Chapter 212: Faithful Duty
Chapter 212: Chapter 212: Faithful Duty
Night quickly arrived.
In front of Li Feng’s cave entrance, a small group of beautiful young female disciples could be seen.
After taking flawless-grade recovery pills and meditating, most of them had already recovered somewhat and were now sitting and chatting around a small bonfire.
Among them was Jing Lu, who had just finished informing everyone of her plan.
She smiled slightly and sat down on a rock near the fire.
’Now that everyone agrees, the only one left is to inform Senior Brother Li about it.’
Just as she was thinking that, she sensed a presence walking out of the cave.
Jing Lu and the other female disciples turned their heads toward the entrance and saw Li Feng stepping out with a satisfied smile, while Ning Jianli followed closely behind him like a loyal maid, her sharp, serious eyes fixed on the man in front of her.
’Hm?’
Jing Lu blinked, slightly surprised.
It wasn’t from the way Ning Jianli carried herself….obedient, almost like a bodyguard that surprised her, but the aura around her.
“…She broke through?”
Jing Lu murmured in shock.
She knew Ning Jianli had been in the late 8th stage of Qi Refinement, just like her.
But now… Jing Lu could clearly feel it…
….Ning Jianli was at the 9th stage of Qi Refinement.
’What exactly happened in that cave…?’
Jing Lu couldn’t help but wonder.
Just as she was lost in thought, Li Feng turned toward the bonfire.
Seeing the healthy complexion of the female disciples, he couldn’t help but smile in satisfaction.
“Ah, it seems you’ve all recovered.”
He was just about to sit down on a nearby rock when Ning Jianli suddenly moved.
Her figure flashed, and she swept the dust off the rock with swift, practiced motions.
Li Feng could only shake his head slightly at her behavior.
Once she finished cleaning the surface, she bowed lightly and gestured for him to sit.
So he did.
Ning Jianli then stood behind him, back straight, hands clasped behind her like a proper attendant and bodyguard.
Jing Lu, watching this, blinked in confusion, wondering what had gotten into Ning Jianli.
Seeing her puzzled look, Li Feng smiled and explained.
“Ah, Junior Sister Ning has now become my… sword maid.”
Li Feng couldn’t help but remember what had happened earlier.
After he had indulged himself with her mortal body and guiding her through another round of dual cultivation, Ning Jianli finally manage to broke through to the 9th stage of Qi Refinement.
During that process, Li Feng also have manage to discovered something new.
And that he could heal his partner through his technique by converting the pure spiritual qi into a type of origin energy born from the union of yin and yang.
That origin energy carried an extremely pure healing property, so potent that even he was surprised.
With just the two of them exchanging yin and yang at the Qi Refinement realm, the healing effect was comparable to… at least a rank-3 flawless-grade recovery pill.
He immediately understood that once he and his partner reached higher realms, that origin energy would only become more terrifyingly powerful.
Now, with her body healed, her spirit energized, and her strength increased…..Ning Jianli should have been elated.
Instead, her expression had darkened.
Not with anger, but with that heavy, suffocating weight a proud person feels when the favor they owe becomes too large to repay.
To her, the breakthrough wasn’t a blessing.
It was more like another debt stacked on top of the previous one.
After thinking for a moment, Li Feng asked her to become his sword maid during their time inside the secret realm.
She agreed immediately—so eagerly, in fact, that she even offered to remain his sword maid for a hundred years after the secret realm ended.
….Of course, Li Feng accepted.
He never was one to reject such a free lifetime meal.
Being a sword maid was essentially being both a personal attendant and a bodyguard.
She would protect her master, assist with all daily matters, manage household chores, guard him during cultivation, and even provide personal care.
A sword maid could also serve as a bed warmer… and, if required, a dual-cultivation partner.
Li Feng, however, tweaked the arrangement.
She would be his sword maid, yes, but there was no need for her to remain with him once the secret realm ended as he wanted her to return to the sect.
He knew that if he ordered her to stay, she would probably comply without hesitation.
But he didn’t.
Deep down, he understood that she was still a cultivator, one who walk the path of seeking the dao.
To keep her tied to him every day would be like asking her to abandon her path.
Especially one as fierce and determined as a Heavenly Sword Sect disciple, who had spent her life sharpening her skills and cultivating her strength through combat.
It would be like keeping a tiger that once roamed free trapped in a room.
Even if she didn’t complain or even realize it, he knew that somewhere deep in her heart, a subtle resistance might fester.
