Chapter 926: Compiled Inventory Check P6

Tracking someone post-mortem on the vast seas was tremendously more difficult than tracking them on land.

Unless some forbidden techniques were employed by paying a steep cost, nobody would know what had happened on Emerald Cove Island.

And even those techniques required many advanced preparations and a considerable amount of time.

As such, there was no immediate threat to Aksai, and there would be plenty of time to inspect those treasures later.

Of course, he knew this was only a temporary period of peace, and the chaos on the mainland would soon reach the shores of Emerald Cove even if he did everything right.

But all of that was for later.

Right now, recovering his strength was more important.

The battle with Varesh had pushed him far beyond his normal limits.

He had exhausted an enormous amount of Spirit Essence and Aurous Qi. His physical body had also suffered terrifying injuries. Even his Aether Essence was depleted to a large extent for the first time in a long while.

Due to the lack of Aether Essence within Dadangar World’s sphere, he needed to cultivate using the Aether Crystals that his clone from the Aether World, Acarnis, had sent in advance to recover his Aether cultivation prowess to its peak.

Although his druidic powers had allowed him to recover from the most dangerous injuries, his foundation still needed time to stabilize.

Such was the power of his last mortal enemy.

He had to admit that Varesh was probably going to remain his strongest opponent for a long while, even when he eventually became a late-stage Lord.

Aksai closed his eyes and slowly adjusted his breathing. His mind became tranquil as he began circulating his foundational cultivation technique.

Sun Moon Stars Trifecta Tantra.

The moment the technique began circulating, the surrounding nature essence started flowing toward him.

The illuminated vines trembled slightly and the flowers swayed. The Spirit fruits hanging from nearby branches released faint waves of life essence along with refreshing fragrances.

All of it slowly gathered around Aksai as his breathing became deeper. His Spirit Essence circulated through his meridians and his Spirit Core began absorbing the refined energy.

At the same time, the wounds hidden deep within his body began healing at a steady pace. Even the stress on his soul that was caused by the formation operation and destruction began fading as he operated his Aether cultivation technique using his Aether Beast Verdant Elder as a medium.

Aksai did not rush. He had already survived the most dangerous part. Now, he only needed time.

A few days later, Aksai finally returned to his peak condition.

The process was not particularly difficult for him.

With the rich nature essence inside his underground cave dwelling, the Spirit plants he could freely harvest from the Enchanted Everwood Farm, and the Aether Crystals supplied by his clone in Acarnis, his recovery speed was far beyond that of ordinary cultivators.

Eventually, Aksai opened his eyes and a faint glimmer flashed through them.

"Finally."

He stretched his body.

Crack! Crack!

A series of crisp sounds came from his bones.

Aksai clenched his fist and felt the tremendous strength coursing through his body.

His condition had returned to its peak. There was no longer any weakness left.

Only then did he allow himself to think about the spoils of war.

Aksai immediately began organizing his inventory.

There were simply too many storage rings to check individually without a proper order.

As such, he decided to start with the most valuable ones first.

Kalina’s storage ring was first on the list.

With a thought, a feminine-looking storage ring appeared in his palm.

Aksai’s Spirit Sense entered it.

The first things he searched for were the two rare talismans he had already identified during the previous inspection. This time he searched more thoroughly than before, hoping to find more of them.

The Instant Recovery Talisman. And the Spirit Reclamation Talisman.

Unfortunately, the Instant Recovery Talisman was no longer available.

Aksai had already used it during his battle with Varesh.

The talisman had played a crucial role in restoring his body after suffering serious injuries from Varesh’s Sword Intent.

The Spirit Reclamation Talisman, however, was still intact.

Aksai carefully examined it.

This talisman had the ability to rapidly restore a cultivator’s depleted Spirit Essence reserves. It also had additional effects (Chapter 875).

It was an extremely valuable emergency resource. Yet Aksai had never felt the need to use it during his battle with Varesh.

The reason was simple. He had two Spirit Cores.

The second one was the Pseudo Core formed through the Verdant Elder.

With two independent sources of Spirit Essence supporting him, Aksai’s reserves were far greater than those of ordinary cultivators at his level. Varesh had thought that he would make Aksai run on fumes by dragging the fight for longer. Unfortunately, this strategy became one of the primary reasons behind his death.

Fortunately for Aksai, even during a battle as intense as his confrontation with Varesh, he had never truly reached the point where his Spirit Essence was completely exhausted.

Therefore, the Spirit Reclamation Talisman had remained unused.

"Still, this is a good thing to have."

Aksai stored it carefully.

One could never have too many life-saving resources.

After putting the talisman into a separate category, Aksai continued inspecting Kalina’s collection.

There were several other special talismans.

For example, there were Tracking Talismans capable of locking onto the residual aura of a target.

There were Reconnaissance Talismans that could temporarily extend one’s Spirit Sense and allow the user to observe distant areas without exposing their own presence.

There were also Long-Distance Communication Talismans that could transmit messages across considerable distances.

Finally, there were several Artifact Strengthening Talismans capable of temporarily increasing the power or stability of an artifact.

None of them could compare with the Instant Recovery Talisman or the Spirit Reclamation Talisman. However, Aksai did not underestimate them.

These talismans were the kind of resources that became extremely useful at critical moments.

Aksai sorted them carefully. His eyes then moved toward another section of the storage ring.
