Chapter 703: Chapter 419: Traversing the Continent, Eternal Radiance Dragon Domain (Part 2)
In contrast, the heritage of the Five-Colored Dragon or Iron Dragon regarding the rules of such Civilized World is much more sparse.
And the Eye of the Stars they spoke of is the official name among various intelligent races for those magical monitoring satellites.
After flying for a while longer, the dragons’ route also passed through some forest kingdoms established by elves.
These realms are vastly different from the style of Human Kingdoms.
Ancient giant tree crowns connected, blocking out the sky, and amid the lush forest, elegant tree houses built on thick branches are faintly visible, along with magical barriers flickering with gentle runes.
The elves reacted to the passing dragons far more calmly than humans.
Some perceptive High-tier Elves would stand in the forest clearings or the tree house terraces and gaze toward the sky at that prominent silhouette of the Golden Dragon with scrutiny and curiosity, yet they never took any action to interfere or obstruct.
As they continued to fly southward, the surrounding climate gradually became warm and humid.
The permafrost, cold winds, and snowstorms frequently seen in the Border Area had disappeared without a trace, replaced by lush and undulating hills, endlessly flowing great rivers, and vast, fertile plains as far as the eye can see.
The elemental presence in the air also became increasingly lively and diverse, brimming with vitality.
Of course, they would also fly over some dangerous territories.
For instance, some vast swamps shrouded in poisonous miasma, rumored to be home to nine-headed giant beasts, or some sprawling mountain ranges infested by powerful magical beasts.
These places are often sparsely populated, exuding a primitive and dangerous aura, marking the boundary of the Civilized World.
A bit like the Sel Wilderness, but even more primitive than the Sel Wilderness.
However, for Galos and his companions, these potential threats are not enough to make them deliberately detour.
Their mighty Long Wei is enough to deter most intelligent creatures and even those magical creatures that act on instinct from rashly provoking.
What truly makes them adjust their flight path and choose to avoid are mainly the territories directly under the Holden Empire.
Across the Atlantia Continent, calculating from its geographical center, nearly three-quarters of the vast area has been mapped into the territory of the Holden Empire, while the remaining quarter is occupied by the former Lothern Federation Countries, some neutral Free City States, and independent countries scattered in other corner areas.
With the power of the Holden Empire, if it has the intention, it is fully capable of unifying the entire Atlantia Continent.
The Nausier Empire, which is equally renowned, also possesses such power.
However, the rulers of these two great empires seem to be more passionate about maintaining a diverse, mutually balanced world structure, not willing to easily incite war. Furthermore, compared to the conventional resources on the continent, they now focus more on the development of the abyss and the exploration of the distant starry sky.
Galos actually wished to witness the empire’s majestic spectacle firsthand, but reason ultimately made him abandon this somewhat adventurous idea.
Before one’s power can support one’s curiosity, caution is necessary.
Finally, they successfully reached the southern coastline of the Atlantia Continent.
"Look over there," Nasha lowered slightly in altitude and pointed below with her Dragon Claw, introducing to Galos, "That’s the City of Thousand Sails in the Latona Kingdom, the largest trade port in the southern Atlantia Continent, bustling with activity."
"This kingdom culturally regards Metal Dragons as symbols of luck and auspiciousness. The populace generally holds a favorable view towards the Dragon Race, hence many Metal Dragons enjoy transforming into human form and lingering here to experience life. The Latona Kingdom has always maintained a friendly relationship with our Fubo Dragon Domain, with stable and mutually beneficial trade exchanges."
"Historically, a king here even invited the Silver Dragon King to personally conduct the coronation ceremony upon his ascension."
Galos lowered his gaze, overlooking through the thin clouds.
He saw a coastline stretching and winding like a snake. The docks crowded with ships of all kinds, and the forest of towering masts were like a boundless woodland, countless ships moved orderly, to and fro, like an anthill bustling inside and outside the port.
Even at the edge of the port, many magic battleships lay anchored, resembling steel giant beasts.
The port’s scale and prosperity far surpassed any settlement Galos had seen in the wilderness, full of breathtaking hustle and vibrant life.
"The Sel Wilderness, after all, is just a corner of the world. The broader world before us is where the real excitement lies."
The Red Iron Dragon thought quietly to itself.
This journey across the Atlantia Continent had broadened the Red Iron Dragon’s horizons and mind, and planted more ambitious ideas and blueprints in its heart.
However, many of these concepts need to be temporarily pressed at heart.
Only when it becomes stronger in the future will it have the ability to let them take root and sprout into reality.
"Nasha, Nasha!"
The Elf Dragon poked its little head from behind Deborah’s tail, asking with a chuckle, "Is there any kingdom that worships Five-Colored Dragons or Iron Dragons as symbols of luck too?"
Upon hearing this, Golden Dragon Nasha instinctively glanced at the Red Iron Dragon beside her.
