Chapter 1585 - 1585: Maybe You Should?
Archer reappeared in the tent alongside Belle, surprising the twins, whose heads snapped toward the three babies in his arms. They were all smiling, kicking their feet in excitement, thanks to spending time with their father. Cece was the first to jump up, exclaiming. ”Oh my god! They’re so cute!”
”Look at their white hair!” Sasha added, rushing up to Neoma and Kela. ”I can’t believe they have grey skin like in the anime!”
Belle’s laughter rang out as she reveled in the shared joy of the moment. Eager to join in the pampering, she stepped closer, her eyes sparkling as Archer carefully passed the babies to the trio, introducing each with a proud grin. ”Meet my eldest daughter, Freya,” he said, his voice full of affection. ”She’s Sia’s little girl, and already stealing hearts across the empire.”
Moments later, he handed Freya to Sasha, who cradled the baby in her arms, her fingers instinctively brushing against the infant’s soft white hair. The baby’s features glowed under the attention, and Sasha couldn’t help but coo softly. ”Oh, aren’t you just the most beautiful little thing?” she murmured, full of awe.
She playfully tickled the little girl’s tiny belly, eliciting a flood of delighted giggles from the baby, who then nestled her head comfortably against her chest. The sight was so heartwarming that it drew a chorus of laughter from everyone in the room, the sound filling the air with pure, unfiltered joy.
Archer’s smile widened as he turned to Cece, his eyes softening as he carefully placed another bundle in her arms. ”And this,” he said warmly. ”Is Neoma, my second eldest. She’s Hecate’s daughter, and don’t let those sparkling blue eyes fool you, she’s as lively as they come.”
Neoma, with her curious gaze and bouncy energy, seemed to light up the room. Cece’s face lit up as she held the baby close, marveling at the way Neoma’s tiny hands reached out, as if eager to explore the world. After that, Archer glanced at Belle alongside Kela, who was watching the blonde with her big red eyes.
”Belle, this is my third-oldest kela, Neoma’s twin sister,” he introduced, handing the smiling baby over.
Archer stepped back, looking at his daughters and introducing, pointing at the twins. ”They’re your mothers but live here on Earth, and this is Belle.”
The babies glanced up at the women holding them, then their gazes landed on the blonde, whose cheeks went red as she spoke. ”It looks like they’re waiting for us to confess or something.”
The twins giggled as Cece teased her friend. ”Maybe you should? Arch doesn’t like waiting around for a beautiful woman.”
Sasha agreed with a nod, adding wood to the fire. Belle’s face was as red as a tomato, making Archer laugh before he came to her defence. ”Leave her alone, you two. She can do whatever she likes because I assume you’ve told her about the tattoos?”
The young women shook their heads. ”No, we were waiting to ask you if we should,” Cece explained.
He nodded, prompting the twins to turn toward the blonde, lifting their shirts, revealing two dragon tattoos, brilliantly designed and looking beautiful, which surprised Belle. Her red eyes opened wide as she muttered. ”They’re so cool! Did you do them, Arch?”
”No, they appeared when we were ravaged by him,” Sasha responded first. ”It’s a lifelong commitment, and makes sure we’re all loyal.”
”Plus, we can feel his love for us!” Cece exclaimed.
Archer turned to the blue-eyed beauty, a playful grin spreading across his face as he showered her with charming, sweet nothings. Her cheeks flushed a vivid crimson, and she hurried off, carrying Neoma, their giggles echoing behind them. He chuckled at her flustered reaction before shifting his gaze to Belle.
”Dragons have their traditions, bonding with their mates and all that,” he said. ”But unlike some of my kind, I actually care about those I love.”
Following that, Bella gave a nod of understanding as they went to join Cece and played with the babies who were enjoying their time with their newfound mothers. Hours passed, and they started getting sleepy. Sasha was the first to return, holding Freya, the little girl was letting out adorable snores.
Archer took the sleeping baby as the young woman commented. ”Little Freya is so adorable, Arch. Thought there’s one thing, why does she feel so much older than she looks?”
