Chapter 1562 - 1562: I Remember That
Archer watched the High-Elf Ayrenn’s violet eyes widen in shock. Soon enough, the fleet started moving forward, letting their crews go wild as the cannons erupted even more and peppered the landscape. He chuckled as she turned to him in shock before shaking her head.
”Why are these things so powerful?” she asked.
”Magic and invention,” a smooth voice replied.
Archer and Ayrenn turned around to see his dwarf wife, Dellah. He stepped forward and hugged the smaller woman. She loved the affection and melted into his embrace. The older woman grabbed his cheeks and gave him a passionate kiss. He happily returned the gesture while holding her curvy waist.
When they broke apart, she spoke. ”It’s good to see you, husband. I know we’ve both been busy, but would you like to spend some time together?”
”Of course.”
Following that, Archer turned to a shocked Ayrenn before introducing the two women. ”Ayrenn, this is one of my wives, Dellah Wyldheart, leader of the Ironfoot Clan.”
The dwarf woman gave the High-Elf a warm smile as he continued. ”Dellah, this is one of my newest wives, Ayrenn Wyldheart. She saved me a few times when I was younger and was locked up for it.”
When Dellah heard this, her yellow eyes widened, muttering. ”You’re the locked-away princess the others spoke about.”
Ayrenn laughed. ”That’s me, and I heard you’re a great inventor. Designed many of the Draconian weapons.”
”And ships, planes, and underwater machines,” Archer added, a proud smile stretching across his face.
”Not surprising, you Dwarves are well known for your magic inventions,” the High-Elf commented.
Dellah nodded in agreement. ”Of course, and the Ironfoots are the best before we were kicked out of the northern continent.”
”Don’t worry, you’ll return soon,” he reassured the older woman.
Moments later, the booming of cannons shattered the #silence, their fiery blasts illuminating the sky as the fleet got close to the shoreline. The barrage intensified, a storm of iron and flame hammering the vessels. Archer, his brow furrowed, let out a weary sigh. Raising his hand, he created a barrier around the ships.
It is absorbing the brunt of the onslaught and easing the strain on their shields. As the fleet inched closer to land, transport bays hissed open, unleashing a swarm of landing craft that surged forward, their engines roaring like beasts unleashed. The vehicles tore across the water toward the enemy’s fortified defenses, kicking up sprays of foam in their wake.
From the cliffs above, a hail of glowing spells arced through the air, aimed at the advancing landcraft. But the Draconian Mages met it head-on. With gestures and incantations, they used counterspells that clashed midair, bursting into radiant explosions that lit up the sea like a second dawn.
At the forefront of the charge, a towering Dragonkin warrior leapt onto the roof of his landcraft, his scales glinting under the flickering light of distant fires. He threw his head back and unleashed a roar, a sound that seemed to ripple through the very air, reverberating with magic.
The shockwave shattered most of the projectiles, their fragments dissolving into sparks. Arrows, launched in desperate volleys from the enemy’s ranks, clattered uselessly against the landing craft’s reinforced shields, their tips blunted by the resolve of the Draconians’ mages.
Archer watched this with a proud smile. Ayrenn was shocked by the raw power of the cannons, and Dellah giggled. ”These machines are deadly; it took me half a year to come up with their design.”
”I remember that,” he responded. ”You stayed in your workshop for so long, I had to drag you out on a date.”
The older woman couldn’t help but give him a bright smile just as Maeve and Inara approached. The orange-haired beauty spoke, yawning. ”We’re going to get some sleep; this pregnancy is taking its toll on me.”
”Same, handsome,” the lioness added, stretching her arms. ”This little cub is eating at my mana, leaving me low every morning.”
When Archer realized this, he sent two streams of mana into the woman. They sighed in relief, and Inara gave him a big smile before suddenly hugging him. ”Thank you, husband! That pain has been annoying me,” she whispered.
A shiver ran down his spine as her breath brushed against his ear. After that, the two women stepped onto the ship, leaving him, Ayrenn, Dellah, and Ashoka, who now joined them with a curious expression. Her tail slowly swayed behind her as he questioned. ”What’s on your mind?”
