A Dragon against the Whole World
Chapter 748 - 429: Awakening, the Dominant Red Iron Dragon
Chapter 748: Chapter 429: Awakening, the Dominant Red Iron Dragon
Four Legendary Giant Dragons from the Raging Waves Dragon Domain appeared above Galos’s Sleeping Land.
Each of them exuded a dragon’s might as vast as the sea, not just any ordinary legends.
Leading them was a Golden Dragon Elder, his body shimmering with golden scales, named Keldun, his voice resonant like thunder; beside him was a Silver Dragon with an elegant demeanor but a face covered in frost; another was a Bronze Dragon with eyes sharp as lightning; the last, with deep blue scales and spiraling horns on its head, was distinctly a Sea Emperor Dragon, rare among the Dragon Race.
Their expressions were stern, making no attempt to hide their overwhelming dragon’s might, clearly they came with no friendly intent.
"Ovis," the Golden Dragon Elder named Keldun spoke first, his voice echoing like waves, "Five years, Fubo Dragon Domain has delayed for five whole years. Today, you must hand over Galos Ignas to be brought back with us to Raging Waves Dragon Domain for interrogation."
Opposite, Ovis’s massive golden dragon form stood unfaltering.
On his dazzling golden Dragon Scales, the Holy Oath Runes, representing vows of honor, lit up one by one, emitting a light both steadfast and sacred.
His partner, also a Legendary Scattering Martial Fighting Dragon, Astrid, stood slightly behind him.
A tangible Dragon Qi was burning fiercely around her body, her Dragon Eyes flashing with unrestrained battle lust.
"Keldun, the truth of the matter is far from clear; I absolutely will not hand over Galos under such ambiguous circumstances to any dragon."
Ovis’s tone was resolute, leaving no room for negotiation.
"Conclusion? What other conclusion is needed?! That Siano was torn to pieces by him is an undeniable fact! That his veins flow with filthy Evil Dragon Blood is also a fact!"
The Silver Dragon Elder let out a mournful roar, her voice trembling slightly with agitation.
"Ovis! Why are you ignoring the kinship and favoring a Red Iron Dragon? What on earth are you up to? Are you going to turn your back on our Metal Dragons’ shared stance?!"
This female Silver Dragon was named Finell, the biological mother of the Bronze Dragon Siano.
As for Siano’s Bronze Dragon father, he had perished in a fierce punitive battle against the Helmod Dragon Group while still a young dragon.
It was a formidable Blue Dragon Group led by three Legendary Ancient Dragons.
They were entrenched in the Boiling Sea, long a mortal enemy of the Raging Waves Dragon Domain.
"Favoring? What I uphold is the justice and untarnishable honor of the Dragon Race, not the so-called stance claimed by dragons blinded by personal grudge and narrow-minded prejudice."
Ovis did not retreat from the sharp questioning of the Silver Dragon Finell, calmly countering with a steady voice.
Meanwhile, the Golden Dragon Astrid beside him let out a light, dismissive laugh, tauntingly, "Failing to properly guide your offspring, allowing them to stray, they deserve death."
She paused, her tone sharper, "Or rather, do you, as a mother, also bear responsibility for his death?"
"After all, it’s you who failed to teach him what true justice is and what is obsession driven by hatred."
These words were like adding fuel to the fire, instantly escalating the conflict to its peak.
The grief and fury in the eyes of the Silver Dragon Finell surged to their zenith, her Dragon Eyes glaring at Astrid with an almost fiery intensity.
"Want to fight? Just what I wished for! My claws have been itching from inactivity for quite some time now."
Astrid showed no sign of fear, instead revealing an eager expression, tauntingly beckoning with her claws towards the Silver Dragon, looking ready and keen for a fight.
"Everyone, our five Dragon Domains should share a common enemy and stand united."
"Why engage in conflict over a descendant with Evil Dragon lineage and sour relations?"
The deep blue Sea Emperor Dragon spoke relatively peacefully, attempting to persuade, "Hand over the Red Iron Dragon to us. We assure you by Longge, there will be no private punishment. We’ll simply bring him back to the Raging Waves Dragon Domain to understand the situation more comprehensively, to quell the strife."
Ovis shook his head slightly, his attitude unmoved.
With a deep voice, he declared, "I’ve made my words clear; I will not hand Galos over to any dragon."
"Even if the Bronze Dragon King of the Raging Waves Dragon Domain came personally, my answer would remain the same."
Astrid then spat directly toward the Sea Emperor Dragon’s direction without a trace of politeness, "Don’t pretend to be a peacemaker here! You barged into our island without any prior notice, pulling this kind of stunt."
"Is this the attitude of wanting to negotiate properly? It’s plainly a show of strength to rob!"
"Enough talk, if you want to fight, then fight, don’t dawdle here!"
Upon hearing this, the Sea Emperor Dragon showed a trace of helplessness in his eyes, silently shaking his head, speaking no more.
He had followed to avoid matters from becoming irreparable, being part of the neutral faction, but it now seemed his mediation was rather pale in this tense atmosphere.
"You are harboring a criminal! And your pair of offspring have none of the dignity and honor that Metal Dragons should possess! I see, your family’s bloodline and ideals have long been tainted; you’re degenerates within the Dragon Race!"
The Silver Dragon Finell, losing control of her emotions, roared.
Gone was the grace and composure typical of the Silver Dragon clan, replaced by malice and aggression soaked in resentment.
The accompanying Golden Dragon Keldun and the Bronze Dragon Elder both revealed unfriendly expressions, their dragon’s might further condensing, the air thick with gunpowder.
Ovis and Astrid held their ground, their strong muscles tensing up.
