A Gamer's System: My Team of Beauties as the Strongest Jungler.
Chapter 26: A bond with sex.
The room was entirely quiet except for the low, steady hum of the air conditioner near the window.
Karl lay flat on his back against the hotel mattress, the sudden impact having knocked whatever breath he had left completely out of his lungs.
The ceiling felt very far away.
The girl sitting straddled across his hips, however, was entirely too close.
Elsa’s hair had fallen forward, creating a curtain that trapped the two of them in a small, enclosed space. Her face was flushed a deep, brilliant red that extended all the way down her neck, but her eyes were locked onto his, completely unblinking and fiercely determined.
’This is a joke,’ Karl thought, his hands hovering awkwardly in the air above her waist, entirely unsure of where they were legally allowed to land. ’She is messing with me. This is just another one of her jokes.’
"I am using my wish," Elsa repeated, her voice dropping to a register he had never heard her use before.
It was softer, stripped of the constant teasing and the playful arrogance she usually wore like armor.
Karl swallowed hard. His throat felt like sandpaper.
"Elsa. Get off."
"No."
"You are not thinking straight. We just won a tournament. Adrenaline makes people do stupid things, and you are going to wake up tomorrow morning and realize you made a massive mistake."
"I have been thinking straight since a cafe," she shot back, leaning down just an inch closer. "I paid for this specific room, Kazu. I handed out those keycards exactly the way I wanted to. I did it because I was tired of standing next to you and pretending I just wanted to be your mid laner."
Karl stared at her.
The words hit him one by one, heavy and undeniable, dismantling every excuse he had built in his head over the last few weeks.
"I want you," Elsa said, the admission tumbling out of her lips like a confession she could not hold back for another second. "I want all of you. I want to be yours, completely. I want to make a life with you, however crazy that sounds right now."
Karl’s heart hammered against his ribs like a trapped bird. She was beautiful. Up close, in the dim lighting of the hotel room, the exhaustion of the day had softened her features, making her look entirely vulnerable.
The scent of the hotel soap on her skin was intoxicating, and his own body was reacting in ways that were becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.
He tried to push himself up on his elbows, forcing a small amount of distance between them.
"You don’t know what you are asking for," Karl said, his voice straining. "Elsa, listen to me. You live in a house with a driveway longer than my entire street. You have a father who looks at people like they are math problems he has already solved. You are safe."
"I don’t care about the house," she interrupted.
Elsa looked down at him for a long, quiet moment. The fierce determination in her eyes did not waver; instead, it deepened into something incredibly tender.
She reached down, her cool fingers tracing the line of his jaw, completely ignoring his attempt to push her away.
"Do you like someone else?" she asked softly.
"No," Karl answered aloud, the truth slipping out before he could catch it.
"Then let me help you," Elsa whispered, leaning in until he could feel her breath against his lips. "Let me share the weight. You carried four people on a stage today without complaining once. Let someone carry you for a night. Grant me this one wish, Kazu. Please."
She did not wait for his answer. She leaned the rest of the way down and pressed her mouth to his.
It was not like the rushed, frantic kiss on her bedroom floor.
This one was deliberate, slow, and devastatingly thorough.
Karl’s hands, which had been floating uselessly in the air, finally surrendered, dropping down to rest against the curve of her waist.
The moment his palms touched her skin through the fabric of her shirt, Elsa let out a small, quiet gasp against his mouth.
’I have no idea what I am doing,’ Karl thought wildly. ’I am completely out of my depth.’
But instinct, raw and unthinking, began to take over. He kissed her back. He opened his mouth, letting her in, and the soft, tentative slide of her tongue against his sent a jolt of heat straight down his spine.
Elsa shuddered, her fingers tangling desperately in his damp hair, anchoring him to her as she deepened the kiss.
The physical reality of the situation washed over him.
The friction of her thighs straddling his hips, the soft pressure of her chest pressing against him. She shifted her weight, rolling her hips slightly, and Karl let out a low groan that he had absolutely no intention of making.
Elsa pulled back slightly, her lips swollen and her eyes dark with a completely undisguised need.