”I believe the Alliance has absorbed the continent and my old homeland,” Ashoka answered. ”It doesn’t matter because we’ll take the entire continent.”
”You’re right, and it won’t take us long,” he reassured the tigress. ”We’re bringing thirty legions being led by Elara’s 1st, the best in the entire empire.”
When Ashoka listened to his words, her tail swayed even faster as she leaned in and kissed his cheek. Following that, Dellah grabbed their hands. ”Let’s go get some rest while the soldiers set up a beachhead. If the enemy knew we were here, they’d go nuts.”
”That’s right,” Ayrenn added from behind. ”I heard they’ve put bounties on husband and the whole harem; the enemy soldiers take it seriously as well.”
Archer began laughing and waved off her concern. ”The harem are never alone or can even be captured thanks to the dragon tattoos.”
He said just as the High-Elf vanished and materialized in his arm, making the young woman yelp in surprise. This made everyone laugh as he leaned down, giving the blonde a passionate kiss, making her stiffen, but she quickly reciprocated, causing Dellah to whistle and Ashoka to giggle.
The group of four entered a private lounge reserved exclusively for them, a common feature on most vessels due to Archer and his harem’s regular travels. Once inside, Archer settled into a plush chair, gently setting Ayrenn down. The older woman busied herself preparing tea, while the exhausted tigress curled up and drifted into sleep.
”So these are the famous harem cabins I’ve heard about,” the High-Elf commented, glancing around with wonder in her eyes.
”That they are,” Dellah answered. ”I specifically added these things so we can travel in peace.”
Ayrenn looked amazed before questioning. ”Can anyone enter?”
”No, it’s connected to the dragon tattoos, or they have to be invited,” the older woman revealed. ”It’s a security measure that will stop the enemy coming in if they were to invade the ship. Powerful golems would activate to kill them.”
Archer laughed at the Dwarf’s words but agreed. ”It was an idea we came up with after drinking for twelve hours.”
”I remember that night, the workers complained the next morning. Claiming they couldn’t get any sleep thanks to the banshee screams,” Dellah giggled.
The High-Elf’s cheeks went red, but he threw her a lifeline. ”Don’t tease Ayrenn Del, but enough of all that, when will that tea be done?”
”A few minutes,” she answered.
Ayrenn turned to him, smiling before she mouthed. ”Thank you.”
Following that, the three of them began chatting over tea as the sound of the cannons above erupted. Archer sent out a flock of Mana Birds to watch the battle unfold, thanks to the little creatures spread out. He noticed the landing craft had already hit the beach, but the legions were being pinned down.
With a smirk, he sent some of the birds into the fortifications, holding back the wave of Draconians. When the mana-filled beasts slammed into the stone walls, explosions tore through them. They crumbled and fell down the cliffs, giving his soldiers the break they needed to push forward.
Just then, he felt someone touching him as he opened his eyes to see Dellah looking at him with a concerned expression. ”Are you okay, Arch? You spaced out for a moment?” she asked.
”I’m good, just been helping with the invasion’s advance,” he said with a head shake, springing to his feet.
Archer stretched, wincing slightly. ”Time for some sleep. My body’s screaming, probably from Sera gripping my hand like a vice during labor.”
Dellah and Ayrenn chuckled, bidding him goodnight as he slipped into a nearby room, collapsing onto the plush bed and drifting off instantly. Sometime later, the two women joined him in bed after chatting. The Dwarf woman lay on his right side, the High-Elf on his left.
The duo began touching him all over, waking Archer up, only to see Dellah’s glowing yellow eyes gazing at him full of lust. This put a smile on his face as he leaned in to kiss the older woman while his hand roamed down Ayrenn’s body. The blonde shivered in delight, thanks to continuing where they left off.
As he reached her panties and began rubbing, Ayrenn clutched his arm tightly, her breath catching. She bit down on his shoulder, muffling her moans. ”Mmmmghh~~ Arghhh~~ Ohhhnnmmm~~.”
Pleased with her reaction, Archer slipped inside and started rubbing her clit, only to realize she was soaking wet. Her love juices poured out and covered his hand as she moaned once again.
