100X Returns System: I Dominate the Age of Gods

Chapter 140. Don’t touch him

Chapter 140: 140. Don’t touch him

“ughh!! Where do I even start?” Vivianne sighed, leaning back slightly in her chair as her gaze drifted toward the ceiling of the chamber.

The earlier playfulness in her demeanor had faded, replaced by a weariness that hinted at how tangled the situation truly was.

The ceiling above reflected the soft ambient light of the room, but her eyes were unfocused, clearly searching her memory rather than admiring the architecture.

After a brief pause, she straightened her posture and leaned forward, resting her elbows lightly on the table.

“Remember, Katherine got kidnapped recently!!” she said, her tone sharpening as she forced herself back into the present.

Then, as if another thought collided with the first, she tilted her head slightly and added casually,

“By the way, how is my daughter doing?? Has she started bullying others already? hehe.”

Her question earned her tense expressions from everyone.

Andrea’s expression stiffened as realization dawned on her. Vivianne’s tone was light, almost teasing, but Andrea now understood something deeply unsettling.

Vivianne had no idea.

“Ohh!! so you don’t know,” Rominus whistled softly, leaning back in his chair with a look of faint amusement.

“Seems like the academy is really secretive these days regarding our children.”

Vivianne froze.

Her playful expression vanished as she slowly turned her head, scanning the room. The grim faces staring back at her did not miss a single beat, and in that moment, a chill crept down her spine.

“What?” she asked

No one answered.

“What is it??” she raised her voice.

A bad premonition settled heavily in her chest as she looked from one leader to another, searching for reassurance and finding none.

“ughh!! Where do I even start?” Andrea sighed, rubbing her forehead as she glanced up at the ceiling, unconsciously mirroring Vivianne’s earlier gesture.

“Why do you think we are meeting here?” Andrea continued, lowering her gaze back to Vivianne

Vivianne frowned, eyes moving across the faces seated around the table. “Tea party? maybe,” she said hesitantly.

“You have, like, Huge ass tea farm as long as i remember.”

Andrea pinched the bridge of her nose, irritation slipped through her composure.

“Your kid made quite a lot of friends in the academy,” she said slowly mathing her gaze with Vivianne, “And now she has left the academy with them to search for a brat’s girlfriend.”

The words landed heavily.

“What the hell??” Vivianne shot to her feet halfway before stopping herself, disbelief written plainly across her face. “What are you saying?? Katherine doesn’t make friends!!”

“Friends or not,” Andrea replied evenly, “she has left the academy under the pretense of a mission to search for a brat’s girlfriend along with six other kids.”

The color drained from Vivianne’s face. Her lips parted, but no sound came out for a moment as the implications caught up with her.

“Elaborate!!” she demanded finally, gripping the edge of the table.

“Why did you let everyone go when it was told to us that leaving the academy, even for missions, was prohibited?”

Andrea exhaled slowly, shoulders dropping as she prepared herself. She leaned back into her seat, eyes briefly closing before reopening with resolve.

Several minutes passed as Andrea explained everything in careful detail. She spoke of the academy’s internal spy situation, about the brain seeding, and of the deal she had struck with William.

Every word she spoke added another layer to the already complicated picture.

“So you made a deal with that blue hair human brat,” Vivianne said once Andrea finished, her expression grim, “in exchange for some information about the cults.”

“Yes,” Andrea replied firmly. “But don’t blame me. Your daughter came asking for permission. I did not force her to go.”

“This boy is suspicious,” Raegor spoke up, his voice low and wary. Several leaders nodded in agreement, except Andrea, Marcus, human leaders, and Yue Qinglan.

“Why don’t we…” Reagor’s tone had turned dangerous as if he was about to suggest something dangerous for William.

Andrea’s eyes sharpened instantly, cutting toward Raegor like drawn blades.

“Choose your words wisely from now on, Emperor Raegor.”

The room stilled.

