She was only wrapped in a towel, revealing her fair skin on her shoulders, her small hands uneasily clutching the towel, afraid it might fall off.

Dan Tingye’s gaze deepened as he stared at her, stepping forward to pick her up horizontally and headed straight for the large bed.

Meimei nervously gripped his collar, and before she knew it, Dan Tingye had pressed her onto the bed. His kisses fell like raindrops, leaving Meimei dazed and unaware of him pulling the towel off her.

The chilly sensation snapped her back to awareness, and she quickly burrowed under the covers, red-eyed, looking at Dan Tingye, who suddenly "bullied" her.

"Meimei, come out." Dan Tingye frowned slightly, his dark eyes fixed on her.

"No." Hearing his words, Meimei’s face reddened further, and she shrank deeper into the blankets.

Just as Dan Tingye was about to reach out and pull her from the blankets, a knock on the door interrupted him.

"Get lost!"

Without turning his head, he roared in anger, grabbing Meimei’s wrist, pulling her along with the blanket into his embrace, ready to continue, but then the knocking sounded again, louder than before.

"Young Master, it’s a call from the Ye Family Villa, Mr. Ye has urgent business with you." The bodyguard reported stiffly.
