A Journey That Changed The World

Chapter 1598 - 1598: You Four Are Devils

Archer woke up the next morning to Antonia sitting on his chest. A smile stretched across his face as he greeted the little girl. ”Good morning, my little darling. Been up for long?”

A gummy smile appeared, and she started clapping her hands with an excited expression, making his heart race as he sat up. He held the white-haired little girl who snuggled up in his embrace. As this happened, Salina and Isis woke up while Tarek was snoring, the boy’s feet were up against the side of the cot.

This scene made him chuckle at his son’s silly sleeping position. He made him more comfortable by wrapping a blanket around the boy. Once that was done, he began feeding the girls, with Isis going first. The little girl had beautiful, gleaming pink eyes that stared at him, her gaze full of love.

Archer leaned over and kissed her on the forehead, making her happy as he scooped her into his arms while taking out a bottle. He began feeding the white-haired girl, while doing this, he kept the other two busy by randomly chatting to them about his time back on Earth, only to remember Alexa.

‘Once I finish with these I’ll go see her,’ he thought, a small smile on his face as he remembered his childhood love.

He sent her a message using the dragon tattoo, and the navy-haired beauty understood and reassured him that everything was fine. Archer would go see her soon to surprise the young woman. Afterward, he turned his attention back to Antonia and Salina, who were staring, prompting him to create a bunch of mana monsters.

In a whirlwind of excitement, the creatures swirled around his daughters, their eyes sparkling with delight as the vibrant beings danced in the air. Under his skillful control, the enchanted entities moved quickly, weaving patterns that captivated the girls’ imaginations and filled the moment with magic.

While Archer did that, he continued feeding a happy Isis. The white-haired girl held onto his hand as if to tell him not to pull away. This put a smile on his face before speaking to the cute baby. ”I’m not going to steal your food, Isis. I have tons of bottles with special milk to give to you and your siblings.”

Soon, she grabbed his finger and stared into his eyes as she drank the milk. Salina and Antonia were trying to catch the mana monsters. Soon enough, Tarek woke up, crying about something that caught everyone’s attention. The blue-haired little girl turned around and patted her brother’s back, babbling unintelligible noises that only they could understand.

The boy stopped and scooted toward his sisters. Antonia suddenly hugged him along with Salina. This picture made Archer’s heart explode, and the biggest smile appeared on his face as he spoke. ”You siblings are amazing, you all care for each other.”

As he spoke, he noticed Tarek leaned in to envelop both his sisters in a warm hug, their eyes widening in surprise. He let out a soft chuckle, planting a gentle kiss on each of their cheeks before turning his attention back to feeding Isis. When she finished, he carefully lifted her to his shoulder, patting her back until she released a surprisingly loud burp.

The siblings erupted into giggles at the sight. Isis joined in, chuckling as he scooped up blue-haired Salina and began feeding her. Archer patiently fed each child until their bellies were full and their energy spent. All of them were tired, letting out adorable yawns, but he noticed they were all dirty.

With a pulse of mana, he lifted the four babies, cradling them in the air as he spoke, a playful grin crossing his face. ”Alright, little gremlins, time to clean up, you’re all covered in milk and who-knows-what!”

His smile faltered slightly as he changed each wriggling baby; they were squirming like worms. Tarek was the worst, deliberately thrashing about and sending his sisters into fits of laughter. Archer, now splattered with mess and exasperated, fixed his son with a mock glare. ”You little goblin, hold still, or I’ll tickle those tiny feet until you’re helpless!”

The little boy flashed a gummy grin, pink eyes sparkling, before he stilled, letting Archer continue the task of changing him. For a moment, peace reigned, and he let out a relieved sigh, thinking he’d won the battle. But Tarek couldn’t resist for long. His tiny body squirmed once again, wriggling with defiance as he kicked his legs, making the task nearly impossible.

His sisters, watching from their perch, erupted into delighted cackles, egging him on. Archer, feigning exasperation but unable to hide the amused twitch of his lips, leaned down with a playful glint in his eye. ”Oh, you little swindler, you think you can mess with me?”

Without warning, Archer’s fingers darted to the boy’s tiny feet, tickling them. The boy’s giggles erupted, high-pitched and infectious, filling the room with the sound of pure joy and delight. His small body shook thanks to the laughter, and his sisters joined in, their own giggles mixing with his.

He couldn’t help but chuckle, his heart swelling at the sight of his children’s happiness, even as he shook his head at Tarek’s antics. Following that, Archer grabbed them all using his magic and headed toward the bathroom to wash the babies. After half an hour and a ton of chaos, he had them all wrapped in towels.

”You four are devils,” he teased, drying Tarek’s pink hair.

This made the little boy laugh, but he booped the baby’s nose and whispered into his tiny ear. ”I love you, son.”

Tarek’s violet eyes shone, and he reached out, hugging his face. Archer felt emotional when feeling the amount of love coming from the boy. He hugged his little body before moving on to his sister. He waved his hand, and Isis appeared in front of him just as she babbled happy noises.

”I’ll dry your hair now and take you to my room,” he reassured the girl. ”We can sleep while waiting for your mothers.”

Archer gently dried Isis’s fluffy white hair, the soft strands catching the light as he worked. Her wide, pink eyes sparkled with curiosity, fixed on him the entire time, full of a mix of trust and adoration as he carefully patted her dry. Following this, the wriggling Salina appeared in front of him once he made sure Isis was comfortable next to her brother.

He dried her long, blue hair before moving on to a quiet Antonia. He noticed she was falling asleep, letting out a loud yawn, prompting him to speak. ”Don’t worry, little lady. We’ll be sleeping soon.”

Moments later, Archer surveyed his four little ones, now clean and swaddled in soft towels. Their eyes, some sparkling, others heavy, gazed up at him, tugging at his heart. He used his mana to create carriers around the babies, lifting them into the air. ”Alright, my little gremlins,” he warmly said. ”Time to head to bed.”

The babies giggled and cooed as they floated gently, their tiny hands reaching out to grasp at the strands of mana. Archer guided them through the cozy, dimly lit hallway of the quiet palace to his room, the soft creak of the floorboards under his steps blending with their sleepy murmurs.

Following that, the familiar scent of lavender and cedar filled the air as he pushed open the door to his bedroom, where a large, inviting bed awaited, piled high with soft blankets and pillows. Carefully, he lowered the babies onto the bed, dismissing the mana with a single thought.

One by one, he tucked them in, their small bodies nestling close to him. Isis curled up against his side, her fluffy white hair tickling his arm. Salina, still squirming slightly, settled with her head on his chest, her blue hair splayed out like a halo. Antonia, nearly asleep, snuggled into the crook of his arm, her soft breaths steady and calm.

Tarek, sprawled across Archer’s lap, one tiny hand clutching his shirt as if to anchor himself. He leaned back, his heart swelling as he felt the warmth of his children pressed against him. Their soft coos and sleepy sighs filled the quiet room, a soothing lullaby that eased his own tired soul.

He brushed a gentle hand over each of their heads, whispering. ”Sleep tight, my little ones.” One by one, their eyelids fluttered shut, their breathing slowing into the gentle rhythm of slumber.

Surrounded by the warmth of his four babies, Archer’s own eyes grew heavy, and with a contented sigh, he drifted off, enveloped in the love of his little family. They were covered by a soft blanket as the wind outside battered the windows. Rain began shortly after; the pitter-patter of it hitting the glass relaxed him even more.

By the time their mothers reappeared, they couldn’t and wouldn’t disrupt it. But Teuila quickly noticed the other children had been giving to him during the night. The babies were all over an unbothered Archer.
