A Journey That Changed The World

Chapter 1580 - 1580: That's Part Of The Job

Archer stopped talking to the three women as Aisha sent him an update about the empire through the dragon tattoo. Everything was fine, and the Alliance had stopped attacking the Orientia wall. The legions are all holed up thanks to the snow appearing while the navy was docked in the empire’s docks.

A smile appeared on his face as he came back to reality, only to see the national park where they were meeting the twins’ friends. Belle turned to him, smiling. ”Are you nervous about meeting their group? They are the popular girls at the college.”

”No. I meet empresses and princesses all the time,” he answered, chuckling. ”Most of my wives are someone special on Thrylos.”

When the platinum blonde woman heard this, her eyes widened as Cece added. ”Yes, and they’re all gorgeous. I’ve met some of them when Arch has brought some over during his quick trips back.”

Following that, Sasha pulled onto a quiet road where there were barely any lights. Archer became wary, but Cece commented. ”Don’t worry, handsome, we’ve been coming here for a year now.”

”Are the people there?” he questioned.

”Not yet, they’re on the way,” Belle revealed as her phone pinged.

Archer turned to the young woman who had a big smile on her face as she revealed. ”Looks like people are loving the selfie,” she glanced at him. ”They think you’re cosplaying as an MC from a villain novel.”

”Huh?”

The twins began laughing just as Sasha’s phone rang, prompting her to pick up and put it on loudspeaker. ”Hello Mother, what’s up?”

”Arch!” Isabella shouted. ”When are you coming out with me and Micha? Those cheeky girls should’ve gone after us.”

Archer chuckled at the older woman’s words as he revealed. ”I’ll spend a day or two with the twins, then you two. Is that alright?”

”Yes,” she excitedly answered. ”Remember you need to go see Elizabeth, she’s busy but misses you now she’s the president again. How did you manage it?”

”Butchered a few people and destroyed a city or two,” he casually replied. ”It was nothing much.”

Belle turned to him, looking shocked, but Sasha interrupted. ”What do you expect when you anger a dragon? They were stupid for coming for us after seeing the destruction you caused in Europe.”

Just then, the car pulled into a massive car park with a ranger shack off to the side. There was a light on, meaning someone was in. This caused Cece to sigh as she muttered. ”The park rangers will stop us again, especially if that bitch is there.”

”Doubt it when she sees Mr. Dragon over here,” Belle added, giggling. ”Her stone heart might melt at the sight of him.”

”Stop with that shit, woman,” Archer growled. ”I’m not some object to be fawned over, but a ruler of my own realm and even have gods trembling at my power.”

When Belle heard this, she quietened down as a charming smile crossed his face. ”But don’t worry, I won’t let this human kick us out.”

The platinum blonde beamed as Sasha concluded while parking up. ”We won’t let anyone come near you, love. Most of the girls have boyfriends; they’ll just be fascinated seeing someone like you.”

”I suppose,” he muttered.

Following that, the car was turned off as Cece leaned over the back, showing off her sexy cleavage. Giving him the perfect show as she pulled out some alcohol with a cheeky smile on her face. ”We need something to pass the night, it’ll be warm enough to sleep under the stars,” she revealed.

Archer’s eyebrow rose. ”I have a magic tent from the dwarves, it will amaze anyone who sees it.”

Cece giggled, leaning forward and giving him a sensual kiss, surprising Belle as her eyes narrowed, laced with jealousy. After they broke apart, he moved toward the blonde and suddenly kissed her as well. A shiver ran down the young woman’s back, but she reciprocated the gesture.

Her hands were resting on his chest just as Sasha teased. ”Come on, you two, no sex in the backseat.”

His head snapped up, and he watched the brown-eyed twin who sauntered toward the nearby lake until a stern voice echoed across the car park. ”The park is closed! What are you two doing here again!”

Cece cringed and hid the bottles behind her back, but he waved his hands, making them vanish into his Item Box, shocking the blue-eyed beauty. That’s when he got out of the car alongside Belle just as the stranger spoke again. ”Cece and Sasha Bennett! You better not cause any trouble again.”