He was just about to reply when the other two joined him with two sleeping girls in their arms, causing him to explain to the trio. ”Babies on Thrylos are a lot stronger than ones on here thanks to the world bathing them in mana.”
”Why would it do that?” Belle mumbled, a thinking expression on her face.
”Because of me,” he revealed. ”I’m its favorite, chosen if you wish, and it has strengthened my children once they were born.”
When the three heard this explanation, they glanced at the babies and nodded in agreement as Belle spoke. ”Well, that’s not surprising, the MC does get a lot of supporters from strange powers.”
The group burst into laughter at the blonde’s witty remark. Afterward, Archer gently gathered the girls into his arms, ensuring they were comfortable. Moments later, he returned to the palace on Thrylos, where their mothers awaited, ready to embrace them. Sia stood up, beaming. ”Welcome back, handsome. Did the twins enjoy the time with these gremlins?”
”They loved them,” he replied, handing her Freya. ”The girls like Cece and Sasha but kept staring at Belle, especially this little one.”
Archer poked the little white-haired girl, who started giggling as he continued. ”Looks like someone was listening.”
Freya burst into giggles, squirming playfully in an attempt to wriggle free from her mother’s gentle hold. The older woman kept her close, smiling as the little girl let out a deep yawn. Sia chuckled softly at the sight. ”Looks like she had a blast, but she’s worn out now.”
Following that, Archer took Neoma and Kela back to Hecate, who wanted to feed them but needed to change the girls into their bedclothes, waking them up. They looked at him with tired, gummy smiles. ”My little ladies, I’m taking a break from the pesky war and will be back in a day or two. Is that alright with you both?” He asked the twins.
The Moon Elf giggled at this and spoke up. ”They can’t talk yet, Arch, but see how intrigued the girls are?”
Archer noticed they were staring at him, eyes full of curiosity and love, putting a smile on his face as she tickled both girls’ bellies, making them erupt in a fit of giggles. ”You think I won’t attack you both like I did with your sister? You got another thing coming!” He exclaimed, in a silly voice that started them off.
Hecate’s grin broadened as the twins squirmed and rolled across the bed, giggling in their attempt to escape. He gently caught their tiny feet, holding them still with a playful chuckle, sending their excitement skyrocketing. A few minutes later, noticing their yawns and drooping eyes, he scooped them up and passed them to the grey-skinned woman.
”Here you go, gorgeous. Looks like these two need some milk before they drift off,” he suggested.
”That they do,” she answered, standing up and taking her daughters. ”I’ll feed and put them to bed, you go enjoy your break. Ashoka and the others told me how hard you’ve been working the last few years.”
He chuckled at this but leaned forward to kiss the Moon Elf, who happily reciprocated the love-filled gesture. Once they broke apart, he spoke. ”I’ll make sure to come see you soon, we can spend some time together.”
”Of course,” she said, with a big, bright smile. ”I’d love to do that, Arch.”
”Perfect! Once I’ve seen Alexa, I’ll swing by to pick you up for a date somewhere on Earth, your choice,” he said. ”There’s a whole world of places we could explore together.”
When Heacte heard this, her red eyes opened, filling with love as she nodded. ”That sounds good, what about my skin and eyes?”
”I can use my mana to create a human shell that everyone else will see, but I’d see the real you, though,” he suggested.
Following that, Hecate happily agreed to the date and went to feed the twins, a big smile stretching across her pretty face. He smiled at this until returning to Earth, where he materialized in the tent, shocking the three women, but he instantly realized the weather had gotten bad.
”Arch!” Cece shouted, catching him off guard. ”Are the babies okay?”
”No need to be so loud,” Sasha scolded her sister.
She then looked at him, a hopeful expression crossing her face. ”I hope the other women were okay with us seeing them?”
”Yes, the others wanted you to meet them,” he answered honestly. ”Sia and Hecate were happy.”
”Good,” the twins said at the same time. ”We thought they’d be pissed off or get jealous.”