Such small seeds of rejection could grow into a heart demon, potentially hindering her future cultivation and advancement into higher realms.
That was something Li Feng could never allow.
After all, ever since he discovered just how much a cultivator’s body could improve with each breakthrough, he wanted all of his women to advance so they could accompany him for eternity, …..but also to enhance the quality of their night activities.
And he truthfully told her that… except the last part of course, and as he expect,
Ning Jianli seemed to be moved once again, shedding a few tears of admiration as she gave him an attentive service afterward.
And after bursting a few more nuts.
…It was clear now that she was truly serious about performing her duty as a sword maid while they remained inside the secret realm.
’It doesn’t feel that bad to be cared for like this…’ Li Feng thought inwardly, a small smirk tugging at his lips as he remember the attentive service from Ning Jianli.
As he glanced at the group of Heavenly Sword Sect disciples,…. another more mischievous thought crossed his mind.
’Why not turn all of them into his sword maids?’
His eyes glinted, and the desire that had calmed slightly began to surge once more at the very thought of a group of powerful and beautiful sword maids serving him attentively.
“Sword maid?”
Jing Lu murmured, a bit surprised as she glanced at Ning Jianli, who showed no sign of reacting to Li Feng’s words, remaining silently behind him.
She knew what it meant to be a sword maid, which was why the idea caught her off guard.
Usually, such roles existed only in powerful cultivation families or royal households as women for that role were trained from childhood to serve as trusted guards for a powerful heir.
It was unheard of for a sect disciple to willingly become one.
A worried look crossed Jing Lu’s face as she realized that this arrangement might hinder Ning Jianli’s future cultivation.
Seeing her concern, Li Feng added smoothly, “Of course, I’ll let her return to her sect. I won’t restrict her freedom.”
He smiled wryly, as if reluctant to make Ning Jianli his sword maid.
“I don’t want this either, but from what I understand of the Heavenly Sword Sect’s ways….I had no other choice.”
At his words, Jing Lu finally seemed to understand.
Considering the favors their senior brother had already shown them by saving their lives, avenging Ning Jianli by killing the powerful demonic disciple who had slain her brother, and even helping her breakthrough, it made sense why Ning Jianli had agreed.
’No wonder she did…’
Jing Lu sighed softly, then smiled.
It wasn’t entirely a bad thing to serve as a sword maid for someone as great as Senior Brother Li, someone who is righteous, powerful, and undoubtedly destined for greatness in the future.
After that,
She brought up her plan of having Li Feng act as the center and base for their group, knowing that there a group of demonic cultivators was roaming the secret realm now.
She also explained how they would take turns lending him their mortal bodies to help with his poison problem, and also willingly sharing half of their findings with him.
Li Feng listened silently, allowing her to speak without interruption.
Ning Jianli simply nodded, understanding that this was likely the safest and most practical choice as going solo was far too dangerous now.
Soon after Jing Lu finished explaining the details, she smiled.
“What do you think of this, Senior Brother Li?”
Though she smiled outwardly, a trace of nervousness lingered inside. She knew that this arrangement would restrict Li Feng’s movements—and with that, he might lose opportunities he could otherwise find in the vast secret realm.
Li Feng calmly stared at her for a moment before speaking.
“I can agree, but I want to add another condition.”
Hearing this, Jing Lu hurriedly nodded.
“Please tell us, Senior Brother! As long as it’s within our power, we will do our best!”
Li Feng smiled and waved a hand at her earnest tone.
“It’s nothing major. I’m hoping you all can help me find someone… and something.”
Jing Lu nodded immediately, showing no hesitation.
“Yes! Please tell us what you’re looking for!”
Li Feng then began to explain the details of Yue Lan’s appearance.
He had already thought things through.
Searching alone in this vast forest could take who knows how long, but with this group of disciples exploring in different directions, the search would be much faster.
To further increase the speed, he even planned to let Goldie roam freely.
So with the disciples and Goldie working together, the search would proceed far more efficiently.
Not to mention, the condition of having all these disciples help was easy,….. as all he needed to do was spread their legs and enjoy himself along the way, which suited his tastes perfectly.
Hearing his description of Yue Lan, Jing Lu smiled and nodded.
“Judging by your description, that senior sister of yours should be easy to recognize. We’ll make sure to keep an eye out for her. But what about this… thing you want to find?”
Li Feng grinned and leaned slightly forward.
Then he began explaining the details of the thing he had been tasked to find by Cloudveil City Lord Lan Suyao in this secret realm.
“And the thing I want to find is…”