“That boy has incomprehensible people standing behind him,” Andrea warned before continuing, “His master is on the level of an Astral Warden.”

Raegor stiffened.

“And not just his master,” Andrea went on, meeting his gaze without flinching. “He has the backing of mine, Marcus’s, and Yue’s as well.”

“Recently, another Astral Warden..the Elder Storm Dragon..also showed interest in him.”

Gasps echoed softly around the chamber as eyes widened in shock.

Raegor shivered, the confidence he had carried moments ago visibly eroding, yet still he did not interrupt.

“As the ancestor of the human empire of Riverdale,” Yue Qinglin spoke from the side in a merciless tone,

“I can assure you that if William is even scratched, the Riverdale Empire will take it as an attack on itself.”

She leaned forward slightly, with a cold and unwavering gaze. “And you will find me leading the Riverdale army to your doorsteps then”

The words pressed down like a physical weight. Raegor and those who had nodded earlier felt sweat bead along their brows.

“Thank you!!”Tamasya’s voice rang quietly in both Yue’s and Andrea’s minds, earning subtle smiles from the two Astral Wardens.

“Yeah, I’m with sis on this,” Marcus added, folding his arms. “That brat is my future commander. Don’t touch him.”

The declaration was so casual that it only made it more unsettling.

Around the table, every racial emperor had the same thought echoing in their minds.

What the hell is with that human??

Raegor chose silence. His usual fiery temper had cooled completely at the mention of Astral Wardens.

“Anyway,” Andrea said, shifting the conversation back on track,

“Vivianne, we will find them and also rescue the missing people.”

She paused briefly before saying. “You can choose to come with us or go solo. Its your wish.”

“I’ll come,” Vivianne replied immediately.

Her earlier temper had fully dissipated after witnessing Raegor receive a barrage of warnings.

Only now did it truly sink in that Andrea and Yue, figures she had often spoken with casually, were Astral Wardens.

Beings whose existence operated on a level she could neither question nor fully comprehend.

If not for their patience, the leaders currently sitting around this table would have already been reduced to ashes for throwing a fit.

“Please elaborate on how you found Sara!!” Yue asked Vivianne again, bringing the conversation back to the topic

Vivianne nodded.

“Remember, Katherine got kidnapped recently!!” she began.

*Bam!!*

The doors of the chamber burst open violently, the sound echoing like a blast through the room.

Marcus’s blood boiled instantly. His jaw clenched as irritation surged through him.

He wanted information from Vivianne, but the discussion kept getting interrupted again and again with useless banter.

“Cousin!! You are here!!”

The Dragon Emperor’s towering figure came into view, chains clanking loudly as he dragged a bloodied figure behind him across the floor.

The moment Marcus’s eyes landed on the dragon emperor’s figure, something inside him snapped.

“Shitty bastard!! You are here again to disrupt my peace!!” Marcus roared, vanishing from his seat and reappearing in front of the Dragon Emperor in a blur of motion, his fist already flying toward his face.

The punch halted midair.

“Tsk!! don’t lose your cool.”

Andrea appeared between the two Dragonkin, her hand firmly gripping Marcus’s wrist, holding back a strike that could have obliterated the entire building.

She turned her head toward the Dragon Emperor with mild annoyance. “Why are you here, kiddo? We are busy right now!!”

Emperor Drakemore’s eyes sparkled like a kid “Big sis, good to see you here.”

His gaze then flicked toward Marcus, who was still bristling with barely restrained fury. “Tsk, this man has no control. I came to discuss important stuff.”

Andrea’s eyes moved past him, finally settling on the bloodied figure bound in chains.

The body was thick and muscular with black and red stripes on its skin.

Its eyes, nose, and ears were gouged out, and it was bleeding from the wound cavities.

Her expression hardened.

“Who is this demon?”

“He is Dahek,” Emperor Drakemore replied calmly. “He is Amon’s pet i caught recently”
