance?”

”Go for it.”

Following that, Archer grabbed Edith’s hands and made sure the sleeping babies were nearby before teleporting back to the palace. When they appeared in the nursery, the older woman began tending to the children as four other maids stepped inside. The women bowed to him as he said goodbye to the white-haired woman.

Edith gave him a tight hug and rushed back to Freya, who needed changing. He left the room only to bump into Meredith and Malakia. The older lioness smiled at him. ”Hello, husband. I’m glad you thought of me for this journey, but there’s one issue.”

”And that is?”

”I need a disguise, I want to travel without issues and not to be pestered by people for being the empress,” she informed.

Meredith nodded in agreement. ”It will cause problems, or the citizens might not show their real selves if they know it’s us.”

Archer thought and agreed minutes later. ”Those are good points, okay, I’ll use my magic to change our looks, and we’ll keep that up until returning to the palace? I want to experience what we built with my own eyes.”

”That’s fine with me,” Malakia answered, smiling. ”It will be good for you, things are changing out here, Arch, and I’m sure the world will follow.”

Following that, the three made their way to the entrance, grabbing some stuff and storing it in the Item Box. After an hour of waiting, Demacia reappeared with a backpack stuffed to the brim. This made the group laugh as Archer took some of the weight while filling her in on the plan.

The Necromancer smiled. ”Good, not many people are like you, and hate my kind, it would be good to hide who I am,” she reassured.

Archer stepped back and cast his magic on them all. His hair changed to blonde with bright green eyes. His pointy ears returned to human ones, surprising the women who smiled at his transformation. Next was Meredith, whose hair turned silver, and her eyes turned red, making her look different from her original form.
