"Is what Grandfather said true?" Dan Tingye turned on the car light, turning his head to look at Meimei in the passenger seat, his eyes deep and probing.

Meimei’s nerves were tight, not yet recovered from the shock of Dan Tingye forcibly pulling her out of the study. Hearing his words suddenly, she turned her head to look at him in a daze.

"Where to?" Meimei curiously raised her little head, noticing his smile, her tense nerves slowly relaxing.

Letting go of the seatbelt she was clutching, she placed her hands properly on her knees.

Dan Tingye didn’t answer her, just stepped on the gas pedal, driving the car towards an unfamiliar direction.

By the time they arrived at a villa in the city center, Meimei was completely bewildered.

She had never been here before, nor did she know why Dan Tingye brought her here.

"Is this your house?" Meimei asked, seeing Dan Tingye stop the car at the door and preparing to get out, she suddenly spoke.

"This is a Zhong Family villa."

Dan Tingye spoke softly, his deep gaze fixed on her face, waiting for her reaction.

Meimei was taken aback, raising her head to look at him in shock.

She was somewhat unable to understand why Dan Tingye brought her here.

"Zhong Qing is inside, aren’t you worried that I would kill her, come with me." Dan Tingye finished speaking, stepping out of the car with long legs, his tall and handsome silhouette leaning against the car door.

Meimei was stunned for a full half minute before coming back to her senses. She hurriedly opened the car door and ran to his side.

Somewhat breathless, she looked up at him, "You didn’t capture Zhong Qing? Zhong Qing just stayed in the Zhong Family’s own villa, right?"

"..." Dan Tingye raised an eyebrow, not speaking.

"Who said I didn’t capture Zhong Qing?" Dan Tingye suddenly interrupted her, his long fingers picking up a strand of hair by her cheek, a doting smile on his lips, "She dared to hurt you, I won’t let her go."
