Chapter 54. Blood Sucking Queen
Chapter 54: 54. Blood Sucking Queen
A few minutes passed in silence.
The faint smell of blood slowly reached Katherine’s senses before her consciousness fully returned.
At first, it was only a distant awareness, like a memory tugging at the edge of her thoughts, but soon it became impossible to ignore.
Her body felt heavy, weak, and strangely numb, as if she had been deprived of something essential for far too long.
Her limbs refused to respond properly, and when she tried to open her eyes, her vision swam in a blur of light and shadow.
What reached her first was not sight, but scent.
It was sweet, rich, and overwhelming in a way that no ordinary blood could ever be. The fragrance alone made her heart beat faster, and her instincts stirred violently. Her throat felt dry, burning with hunger.
Weakly, she turned her head, guided by instinct rather than conscious thought. Her lips brushed against warm skin, and before she could think or question it, her tongue moved on its own. She slowly licked the blood on Will’s hand.
The moment the taste touched her senses, her entire body reacted.
A comforting male voice echoed gently in her mind, steady and calm despite the situation.
“It’s ok, you are safe now.”
The voice was unfamiliar, yet it carried a strange reassurance that cut through her fear and confusion.
Katherine’s breathing steadied slightly as the blood flowed over her tongue. The taste was intoxicating, far beyond anything she had experienced before.
It was warm, powerful, and filled with vitality. Energy spread through her limbs like a slow-burning fire, pushing back the weakness that had plagued her body.
Without realizing it, she began sucking on the wound more urgently.
Will felt a sharp tingling sensation where her lips touched his skin. At first, he forced himself to remain calm, reminding himself that this was necessary.
She was starving, and this was the fastest way to stabilize her condition. Still, the sensation was far more intense than he had expected.
Before he could adjust, Katherine’s next movement completely shattered his composure.
As her vision cleared slightly, her eyes met his.
Crimson eyes locked onto William’s face, pupils dilated as hunger and instinct overwhelmed her reason.
The moment she recognized the source of the blood, something inside her snapped. Driven by an intense craving and the addictive nature of his blood, she suddenly surged forward.
She pounced on him without warning.
Her legs wrapped tightly around his waist, anchoring herself in place, while her hands reached up and held the back of his head firmly. There was no hesitation, no uncertainty.
Before Will could react, she buried her face deep into his neck and a bit down, her fangs pierced his skin as her body settled fully onto his lap.
“OHHH Dear God!!”
The moan escaped her lips as warm blood flooded into her mouth, energy surging through her body in waves.
Her trembling stopped almost instantly, replaced by a growing strength that spread from her mana core and outward.
Will sucked in a sharp breath.
“Shess!! Too close… system,” he whispered under his breath as heat surged through his body.
Her scent was overwhelming, it was sharp, sweet, and intoxicating in a way that made it difficult to think clearly.
Her proximity, the warmth of her body, and the way she clung to him left very little space between them.
Her face was impossibly beautiful up close, and her expression a mix of desperation and bliss, while her figure pressed against him in a way that made his thoughts blur.
Normally, Will prided himself on his control. He had flirted with many enchanting females without flinching in both his lives.
Yet the sensation of her lips, the sharp pull of her fangs, and the steady rhythm of her feeding began to erode his rational thought.
His body reacted before his mind could catch up his hands started glazing over her back and shoulders as if helping to sooth her instincts as a vampire, and for a moment, he understood how dangerous this situation truly was.
[Hehe… seems like she won’t stop now.]
Will clenched his jaw but said nothing.
Time slipped by in a strange haze.
Almost an hour passed without either of them speaking a single word. Katherine remained latched onto him, drinking steadily, as if afraid that stopping would cause everything to vanish.
With every swallow, her strength returned, her posture straightening, her grip on Will tightening slightly.
Meanwhile, Will remained still, enduring the loss of blood while strangely finding the sensation difficult to let go of. There was a calming effect to it, one that dulled the sharp edges of his thoughts.
Eventually, something shifted.
Will sensed it before he consciously acknowledged it.
Several powerful presences were approaching rapidly from a distance. Their auras were unmistakable, he could sense the aura of countless strong Vampires.
His expression hardened.
They were here for Katherine.
Will raised his hands and placed them firmly on her shoulders. She resisted instinctively at first, her legs tightening around his waist as if she refused to be separated.
Gently but firmly, he pulled her away from his neck. It took more effort than expected.
“I know you are hungry,” he whispered while taking deep and silent breaths, his voice steadied as he cupped her face and forced her to look at him. “But it’s time I leave.”
Katherine’s eyes were unfocused, glazed with intoxication of his blood. She looked at him as if the world beyond him barely existed.
“Your people have come,” he continued, meeting her crimson gaze. “Take care.”
He attempted to stand, but her legs were still locked tightly around him, pinning him in place. His heart raced, torn between the urge to stay and the knowledge that he could not.
In the end, he made a decision.
With controlled force, he delivered a precise chop to the back of her neck.
Katherine’s body went limp almost instantly as she lost consciousness, He slowly held her thighs and loosened the grip holding him in place.
Will exhaled slowly.
Every part of him screamed to stay, to chase the addictive warmth and sensation he had just experienced.
But he knew better. Lingering any longer would only complicate things further.
Activating his invisibility, he moved swiftly. Sovereign sword intent surged beneath his feet, lifting him into the air as he vanished into the sky.
[Host, it’s time to leave. The entrance exam starts in one day.]
“System,” Will said as he touched his now-healed neck, his fingers brushing over the spot where her fangs had been. A faintly embarrassed expression crossed his face.
“Is the monthly purchase opportunity available?”
[Yes, host. The cooldown ended a few hours ago.]
“Ok. Purchase a binder and use it on Katherine.”
He shook his head slightly while thinking of the embarrassing encounter that just happened.
“never again,” he muttered before turning away and heading back toward the designated abyssal node of Riverdale.
Meanwhile, back at the shattered cart….
Katherine slowly woke up, her mind a tangled mess of fragmented memories and sensations.
The first thing she noticed was the lingering taste of blood in her mouth. It was still there, rich and vivid, refusing to fade.
She raised a trembling hand and gently touched her lips. A few drops of blood stained her fingertips.
With extreme care, she isolated the blood using her blood control ability and stored it inside a small glass vial she retrieved from her belongings. As a royal vampire, her control over blood far exceeded that of ordinary vampires.
as she did that an image surfaced in her mind.
A figure wearing a crow mask, Black attire, black pupils and black hair, that is all she remembered
Heat bloomed in her chest as she let out a low, dangerous chuckle.
“I have marked you mine” she whispered.
Her gaze shifted to her net gloves, where a few strands of blue hair were tangled in the fabric. Her fingers brushed over them reverently as her smile deepened.

A/N: Even though the Shaitan mask changes Will’s hair color, that effect disappears if those hairs are detached from the body.]