She reached down, her trembling hands finding the hem of her shirt. In one fluid motion, she pulled it over her head and tossed it blindly onto the floor, leaving her in just a delicate lace bra that did absolutely nothing to hide the rapid rise and fall of her chest.
Karl could not breathe. He looked at her, truly looked at her, and the last remnants of his hesitation shattered into a thousand pieces.
With a sudden surge of strength he didn’t know he possessed, Karl gripped her waist and rolled. The mattress bounced as he pinned her flat against the sheets, reversing their positions so that he was hovering over her.
Elsa’s breath hitched as he settled between her legs, the weight of his body pressing her down into the mattress. She looked up at him, her eyes wide, entirely stripped of her usual bravado.
"Karl," she whispered, using his real name for the first time, the sound of it doing strange, violent things to his heart. "Please. Go gentle. It is my first time."
Karl froze, his muscles locking up instantly.
’Her first time?’ Karl thought, a wave of profound confusion crashing over him. ’She is wealthy, she is gorgeous, she could have literally anyone she pointed at in this entire city. Why in the world would she want her first time to be with a guy who she’s barely knows?’
"Why me?" he asked, the words entirely involuntary.
Elsa smiled up at him, a soft, trembling smile that reached all the way to her eyes.
"Because you are the only person who never looked at me like I was a prize to be won. You just looked at me. And because I trust you."
That was the end of it. The wall he had built around himself for six years crumbled into dust.
Karl leaned down and kissed her neck, right at the pulse point where her heartbeat was fluttering erratically against her skin. Elsa arched her back off the mattress, a soft, high moan escaping her lips as his lips trailed along her collarbone.
His hands were careful, almost reverent, as they moved over her skin. He unhooked the clasp of her bra, letting the lace fall away, and the sight of her completely bared to him made his chest ache with something that felt dangerously close to love.
He took his time. He mapped every inch of her with his mouth and his hands, drawing out breathless, desperate sounds from her that filled the quiet hotel room. Elsa’s fingers dug into the bare skin of his shoulders, her nails leaving light half-moon indents in his flesh as the pleasure steadily built between them.
"Kazu," she whimpered, her hands pulling at him, entirely impatient now. "Please. Now."
He settled himself between her thighs, his heart pounding a frantic rhythm against his ribs. He met her eyes, silently asking for a final confirmation, and she nodded, pulling his face down to hers for a grounding kiss.
He entered her slowly, painfully aware of every slight flinch and every sharp intake of breath she took.
She gripped his shoulders like a lifeline, her eyes squeezed shut as her body adjusted to the intrusion. Karl held perfectly still, burying his face in the crook of her neck, letting her breathe, letting her feel that he was not going anywhere.
"You are okay," he murmured against her skin, his voice thick and rough. "I’ve got you. Just breathe."
Gradually, the tension left her body, replaced by a slow, blooming heat. Elsa opened her eyes, finding his, and gave a tiny, encouraging nod.
Karl began to move.
He kept the pace agonizingly slow, prioritizing her comfort over his own desperate need. But as the rhythm settled between them, as her quiet gasps turned into soft, broken moans of actual pleasure, the careful restraint began to slip.
Elsa met him thrust for thrust, her hips lifting off the mattress to take him deeper, her hands sliding down his back to pull him flush against her.
The friction, the heat, the overwhelming emotional weight of being entirely accepted by someone who knew exactly how broken he was, pushed Karl right to the edge.
He buried his hands in her hair, kissing her deeply, swallowing her moans as the blinding wave of release finally crashed over him.
Elsa followed a second later, her body bowing upwards, crying out his name as she shattered in his arms.
They collapsed against each other, chests heaving, skin slick with sweat. Karl rolled slightly to the side, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her back tightly against his chest. Elsa curled into him without hesitation, resting her head in the hollow of his shoulder, her breathing slowly evening out.
The room was quiet again, the hum of the air conditioner returning to fill the silence.
’I am completely doomed,’ Karl thought, staring up at the dark ceiling as he felt her heartbeat steady against his own.’