Archer spun around, his gaze locking onto the park ranger standing before him. Her orange hair cascaded in soft waves, catching the dying sunlight like a fiery halo, but it was her face that truly captivated him, strikingly beautiful, with high cheekbones, a delicate jawline, and eyes that sparkled with a quiet confidence.

Her figure was nothing short of breathtaking, curves accentuated by the crisp, tailored lines of her ranger uniform, which hugged her form in a way that seemed almost unfair to the natural world around her. The deep green fabric, adorned with subtle insignia, only enhanced her allure.

His eyes widened, momentarily lost in the sheer presence of this human, whose beauty seemed to rival the women back on Thrylos. The older woman turned to him, and her green eyes widened. The twins giggled as Cece chirped. ”See! Maybe Scarlett will join us this time?”

Just before anyone could say anything, someone interrupted them. ”Ranger Green! What’s going on?” A male’s voice sounded from the shack.

The woman he guessed was Scarlet, replied. ”Nothing wrong, Ben, just a newcomer to the national park needs some help.”

”You got it?!”

”Yes!”

Following that, the older woman, who looked to be in her thirties, turned her gaze to him. ”Who are you? I’ve never seen you with these girls. I even know Darlene’s Belle, who’s hiding behind you,” she questioned.

Archer approached and held out his hand. ”Archer Wyldheart, I’m the twins’ boyfriend and just met Belle a while ago.”

Scarlett looked at the gesture and took hold, introducing herself. ”I’m Scarlett Green, Rocky Mountain National Park Ranger and guide.”

”So you take people on hikes and that sort of stuff?”

”Yes, that’s part of the job, but the main question is, will you be causing trouble tonight?” She asked.

Archer shook his head. ”Not at all, I’ll make sure everything stays good and respectful. Let’s just say im good at herding large groups of people.”

The older woman nodded. ”I’ll hold you to that, Archer Wyldheart. It was nice meeting you, have a good night.”

Following those words, Scarlet walked off, leaving the three other women in shock as Belle mumbled. ”She looked like a teenage girl in front of her crush.”

”Why was she so polite to him?” Sasha was the next to speak.

Their reactions made Archer laugh before bringing them back to the present. ”So, girls, what’s the plan? Just wait in the car park or go to that sweet-looking lake over there?”

Sasha shook her head as a bright smile appeared on her pretty face. ”There are benches and a firepit we can use, but I don’t have a lighter or matches though,” she revealed, and an adorable frown appeared.

”Are you forgetting what I am?” He questioned the brown-eyed twin.

Cece leaned in with a playful smirk, her eyes glinting with mischief. ”Arch, she’s been pent-up for ages,” she teased, voice low and teasing. ”My kitty’s feeling neglected, and it’s high time you gave us some proper attention.”

Belle’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson at Cece’s words, while Sasha let out a soft giggle. She sauntered toward Arch, her hands grazing his chest before trailing downward, a suggestive spark in her gaze. ”So, what do you say, love?” she murmured, her voice a seductive whisper. ”Care to indulge your needy wife?”

”How long until your friends get here?”

”An hour,” the brown-eyes beauty responded.

Archer didn’t say anything to Sasha but looked at the other two women. ”Can you two set up?”

Cece eagerly nodded, asking. ”Of course, handsome. Just don’t forget about me.”

Following that, Sasha grabbed his hand, dragging him toward a nearby trail before inquiring. ”Can your magic create something comfortable that will keep us warm?”

He looked at her and was curious, ”Yes? I can make a veranda sort of thing. I’ve done it back on Thrylos.”

”Good,” she beamed. ”Now keep up with me.”

The two of them walked for some time until Sasha led him toward a secluded clearing that they had to take some sharp turns to get into. Once there, Archer was amazed by the area’s beauty and admired it. ”This place looks good,” he muttered. ”Peaceful if it wasn’t for Cece’s screams.”

”I know she gets too excited,” she replied, giggling. ”Probably annoying Belle again.” Ths chapter is updated by novel[f]ire.net

Archer chuckled at this but agreed with a nod. ”That woman is a terror and likes to tease me,” he revealed.
